The staff were so friendly and helpful. I popped in to pick up a few small gifts. There is a lot going on I. inside, so take your time and see what tiny treasures you may find. Will definitely return and I would much rather support a small local business than a big chain store!

So many things I love about Enlightened Baby! First and foremost is the expertise and kindness of the staff. They are welcoming and knowledgeable at every stage - nursing mamas, potty-training, first foods - theyve got you covered. Second, all the beautiful (and often local, always safe!) toys, gear, clothing. For a small store, they carry everything my baby needed and now meeting the needs of my toddler - fun things for my big kids too! So easy to support local when the store is this great!

The products are top notch quality. Love that they use local artisans for some items too. The staff is extremely helpful (especially during a pandemic). They went above and beyond with helping us purchase a booster seat. And we love the booster seat, the absolute best and mom friendly booster out there. I love knowing that this is mom owned business with products that they use for their own families.

This store is absolutely INCREDIBLE for all things baby. All products are top quality, and the only store in town I know that carries my babys formula. The first time I shopped there, Michelle helped me sift through all of the things I needed to buy for the baby we found out we would be adopting the very next day! She spent hours helping me figure out what I needed. They even let us buy their floor model glider for his nursery and its still one of the things I treasure most. They are truly wonderful people with the very best inventory!

I have to say I was very impressed with the store. The location is in a wonderful place with great parking, and walking up you can see the cutest things in the windows. You can tell when you walk in they really pride their business on presentation and quality of their products. The ladies who work there are attentive and were really there to help me with all the questions I had! I really enjoyed looking through everything and picking out everything that I wanted for my precious god baby. We even stayed and chitchatted with the owner for a little while. Absolutely LOVE Enlightened Baby! After doing a lot of research, I finally purchased a Veer cruiser and accessories. I purchased from their website as I dont live local. They shipped the accessories to me right away but the cruiser was delayed a couple of times with the manufacturer. Not only did EB keep me updated the entire time, they also gifted me another accessory for the inconvenience which was no fault of theirs. Whitney and her staff are wonderful and I cannot recommend them enough!

I cant believe what a scam the store is, with blatantly false advertising and ridiculously high shipping charges. On the site, there is an advertisement for Culinary Accessories Stainless Steel Spoon-Straws that were on sale from $14.99 to $4.99. The picture shows 4 straws and the description uses the plural of straws, so I ordered 2 sets, only to receive just 2 straws. With shipping charges, it was almost $18. A comparable set of 4 straws on Amazon is $14.95, so I considered it a bargain, but when ONLY 2 straws arrived, I was furious. I contacted the store for a return/refund, only to find out that I would have to pay an additional $8 in return shipping. Altogether, I would end up with ZERO straws and Id be out $16, so I canceled the RMA. Its a crazy scam. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE MONEY!

Enlightened baby is awesome! A few months back, I placed a large order from a few states over. They confirmed stock over the phone and whatever they didnt have, they shipped to me directly from the vendor. I made a HUGE mistake and didnt realize Chrome prefilled my shipping address with an address from one of my consumers which was saved as a pre-filled address. I use my phone daily for work. I panicked like crazy but immediately left a message and emailed Enlightened Baby that night and they got back to me the very next morning and corrected the error. Total relief and the best part was that my order was delivered within a few days. Amazing!!! Recommend 100%.

This is a great store our family found years ago and we are lucky to have it in Austin in such a convenient location. The folks who work here know about having kids because they have kids and raise families. They offer great advice on what you need and dont need and have a great selection of items (including baby cloths made by local companies (which I say we dont need but advocate to buy) and hard to find formulas). My wife and I have come here to purchase items for our first and second child as well as to buy gifts for friends and family. Come see one of the businesses that makes Austin so great - you wont be disappointed!

Did the complimentary cloth diaper class a couple months prior to newborn. Great class with great information. Even covered options that they don’t even sell in store. Just returned our set of infant rentals. Great experience and totally worth the money. The class gave us the confidence in trying cloth diapers and the rental availability gave us the cost effective convenience. The cloth diapers came clean and worked great. Everyone in the store we dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly. Just spent the deposit on the remaining stock of one size cloth diapers. Great place, very helpful employees and great information available.

