Awesome bookstore! So many books and so much varieties of genres! From cook books to childrens book to adult fiction books! Good prices and this bookstore is super huge. Its 3 stories! Youre bound to come out with at least 1 book in your hand. Its a great place to bring your kids since theres basically 1 staircase thats all kids books and fiction books! You can spend hours in there!

Lilia Rosas, the caretaker of La Resistencia, is AMAZING. Grateful to have places like this in our community. There’s nowhere else like it. 💞

Most people I know love this bookstore, but I am not terribly impressed. They dont have much on sale often and I find its kind of dirty and the aisles get crowded easily. I think primarily I am just fixated on the dirt.

I love this place because it unabashedly sells books about topics that are not found that easily even in Austin. The store also hosts author/activist talks from time to time which I find both vital and interesting. From what I understand, this is a volunteer run store and its more like a collective effort. The titles confront everything you thought you knew about history and makes you think, really think about the history and current plight of the cultures represented there.

They have great selection of books.

Its a nice place to browse a collection of Harvard oriented texts - with a strong showing from the HBS press. Other than that its just one of the many clean well appointed Resistencia Books!

This bookstore has an amazing selection of books you wont find anywhere else in Austin. If you are looking for titles on the NY Times list then skip this place.

The only resistance youll find here is a locked door. Its always closed all three times Ive stopped by.
