Was so excited to visit a local ATX boutique and was incredibly shocked at how rude and unwelcoming the store associates were - it was like they were annoyed we even walked in. Also, laughing at the other reviews with the same comments about mean employees. A bad shopping experience and I’ll never be back 😌

I came in as an out of town shopper. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They even went out of their way to give me other recommendations for me to check out. I will absolutely come back here next time I am in Austin.

Wow. I must have reached the age where I no longer visibly carry the cool card or maybe its just the fact that I have children but stopping in to try to find something nice for my wife, I received absolutely no acknowledgement from the staff and we had to stand at the counter for approximately 2 minutes before one young lady turned around to ask if I had any questions. As for as the clothing, it seems to be unique and quite modern with a wide variety and eclectic selection. However, soured with my initial interaction, I took my money right down the street to another boutique that looked just the same . There is more to selling clothing then having clothing to sell, maybe something you should take into consideration.

While I thought the boutique had lovely clothing, as an out of town shopper, I didnt appreciate my inability to return a perfectly unworn, tags-on garment for a full refund - its store credit only, which had I known, would have influenced my decision to buy something there at all as I like fair return policies. Alas, this boutique does not have them, nor will the manager of returns consider them.So warning to all - investing in clothing here is a risk, as you will never get your money back if you so chose. Good thing there are plenty of other boutiques out there that make this reasonable allowance.

Is there a zero star review?I live in So Cal and stumbled across this site for a top I was searching for.I purchased this expensive top but it didn’t fit well.As per the instructions I called for authorization to return it.Apparently I was one day past the allotted 7 days (over a weekend and a work trip so I had not been home) and the rude girl on the phone would not return the top at all! At first she counted the days from the day she shipped me the top! What? Then as I pressed her she agreed to a store credit.It is unfortunate that this store didn’t see the potential for a new out-of-state client that buys more than her fair share on line and adores small specialty boutiques.Well for me if you are going to be rude and awful to me, I am not getting off the phone until I get my refund as I will not spend one dime in this store.Finally, I got my refund, now writing my review and I am OUT.

Incredibly disappointed about my experience at this store. Felt completely unwelcome by the staff. They offered no help and made me feel like I wasn’t good enough to shop there. I picked some clothes to try on and they put them back on the rack before I even got the chance. I could’ve bought a cute top but truly did not want to give them my business. My friend, on the other hand, bought a necklace over $100. She wore it to dinner right after and it broke and fell off of her neck. When she asked for a refund, they refused and were completely unhelpful and unapologetic. Extremely turned off by this store and will not be back.

Wow. Felt very unwelcome by the staff (two out of three) when I asked for different sizes etc. they were dismissive and said that was all they had. Luckily the 3rd employee helped me out and started taking things to the dressing room for me. Spent 300+ due to the short curly haired woman’s help.I often shop at top tier boutiques and have never felt this way. As a Mexican woman Visiting Texas from SoCal definitely felt unwelcome. Would have spent more if it wasn’t for the staff.

Such an amazing place with perfect customer service. Walking into this small privately owned business I know I’m going to get the best, high quality clothes. Along with the AH-Mazing staff I couldn’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t love this place!

Cove is definitely my new favorite! They have some really cool, unique and beautiful clothes. And besides being obsessed with all their accessories, Im in LOVE with my new swimsuit. Im always getting compliments on my clothes from here. Every time I walk in it feels like a mini getaway...I wish every store felt like that. Plus the staff is super chill and friendly without being annoying. Believe me when I say, this place is a rare Austin gem!

Incredibly rude staff! I want to love this store but the manager is a nightmare. Stares you down when you walk in and offers no help.Will take my business elsewhere.

I have found other locations where it is not judgmental on South Congress. Some cute items, but it did not win my heart.

I honestly have never felt so unwelcome in a store, in my adult life. It might be because I did not walk in with my Never-Full Louis Vuitton, but this is not the proper way to treat perspective customers. After looking through Zimmerman, Chloe, and AG jeans, I realized all eyes are on me. The women working were rude, crass and yes judgmental. If you dare bring in a child stroller, or a child for that matter, prepare to be targeted. It is too bad that the employees behave in this manner, I sure did want to have a Julia Roberts Pretty Woman moment, but honestly that store is not worth my time and importantly my money.

The staff at this store allowed someone who was using a stolen card of mine to purchase over $700 in items and they didnt even check an ID. See something, say something.
