I called with a problem on an old car and talked to Don. He was super polite and professional. His labor quote was very competitive. I ended up not needing to bring the car there as a friend is helping me with the job, but I would have felt very comfortable trusting the car to this shop.

Took my 99 4Runner for a water pump replacement. I choose them because I felt like they gave me a honest quote and the fact they used OEM parts. They were done on time and charged me less than the quote since they didn’t need to replace any belts. The manager was upfront with me about what future repairs would need to happen as well as what looked like had already been replaced and wouldn’t need to replaced anytime soon. Saved me $100+ in spark plug replacements. Highly recommend and I know I’ll be using them again for any work I need done.

Don was professional and provided quick, affordable service. We paid $65 in labor to have 1 oxygen sensor replaced. We had the part already so everything took less than 45min. Highly recommend. 👌🏽

Don and his crew were very professional and delivered my daughters CR-V back to us on time and in tip-top shape. We initially took our CR-V to First Texas Honda for a quote on the A/C not working. First Texas Hondas quote was significantly higher than the quote and the resulting final bill we got from Luu. Great mechanical diagnosis and work at reasonable price for an almost 20 year trailblazer

Went several times to Luu Auto Repair with various issues - SRS lights on dashboard, seat buckle problem, worn front brakes. Every time I got positive results at much lower quote than other mechanics in the area. I also received some good recommendations that saved me several hundred dollars. As somebody who moved to Austin few years ago and didnt have much friends to recommend me a good mechanic, I was trying to find a place where I dont feel like I am getting ripped off. And this place perfectly fits my expectations. Definitely recommend this place and have no problem to share my review with others, since I feel like this place deserves it. This is my choice#1 in Northern Austin area and definitely will go back there again if I need any car help.

Best review is to say I keep coming back to this place. Quick great service. Have never felt that they try to get extra out of me. Don is very good at telling me what he sees and gives me options from cheapest to most expensive and then he gives me what he would do if it were his car. Don’s very personable and easy to speak to and deal with. All in all, keep coming back because the work and prices are great!

Luu automotive always fix my car fast, right, and without it costing very much. You cannot always understand them, but you can always trust them. The turn around is usually within the same day, unless they have to wait on parts. This is one of the only auto shops where I sometimes feel like they did not charge me enough. Totally trustworthy.

Ive used Luus Auto on North Lamar two or three times. Friendly and humble people. My auto problems were fixed both times at a reasonable price. Quick, too. Just about to call em for a transmission problem in my 11 Mustang GT.

Had a rattling noise under the hood. Took it to the dealership originally and had it diagnosed as A/C compressor. Astronomical repair quote, plus I got that greasy feeling that those guys were just taking me for a ride. Found Luus via reviews online and took it in for another opinion. First of all, his diagnostic fee was 1/3 that of the dealership. And he arrived at the same conclusion in 15 minutes. His quote was much more reasonable (A/C compressor repair isnt cheap no matter where you go), but his labor rate was manageable and a lot of it was parts anyways. Plus the feeling of trust that hes not ripping you off is worth 100s. He took the car in same day and it was completed the following afternoon. The car is running/sounding great again, parts are brand spankin new, and he even checked a few other items I had mentioned free of cost (whichhe said they were fine and didnt try to sell me anything extra)! I will be taking my car back to Luus for all its needed service and will be recommending his shop to everyone.

I love Luu Auto. I asked people on Facebook where to get some A/C work done on my wifes Altima. A friend highly recommended Luus shop. Lucky for me its right around the corner. I can walk back to work and pick my car up later.I feel like these people are very honest. I have never gotten that typical phone where they tell you, Oh turns out your flux capacitor is out, Thatll be 9k. Anyway I now take both of our cars there. Its not free, but the prices are affordable and fair.
