I’m giving BMW of Austin 4 stars. It’s a great facility, they have taken good care of me for the year I’ve been with them. I deducted a star due to being overcharged on merchandise I purchased in store. Be aware that none of the clothing, hats, accessories have price tags. I asked the lady at the coffee bar to assist me with a hat and sweater. She rang them up and told me the prices.After I got home, I showed my husband the merchandise and he wanted the same sweater. When I pulled the receipt out of the bag I noticed I was charged more than what she told me. I’ve since called and talked to her, her manger and received a voicemail from Arnold (the parts manager) who apologized and said he would make it right and never has. I’ve left multiple voicemails for Arnold and now waiting for any manager to call me back.My son is currently building his BMW and wanted to purchase him a nice jacket but at the rate things are going I don’t know that I will invest any more money with BMW.
Charlie Baze was super easy to work with on getting my new X3 ordered. We had to get creative to pull the deal off as planned when a little glitch materialized towards the end of the process but he definitely came through for me. I couldnt be happier. Love my new BMW!
I had an excellent experience at BMW of Austin few days back as my car lease ended and was exploring options for purchasing or returning . Chris Seaman from the sales team and Caitlin from the lasing team were very helpful in getting the inspection done and extending the lease for additional few more days (as I was not able to make a quick decision) . James Stewart was a total great salesperson. He made trading in my car and purchasing a CPO model an amazing experience. I can not rate him highly enough. In many years of car buying, he made it easy and not painful. He was the best Sales Rep I have dealt with! Salesman Cory Rutherford was amazing! I would highly recommend him if you are looking for someone honest and straightforward. I could not be more pleased with Cory and my experience at BMW of Austin. I will say the same about Troy in finance. He explained all the warranty information but was not pushy about the information as I have experienced at other dealerships. Great job guys!!
Went in for some warranty service. Great experience from start to finish. Sales departments are almost never the best way to judge a dealership.To me it is the after-sales service which will retain my business. Starting with the initial contact when I pulled into the service area, sitting down with my service advisor, ensuring I had a clean loaner, keeping me posted on the repair and coordinating the return - all went perfectly, even though their shop was running a little behind.Amanda DeHart was my service advisor. Absolute professional, managed my expectations and was on it from start to finish. Made me feel like I was her only customer, even though I know she had several others to keep happy.Good clean work and great people who know what they are doing and deliver on the promise of quality customer service. Excellent customer service! Scott Cuny is the guy to go to. He took very good care of my car and also made recommendations which improve the performance of the car. Normally dealers tag multiple unnecessary repairs to your vehicle to make money but not this location. Im going to him every single time to get my vehicle serviced!
They are very honest and responsive here. I bought a used BMW and they gave me a fair assessment of everything wrong with the car, and even referred me to places to get stuff done cheaper for things they didnt think would be necessary to have done at the dealership! I really appreciate honesty with care salespeople, so I am glad that I had Eric Dominguez as my service advisor. Your BMW is in good hands here

I would always recommend BMW of Austin. What I didnt like is that the dealer that I worked with was not a professional. He disparaged the model I was going for and gave nothing but his opinion on the matter. I also did not appreciate having to go back to the bank to get an actual check because they did not accept digital checks from UFCU because they have had problems. I have never had any agency claim issues with UFCU. Its always been my loan provider and my back for decades. Also the dealers are pretty unprofessional, making it blatantly clear that your staff can just take a car and go joyriding without properly accounting for it. They were having a discussion right in front of us about a car that one claimed the other took but didnt sign for while the accused claimed he never took it. It was pretty bad. I had my heart set on that car which is why I tool it. As for the personnel, aside from the finance officer and the BMW genius that gave us a quick walkthrough of the settings, It was a pretty poor experience. Do better. The bar is set too low with that staff.

I am beyond grateful for what they were able to do for me in record time. I am a traveling Respiratory Therapist making my way across the country helping sever, trying to combat Covid. They worked with me every step of the way. Kept me informed and was able to acquire the parts needed and fix my car and get me back on my way!! Truly a God send. BMW of Austin is the only place I take my car for service. Amanda, who I work with each time I come in is fantastic. She asks the right questions to get a clear picture of what is going on and she makes sure to stay in touch with me regarding the progress of my vehicle. It is important to note that service times at most dealerships and businesses is delayed. This can be tough for everyone- especially if we dont all understand what is taking so long! In all, BMW had my car 6 days, the work I had done addressed my concerns and I am back to enjoying my ride!
Brought my vehicle in a couple of times to get some repairs done. Initial customer service experience was good. When I tried to request a quote for additional work I contacted my designated advisor via email and my request went unanswered. Weeks later I called again requesting the same quote and the service department said they’d get back to me, never heard back. I called again a week later and I was transferred to another rep and I was told to contact my advisor. You’re seeing the pattern now? I sent another follow-up email to my advisor but it’s been a week and I haven’t heard back. I’m guessing they don’t want my business at this time so I’ve decided to go to a BMW specialist. So far the BMW specialist has been very transparent and has done good work which I appreciate and value. Gave BMW of Austin 2 stars because initially they were friendly.
We purchased a 2015 X3 BMW from the Pre-Owned sales department and could not have been more pleased with the care and service we received from Javier Moulinie.The attention to detail and polite etiquette from Javier was greatly appreciated by my wife and me. He took the time to explain all the features of the car and all the details of the purchase process. Javier has a great sense of humor and candor and is a great asset to the BMW family. Upon arrival to the service area, I was immediately helped, and directed me to my service advisor. He was courteous, and very knowledgeable. I was given estimates based on my car problems. I have been trying for the umpteenth time to get hold of someone from the parts department. Each time, I get cold-transferred and the call will be dropped. But I finally got hold of Robin who was very pleasant and had an amazing, cheerful personality (even on the phone). Turned out she went to high school in Houston with my name sake. She helped me with my inquiry and I was very pleased. Charlie Baze in sales is one of the most through and sincere sales advisor I have ever met. All together great experience with BMW of Austin.

