Have shopped here for decades and can look around our house and see lots of things I bought there. A lace tablecloth I bought for $2 and recently made into valences in our guest room. Some footed glassware that is the perfect size for after dinner sherry. Cream soup bowls with saucers that I would never have even looked for but perfect for a first course soup. Love this uniquely Austin event.

I love, love, love this show! Not a garage sale, but some of the best vintage shopping in town. Before I actually started coming here, I figured that it would be only expensive, or overpriced antiques but I have found some of the best bargains, ever, at this show! A bargain hunters paradise. My house is almost completely furnished from here. Not to be missed!

The city wide garage sale is a lot of fun. We went on a Saturday and the center was full of tables and displays, with everything imaginable -- clothes, blankets, costumes, toys, posters, dishware, historical items, books, nostalgia like baseball cards, odds and ends. If you dont see what you want, ask and an announcement will be made -- many of the vendors also have booths in area antique malls and may have the item somewhere else. Note that there are fees for parking and entering. Park like a pro - cross over to the side of the garage facing the Long Center instead of fighting the traffic and walkers, then exit toward Riverside instead of Barton Springs.

Great place to find the unique and unusual. Lots of different vendor under one roof. Not a your typical garage sale but all vintage no tube socks here. Lots of fun rain or shine

Not a great flea market. Lots of tables, mostly semi-professionals. A few real dealers with good stuff, a lot of not so interesting things. None of the serendipity of a garage sale, none of the selectiveness of an antique store. Pretty much a waste of time and money.

A fun show with different vendors everytime. The city charges for parking, the show has no control over this. Your admission is good for both Saturday & Sunday. You never know what treasure you might find here.

Went to the 25-26 January 2014 City Wide Garage Sale at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, TX. Parking was $ 7.00 and the entrance fee was $ 6.00 per person, children under 12 for free. If you have kids dont bring a stroller. There is no room whatsoever to park it as you look at all the stuff. Lots of great stuff to look and buy. Furniture wise, Id say youre not really getting a deal. Ill definitely be returning when it returns to Belton.

$5 dollars to get in, the City-Wide (huge) Garage Sale is held once a month in the Palmer Events Center and is one of my favorite long-standing events. If you like browsing vintage and/or bartering for a great sale this here was created just for you. Bring a friend of a similar shopping-persuasion along for the ride.

I love the CIty-Wide Garage Sale! I actually just ended up going randomly one day with a friends sister, and ended up having a great time looking around. You pay $10 to get in, and you get to look around peoples different booths of interesting things. Clothes, Old timey gear, rock n roll equipment, all for good prices! Havent had the chance to go since, but one day soon!

I really liked this, but I wish they would stop letting people who are actually antique dealers rent out massive sections just to show off 900 dollar items. Its a garage sale, not an antique dealer showcase. Still, you can find a couple good deals here.

What a rip off, not a garage sale, more like a collection of thrift stores or an overpriced flea market. After wasting $27 (Apparently paying extra for arriving before 10 am)for 2 people get in, was very dissappointed to find everything priced at the high end of retail. Unless you have money to burn, better off going to estate sales and regular flea markets. Also its mostly antiques and collectibles. There were no electronics, video games, or computers which was what we were looking for. But if you want to pay $1 for a 10 cent penny, this is your place.

You can get some great finds for a good discount. two down sides, cash only (for most places) and nowhere to try on clothes! so bring cash and wear something that you can slip stuff over and under :)

Not as big as I thought, and the parking is too expensive, plus entry fee make it not so worth it. I found one cute thing, though

Its basically a collection of thrift stores. There isnt actually all that much stuff there and the cover charge means you are probably going to lose out overall.