Absolutely love this store! I dont write a lot of reviews for places, but I feel obliged to because I like this place so much. I have a 6 month old and this is one of my favorite places to buy anything for him. Heres why:The staff are really helpful.The location is very central.Their selection is large, but everything there seems very thoughtfully selected - a lot of sweet, soft, well-made clothes, wooden toys, organic baby stuff, cloth diapers, baby stuff from European brands, things made out of recycled plastics, locally made baby stuff, etc.They have a sweet store cat lazing around that you can love on :)BUT my favorite thing is the prices! Okay, their prices arent CHEAP because they dont sell cheap, crappy baby stuff - rather the contrary, its all really nice and well made, and thus more on the middle/higher end of cost. But, their prices match online prices! Im serious. Almost everything they have there, Ive Googled to check the price on Amazon/Target/similar. Some of the stuff they sell cant be found online (even better!), but of the things you can find, their in-store price is within about $1 of online prices - sometimes cheaper, often the exact same. Plus you get to support an awesome local business. Whats not to like? Go here if you or a loved one is expecting or has a baby, you wont be sorry :)p.s. I know it sounds like it, but I swear I dont work here! I just really like supporting locally owned small businesses, and if youre going to buy something anyway, why not buy local and support them?

We’re out of towners but I saw they carried all of the nuna strollers and car seats. I have a disability that makes weight, button placement, and ease of use very important when choosing my stroller system. The woman who helped me go through all of the options was so patient and knowledgeable, even though we were not buying today. We haven’t bought anything for baby yet but this store had such cute stuff we couldn’t help it. My boyfriend found a onesie he found hilarious, and I found an organic cotton and wood teething toy. We live in Denver and there aren’t any stores like this! I will be ordering my nuna through the enlightened baby as I know they will be there for my many questions.

During her pregnancy we attended a free cloth diapering class here. It was very informative, and only one other couple went, so we were able to get all of our questions answered. The owner is very passionate about her job, and it shows.You can follow them on Facebook, where you can keep up to date on any sales or promotions going on.They have a great selection of diapers and accessories here. Yes, items are pricier here, but you have to remember that you are buying good quality items that will last a good while (if you take care of them), and you can definitely find some good deals here, as well.My wife and I still pop in here from time to time, now that our son is 4 months old. We recently purchased a carrier. They let us try them on, which helped a ton in deciding which one to purchase. Definitely recommend this place to others!

Oh my gosh, how I wish this place was available to me when I was pregnant! It was amazing to go into The Natural Baby Company and see everything (and more!) that I had to special order and go out of my way to search for when I had my son. They have brands like Ergo, Beco, Boon, cloth diapers, furniture, classes, etc. Whitney, the owner was the nicest when I popped in the other day to check it out! They also sell pregnancy and ovulation tests for a dollar a piece! If youve ever taken one of these, you know how awesome that is! They do a registry also, which as soon as Im pregnant with number two, well be utilizing! Austin, take advantage of this place. You dont know how lucky you are to have this all in one place! Also, they take the Go Local card...awesome.

Happened to walk by with the wife and kiddo and noticed this nice little store. Were expecting, and previously cloth diapered our first kid. So, we saw the name Natural Baby Company and said that place has to sell cloth diapers. Guess what? They do! Very helpful staff. They were even giving a class to one lady on how to do the whole cloth diapering. I know this doesnt really factor into the equation on whether or not it was a good store, but any place that has Led Zeppelin playing Ill usually be spending my money at. From the excellent customer service to the amazing selection of beautiful items, Enlightened Baby is the place to go if you are looking for a fun and productive shopping trip. Their complimentary gift wrap and excellent suggestions (complete with price ranges) is an extra bonus if youre looking for a gift for a little one or mama to be. Ive purchased quite a few things from Enlightened baby including lunch box and water bottles, diapers, cloth diapers and wipes, Ubbi pail, nursing pillow, tinctures, nursing bras and tanks, loads of ADORABLE baby clothes, awesome no-slip baby shoes, beautiful hand dyed blankets and clothes, a swing that has paid for itself so many times over in easy nap starts, many many many toys and plenty of other things both for my family and others. I have been 100% happy with my purchases and always received excellent customer service in the event I got home and realized I bought too big or too small. Whitney, the owner has great taste and I love her commitment to great products that are also focused on being good to our planet and our bodies. After 3.5 years I will be moving away from Austin but will always have this store on my list of places to visit when Im in town!
