This has been my go-to clothing store ever since Casual Corner shut down. Ive been very happy with them taking their place. I have been able to find quality skirts and dresses throughout the year. This is also the only place in town Ive been able to find the Levis that fit me.I recently found myself in a rush to find a formal dress for an event that popped up on me. I crossed my fingers and rushed to the store and found a, albeit small, selection of appropriate dresses to choose from. I was saved!Im also pleased with their annual coat sale in December. You can get a steal after Christmas! Ok, its Austin--how much do you really need a winter coat? Well, you know our random winter events; grab this sale!

There Cashier Jana is a blessing. Not only did she assist me with my online order she also gave me some Information to use for healthy living habits. Super excellent customer service

This place doesn’t have any good management skills, specially because of the manager named Adrienne’s behaviour. Not only has she been rude to me today but also with other customers right infront of me. The higher management definitely need to take some serious action. The store at Tech Ridge is under wrong hands.

I love going shopping at JC Penneys because I always get great saving and discounts. And with this virus its good to get a saving after being off work for so long. I dont usually go to black Friday because the stores are always crowded but I went for the first time and got the 70% saving. This saving helped me stay with in my budget. My ratings is a 5 star. Pleasant staff and very convenient

The sales rep in the jewelry department was super helpful trying to locate a ring I wanted. She checked the website & attempted to find as many discounts & coupons as possible.

This JCPenney’s always has a great selection of men’s women’s and children’s items. The staff is always friendly and willing to assist you. When I went in today I could not find my size in blazer and the staff was more than willing to search other JCPenney‘s and give them a call to reassure that the item was there, awesome service will be a returning customer.

This cashier(lady red hair) was awesome personality nice to talk to laugh with! Only problem mind you im a Black American i had noticed man following & watching me. I laughed! I know my status evidently your store doesnt. I asked next time hire ppl thats not so obvious.

I love that i always find awesome deals at JCpenney! Customer service in sephora is always awesome and friendly but customer service for JCPenney is just ok they could be a little more friendly and helpful but they arent horrible.

Out dated fashioned

The lady in Sephora, I cant remember her name but she had white bleached hair, I had went in there and noticed they had my favorite urban Decay eye liner, I looked around to see if someone can help me, because they only had the sample one, I noticed the lady behind the counter, I had ask her if they had anymore of the color I wanted, she never came out to look she just stood there and said no, she wasnt even busy no one was in there except me, when I have gone there before, theyve been so helpful, but not this one it seems she just didnt want to be bothered, so I just left,

Purchased my curtains here in the draperies department. Had an exceptional experience. Tammy and Linda were the sales associates that guided me through the process and I could not be happier. This store has a great selection of draperies and rods to choose from, great prices, and they will come to your house and install the rods too. Im so happy I chose to work with JC Penny for this large home purchase. Go see Linda or Tammy and they will offer great customer service and advice!!

Mens jeans were chaos; blown out/not alot to choose from, unorganized and not turned label/size out. Took me an hour to sort through the mess methodically to find what I was looking for but I found them so there was a victory.

Found everything I needed. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff especially when looking for specific gifts for loved ones.

I dont appreciate staff that dont let you finish your sentence and talk so fast that you feel like they arent listening to you because they are more focused on saying what they have rehearsed. I had simple questions and expected friendlier help from someone who seemed to be the front end lead.

I like it so much as well as my wife alsoWe went to buy a lot of differ stuff for me and her also from Austin Texas branch.Some items we didnt like after purchasing..when I went back to return it. The staff great me with very positive approach like a new customer coming to buy from the store first time.Also they told me to redirects money back after a week. The store was very clean and organized! Just didnt have whatI was looking for.

Curbside took about 20 minutes and there wasn’t another vehicle waiting. I arrived at 636pm, they close at 7. I called after about 20 min to be sure they got the notification, while on hold an employee finally arrived and told me I waited so long because it was close to closing time. There was hardly any vehicles in the parking lot and I watched an employee lock doors, before closing time, while I waited.

They didnt have enough baskets so I had to carry everything around in my arms. But the staff was very helpful. Marie in jewelry was very helpful. Will definitely be back.

The times I have gone, it is never busy. So good thing is no long waits at the check out. If the line forms they make sure they get back up pretty quickly.

I placed an order online that I stopped in to get. A young man greeted me at the door and directed me to the right area. I was surprised at the new and up to date clothing lines in store. Hell i started shopping!! So it was a good experience. They are a tad expensive, but I still bought a few sweaters.

Came just after the New Year. It wasnt messy but picked over. I wasnt even looking for after Christmas sale items.Nothing spectacular to rate it higher or lower. Another stand alone store trying to keep their doors open

This JCPenney is a lot better than the ones you found in southern California. We got what we needed and got through the line very quickly. The clerks were knowledgeable and helped us with our digital coupons. The next day we had to return an item was just as quick.

Nice price on jeans

I came to this location to get Holiday Postcards done and I was amazed by the way the pictures came out. The photographer captured my sons & daughters personality through the pictures! I was so happy with the way they all came out! EVERYONE there was so nice. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, the photographer let me have my input on how I felt I wanted the postcard and Im just VERY pleased with my pictures and so glad I came here. I cant wait to come back! Thanks you guys 👍👍

First time going in this salon since 2012. I had the pleasure of having Redd to wash, deep condition, blow dry and flat iron my hair. What a great job! I will definitely return for my natural hair straightening needs.

My first trip to JCPENNEY was a little bit disturbing after watching two young men trying to pull off a theft. The key word here is trying, bcuz they were apprehended and taken to jail what a sad thing to have to witness. I had other shopping to do but did not feel as comfortable after seeing this event unfold. Later today I returned however, and was able to complete my shopping and got some really good deals in the end.

