In June of 2020 I contacted Negril Antiques to inquire about an armoire they had on their website. I received a warm, detailed response from Cathy very promptly. Over the course of a month or two, she and Pierre patiently answered any question I had and provided photos to illustrate their answers. It is hard to spend thousands of dollars online with strangers, but when I felt comfortable making an offer, we were able to negotiate a fair price. They provided shipping information from several carriers, but my husband and I decided we would drive to Texas to pick it up ourselves. I was astounded by how beautiful the armoire was when we arrived at their shop. It was exactly as they described it, even better! Their kind assistant Chad, Pierre, and my husband did a terrific job getting the armoire safely loaded into our covered trailer. Cathy was there to meet us. It was a perfect experience, and we get to enjoy this gorgeous armoire every day. I never get tired of looking at it. It is wonderful to have a 19th century piece of history in my home and know exactly which city in France it came from and some of its own history. Cathy and Pierre travel to France to visit his mother and find treasures to ship home on these visits. Im so glad to have found this armoire and Negrel Antiques.

The interior design firm that I work for sourced a gorgeous Louis XVI style enfilade from here and our client is over-the-moon happy with her new piece. Not only does Kathy Negrel ensure that the clients are happy, but shell also give you the most attentive, informative, and detailed order process updates a designer could ask for. It made the transaction from start to finish such a breeze, even with the piece having to be delivered half-way across the country! I purchased a gorgeous piece of furniture at Negrel. It was so delightful to work with Karn and Pierre from the moment I purchased the piece up to the day it was delivered, making sure I was happy and that the delivery went smooth. In this day and age it is wonderful to experience integrity at the retail level. Would definitely purchase from them in the future!

While shopping for a Christmas present for a friend, I stumbled upon an incredible antique mezzaluna at Négrel Antiques. My wife and I are both nuts for kitchen gadgets, so it seemed like a logical choice to add to our collection. The owner, Cathy, showed me the unique characteristics of the carved handle and also pointed out that the blade was recently sharpened, indicating that this piece was still functional - so cool! My transaction was smooth and effortless and Cathy mentioned a few other things we might enjoy around the city. As a native, I was genuinely surprised to have never heard of Tuba Christmas o.OI will definitely shop here again if I am in the market for an antique or vintage item. There are some stunning pieces of furniture and lighting that are truly remarkable. And Cathy is a gem :D
