Sometimes you can find great deals here on a wide assortment of stuff. When we go, we usually look at the food and snacks. Weve also found some good prices on their home decor – a lot of it is much cheaper than Hobby Lobby and Target and they have a decent selection. They also sometimes have deals online for certain percentages off, so definitely look online before checking out.

It isnt as cheap to shop here as in the past. Still okay to find a few good deals.

The only reason I gave 2 stars was because I could not access the Big Lots website to use my birthday birthday coupon.

Big Lots is great. I could spend hours in this store. I wish they had one in the Valley.

Great customer service

I bought a recliner there in 1/2015. Within 5 months, a bolt and a spring was found on the floor underneath it on the right side. I am not able to close the foot rest on the recliner. I have a manufacturer warranty of 1-5 years. When I called Big Lots, they told me they I only had a 30 day warranty and didnt do repairs. Here I sit with a recliner that Im paying monthly pmts on until January 2016. I have contacted the manufacturer by mail and am awaiting a response. I will never buy furniture from them again. ***Update*** Never received a response from the manufacturer of my chair. Neither Big Lots nor the manufacturer corrected my problem. The chair is paid off and Im stuck with it. People who work there in the furniture dept. are very rude. They will take your money but not honor the warranties. BEWARE!

The cashiers dont even greet you. Its more of a weird/dazed glare. Not even a smile. If youre fine with searching for things on your own then, this is the place for you.

They treat costumers badly. I have bought a TV console 60 inches big with fireplace in Opelika store. They gave us the wrong from their storage. Four items were displayed in a row and we picked 4th one. but they gave us 2nd one. We believed they gave us what we picked. but after my family finished assemble, we realized that it was a wrong item. So then we complained to big lot but they just discounted some and we had to have brought it back to store. This is third time in big lot that a manager makes mistake and a costumer has to take the responsibility.

Its okay. Better if it were a bit cooler inside.