Clean, friendly staff and a wonderful environment!

Love the ease of ordering products on line; and then being able to just drive up to the store, walk in, pick up your items and drive home. I dont miss the hasle of fighting people and waiting in line for gifts. I ordered some towels and some clothes for me. I love the color and feel of them.

Jewelry department staff sucks!

Wow! The merchandising is fresh and new! All the displays are neat and the items on the mannequins are cute and easy to find in all the sizes. So many colors and fabrics, and beautiful yet modest styles! Im liking this!

Normally the online pickup line is long with 20 plus minutes waits between each customer with only one Customer Service Representatives running back and forth getting the orders. Today was different. Stood in line all of 1 minutes plus another 7 minutes for the CSR to grab it out the back and finish the transaction. They were at least three other staff in view if anyone needed assistance in the line. Overall a great improvement. Let us hope its stay this way for the holidays season.

Now this place is a classic shopping spot these days. I think its a little too trendy for me nowadays, but you can still find some cool clothing at decent prices. Cool place to window-shop regardless!

I went with my mom for her to go shopping and she seemed to really like it. She found several things that she purchased and they had a very nice selection of clothing. They had a lot of clothing that was on the clearance rack for up to 90% off. Always like to see that. The place actually reminded me a lot of kohls, its nice and a good place CD we for nice clothing and maybe a great deal.

Great experience. My appointment was right on time. Best style and color by Lisa that I have ever had since doing the big chop after coming to Austin in 2009. Reasonably priced. If only I had made the call sooner. Are you looking for a place to do ethnic hair care? Ask for Lisa.

Have always enjoyed shopping at JCP. They have beautiful selection of clothing for men, boys, girls, women. Prices are comparable to similar stores. Staff always very professional and helpful if you need help finding an item.

Got awsome ting but there as no gift bags

Last time I went here it was just for some dress shoes. It was 7 pm the store looked organized. They also had great selection of womens shoes in clearance. I found the shoes I needed went to check out, the line was at least 10 people but all registers were open w employees. They got to each of us and out of there impressingly quick.

Very Bad. Service is very bad. Manager dont care to help. I went instore to return items. I had two t-shirt in one bag and Employee took my return and refund me for only item.

I love this place. However the one on Tech Ridge had about three shopping carts for the whole store. There was a big sale and people didnt have carts just bags. I would think that they would want to have carts for their customers as a full cart makes a lot more revenue for the store then a small black bag. Plus it was very inconvenience for people with children trying to shop I am marking at a 3 for the shopping and convenience

Selection is limited. Staff wasnt helpful. They passed over me in line twice. Since I am invisible to them, I probably wont shop there again.

This store is a stand alone store, not too busy. Its pretty good and has a good selection. Great sales and you can get more coupon through the app, which make prices MORE than reasonable. Employees were okay, not overly enthusiastic to be there, but not rude.

Love me some JCP. Since locating to Austin from Bastrop Ive been spending a lot of $$ at this one. I have gotten some really great deals and the staff is always so nice!

Everything and everyone was fine. Besides the security guard who followed my wife into Sephora then wanted to create a issue because she had the cart In Sephora ???? Like it’s not part of the store which happen to be absolutely empty. So after the extremely nice lady in Sephora was like .... it’s ok he then followed my wife around Like she was going to steal made my wife incredibly uncomfortable. I generally shop online with JCPenney an was only there to return some jeans ... I bought online an was looking around afterwards and actually ended up buying while in the store ... won’t buy a single item one more time smh .

Was lucky to check out without a line. Was shopping with my wife for some running shoes for her. Could use more sizes. They didnt have enough in her size.

They always have the latest fashions, great low prices and greats sales. I can shop for my entire family plus get things for my home like decor, bedding, bathroom, kitchen stuff. I just love it.

When I went to pick my items at the customer service counter, the first thing that I encounter was a large dog barking - its owner had poor control of it. I was uncomfortable and had to hide around the corner until someone finally came along to help me. Then when it was my turn to be helped I was scared it was going to jump on me. That was a horrible experience. The customer service lady most have been new because everytime I asked her a question she had to go to the back and ask somebody, then come back and give me an answer. I stopped counting the back and fourth the 5th time she went back there. Turns out the order I placed 3 weeks ago never arrived and had to be cancelled. It literally took 25 minutes to do what should have taken 5 minutes. I suggest additional customer service training and no Dogs. Not everyone is a dog person and the last time I checked JC Penney is not a dog park. Make shopping a good experience, not a scary, tense one!

If i could give it 0 i would. First off my mom was still inside after they were closing, my minor brother went to help her find the clothes we wanted to buy, but this very rude lady straight up told him he was not allowed inside to find our mom and that he had to wait outside for her. It was past dark and past 9pm, not to mention alone. She would not let him in to find me or my mother. When we got to the register to check out, we waited over 5 minutes while the cashier and the manager argued with the guy infront of us about the tag price. It had a clarence sticker but was ringing up for a higher price. They were very rude to him about it. Finally when it was our turn to checkout the cashier kept on asking and asking to open up a credit card. She would not take no for an answer. It took 5 minutes of saying no for this lady to finally check us out. It was a frustrating experience and i will not be returning. I recommend people to shop at Target instead, they have better prices and far better guest service.

I like the store. Not enough employees or customer ratio. We waited a long time to be helped. When we were helped they did not have what we wanted. Wasted close to an hour! Clean store and nice products. Staff was friendly, just not enough of them. Not sure if we will return.

YAWN. Standard, stale, mid-level merchandise...same as every other location. This location is quieter and cleaner than most. Well stocked and orderly. Cashiers are very nice and friendly but not the most efficient. One of the few times Ive wished for self-service check-out. Kohls is more interesting and has better prices.