Bought a new BMW X7 late last year and the transaction was smooth - Had a trade-in and the whole process was handled excellently by the sales folks - No issues there - However the finance department is a completely different story - Bought a BMW Ultimate Care plan when i purchased my BMW and traded in my car in June this year and wanted to cancel the Ultimate Care plan. Emailed the finance team in July and no word yet - Called them multiple times and left multiple VMs to no avail - When you want to buy a plan - sure takes 30 minutes and the whole team is just waiting there - When you want to cancel - whole different story - you have to run behind multiple folks just to get the cancellation form and once you send that back - the waiting game begins!!! I hope PENSKE management takes notice and helps out a loyal BMW customer!
This dealership does it right! I was in quickly, and they provided me with a new 3 series for a rental. This was a huge convenience, especially since I use my vehicle as my daily driver. The problem with my vehicle was identified quickly and completely fixed. When I picked up my car, they had also washed the outside and vacuumed the inside. This is first class service. Honestly, the quality of service at this dealership and gained my loyalty and I will definitely purchase my next vehicle from them.

Initial sales experience was very positive. Good service from sales person at the pre-owned store. Service center has had good service as well until I tried to use the pre-paid maintenance plan. The finance person made a big push on the value of purchasing this plan and how it would save money, but it expired so fast there was no value in it. Beware of the finance department and all the extras they push. As noted by other reviews, these are not worth anything. I would avoid this dealership and their sales tactics.

I brought my BMW here at end of June when the Low Oil Pressure light came on. They had it for 17 days and ended up charging me just under $2000 to fix a number of items. When I brought it home I noticed it was leaking coolant. I called had to bring it back in to have the line fixed. Even though it was not leaking coolant before I brought it in, they charged me another almost $700 to replace the line but told me they were doing me a favor in not charging labor. Once I got it back from this second time I was driving just a few days later and the Low Oil Pressure light came back on. I contacted my service advisor letting her know. After they had it a few days the service advisor called to tell me I would need to replace the engine for $12,500 because of an oil pump failure. When I asked how this was not caught on the first visit for the very same light that went off, I received no answers. I was told she would get back to me. It has now been almost three weeks and I have yet to receive any straight answer. I just spoke with her again and when I pushed why this is not covered under the extended warranty that I purchased. I was told because it was not the timing chain. I said the engine is covered under the extended warranty. Still no answers. She did tell me that a tech would be willing to buy it off of me for $1,000 as if he was doing me a favor and not trying to screw me over as their company is. I am shocked by the service I have received. I am a single woman who works for a non profit and this car was a gift. I do not have money to throw around. Either way I should not be treated this way. I called and left a message for the service manager and he has not returned my call either. I will not be purchasing a bmw and I highly highly recommend not working with this dealership.

Wasnt the greatest. So I get the car shortage - but you cant at least drive me home? - no I am waiting out front for an Uber for like 20 minutes - you promise loaner.. even today I got a message that you provide loaners knowing that you dont that dont have cars for them.. that was just a lie. Then pick up -I am left a message asking do require a pick up like its my fault you would need to pick me up but when I call asking can I get picked up next day because I have a work function - just voice mail, and I get NO a response to that either way. Call back again straight to voice mail ask for pick up... again nothing. Finally call the main number they get me a pick up - not the best again 15 minutes was more like 30 and while that is ubers fault - its also yours you choose Uber. Finally my car.. I think every setting was changed even things that made no sense like if the car auto parks and start stops odd for that to be changed. That said I still give 2 stars cause while its likely always over priced (bmw dealer after all) BEFORE this time I had good service.
My Service Advisor (Jose) was extremely helpful and diligent with my concerns. He made sure that I wouldn’t leave until we were both satisfied with the service that was required.
I found this dealer to be straightforward, communicative, and easy to deal with. They performed the work they said, provided a loaner, and made my life easy. The prices are as expected but within reason and this level of service is what defines the bmw experience. Thank you all for a great experience.
Today I had my BMW X4 serviced as it is rolling 100K miles. I was so nervous that there would be a big out of pocket for upcoming services so I was looking to make a move to trade it in - although its been my favorite car of all time. Louis, my service advisor, let me know that there is not a big charge at 100K so I could breathe easier. I had been slightly looking at other cars and maybe switching brands. After today, I realized that buying a car is a one time purchase. Having a service department that I trust is a longer decision. Now I will be looking for a my next BMW! The service was done on time, and everyone was super friendly. The Car Wash they performed also removed all the bug stains that I had in the front of my vehicle, which is greatly appreciated.
The dealership was helpful in diagnosing my coolant and other issue. The dealership gave me a loaner which is great but had my vehicle for up to 6 days. I thought the car should have been repaired earlier. The service advisor and the staff are very kind, knowledgeable, unfortunately with any BMW repair it can be a little costly. I would visit again. The guy who put my hard plates on is the best ever. I think his name is JC. I had to tell his boss about all the great things he is doing. He is one of the best employees ever.
I wanted to give a bad review for my previous scheduled service, last advisor was a terrible communicator and didn’t understand my request at all. But Charles took me this time, and he did an excellent job on informing all the updates, would love to have him as my service advisor in the future visit.
Sadly I have been here a few times, but it’s not so sad each time because of the staff and how easy they makes things to coordinate. I got a windshield repair/replacement warranty with my X5. Came in handy this month. My windshield needed to be replaced. No problem getting in. Everyone is very kind and courteous. Got a beautiful loaner car while my advisor Tim was dealing with the insurance company and the repair. He always texted me on the work progress and answered questions. Got my car few days ago. Looks great!! All clean and ready to go. Highly recommended!!

I have to say that I was impressed with BMW of Austins service center from the time i entered the carport. I was greeted and taken to my service agent and Josh was cheerful and helpful. I was taken to the waiting area and was equally impressed with availability for coffee and comfy seating area. I was less impressed with the glass side table that was broken and my coffee nearly spilled over onto me when i placed my cup on it. I moved the small coffee table to a corner for safety and a young female came over to me and told me not to move the furniture. I mentioned that it was broken and nearly caused hot coffee to spill on my leg and it did appear to be a safety hazard, especially if a child were to put a hand on it. She did not seem to understand and told me i know it is broken and placed it near another black chair in the waiting room. The other guest waiting with me were equally surprised by the blatant disregardfor our collective concerns for safety. We asked for see the manager and she replied there isnt one. This was an unfortunate way to be treated as a guest and as someone who was thinking for safety. I would have given five stars otherwise.

Ask for James, he was the first truly no pressure car salesman Ive ever met in my life. He is helpful and knowledgeable but lets you make your own decision and think it over. The vehicles are nice and I didnt to have to pry to get these guys to do the things that should be mandatory. They filled the tank, detailed the car. Overall great experience.

Terrible experience. I live in San Antonio and summitted an online trade appraisal and inquiry. A sales consultant by the name of Chris Seaman (5/26/21) reached out and told me he was going to check on a few things and reach back out to me in a couple days (when it was not so busy) and then nothing. One week later he called me again and thought I was someone else and when he realized it was me he told me I am still working on your questions and will follow up soon. I keep getting automated emails from the dealerships but no follow up. I would certainty look elsewhere if your looking for a top notch online experience with a BMW dealership.
Luis was a very professional service agent. He got my X5 in quickly to have the battery replaced and the computers reset. My X5 was returned to me cleaner than when I arrived.

Had a iDrive controller issue and found the parking camera (on the left door) is slightly misaligned on my wife’s 2021 X5. So dropped by the service on Saturday to check. Amanda helped and arranged repairs and explained this could takes 2-3 days because they may need a part shipped from HQ. About 2-3days later, BMW fixed the problems under the warranty, as expected. The things I like is the quality of work and the daily updates on the repair process. Appreciated the way of good communication.

Ive been there many times before. However, the last service was great! I worked with Jose Fernandez, and he was exceptional. He recalibrated my window at no cost, reset my oil change reminder, and showed me a lot of tricks for my car. I strongly recommend that you ask to work with him. It will be worthwhile.

I Bought my new BMW X7 m50i last week. The first time we walked in to the showroom till we took delivery, the entire process was smooth. There was no press to buy car. We went on 5/18 for looking at available options and brought the car home on 5/22. Troy from Sales and Joshua from finance were super cool and made the process breeze. Ill definitely recommend this showroom and team to others.

I visited the facilities here at Penske BMW of Austin and was really impressed. The amenities are superb. Im a new owner and was surprised but the BMW and Penske product are exceptional so definitely its to be expected.Recently I had service done there and was very thankful for the additional services provided for me at no additional cost. I did have a concern and the service department manager contacted me to insure the concern was rectified. I did notice that they do have a secured fenced area where cars are sometimes placed and the service manager assured me that it is policed routinely. I was even able to pick up my vehicle after hours. Im so glad I get this service with the product I purchased. I now see what set BMW apart.Glad to have a BMW facility like this near me!
