Its hard to find a good honest mechanic nowadays and luckily I found Downtown Auto Repair. Omar and his crew are great - have had them work on my vehicle on 3 separate occasions and all were exceptional and reasonably priced. You cant go wrong here - I highly recommend!

They have such good reviews I assumed theyd be pleasant honest people. Long story short they charged me 120$ and didnt fix what I asked them to, then they tried to charge me more when I asked them to actually make the repair. Coming here was a waste of time and money, Id strongly discourage anyone from coming here.

Downtown Auto Repair was recommended to me by a good friend and Im glad he did. The owner is always nice and courteous and if you have a question you dont understand the answer to he is happy to explain it to you. Everyone I have encountered here has been friendly and eager to help me. This is a great place to take your vehicle to.

Went to downtown auto repair today for an oil change, and was happy to see a new face behind the front desk. The new person at the front desk Omar was incredibly professional and kind. He definitely made me wanna keep bringing my business here. Highly recommend :)

Over-priced service. Took car in for tune up, oil change and transmission filter replace. Once initial service was done, more problems arose. Took it back and they said they would charge me again even though it was their fault. They recommended all new set of work that will cost thousands and promised estimates for all the new repairs needed. However, no estimate was ever given. They are slow and dont really know what they are doing.

This place is where we always take our car. They are very professional and always do a good job. We took our car in the other day because it wouldnt start. They quickly repaired it, and to our surprise there was no charge due to a two year warranty from them replacing our engine last year. That was great news, and it showed that they are honest. Another time, we had water leaking it from our sunroof, and they vacuumed it up for us. I highly recommend this place.

Incredible customer service. I consistently felt like a priority to them. It was super easy to call and make an appointment to bring my car in. After taking it in, they assessed My Jeep Libertys issues quickly and called me. They were always clear and patient with my questions and when Id ask them to repeat something. My favorite part is how fast the service was (They are already done!?).They dont accept checks-which is something that wouldve been nice if I really didnt want to put such a large purchase on a card. But it makes sense that they dont accept check. Their quotes Id say are average. Nothing astronomically high or a mind blowing deal. Just average. But its customer service and trust that matters most.One complaint I have is the way the interior of my car smells like after getting it back. It smells like a giant sharpie exploded in my car. Or like a skunky polish smell. Not the worst smell, but its just really strong and I really dont understand why it is like that. If it doesnt go away after a while I may call them and ask whats up with that.Otherwise, they will get my business again and Ill recommend to others! Thank you.

These guys were A+ when it comes to Quality, There very strait forward and get right down to business, My alternator went out on my Dodge Challenger R/T and had to be towed to the shop😥 But they gave me a fair price on the alternator which by itself costs 400$ (alternators for challenger rts arent cheap) which is how much they normally cost plus I got an oil change. In total it cost 788.99 which is a very fair price considering other shops wanted 1100.00 just to put in a new altenator, Plus they Warrant all there work for 2 Years and on your second visit you get 50%! These guys were just great!😀 (5 star service).

My car was taken in before the appt. time and was done ahead of schedule. They were very honest about the increased price based upon the fact that my vehicle takes 8 plus quarts of oil. They have done great work both times I’ve been there!!

Went in to have my code checked. Turns out that it was a simple relearn of the PCM as I had just cleaned the throttle body. Tech was professional and quickly looked at car even though they were very busy. Good service, would reccomend.

I called quite a few places to have my heater core replaced, they were very reasonable and friendly. Price I was quoted was the final total. Job was completed within the time window.. An hour early if Im being critical. Im usually a DIY person, and very skeptical of auto shops. When I picked up my truck they showed me the old heater core, which I really appreciated. I have had the truck back for a few weeks now, and its working like a champ, and feel very confident and happy with the job they did. I will be back for additional service if needed, and would recommend these folks for sure.

Edit: they put the wrong gasket on the oil filter housing, supposed to be round, theirs had flat edges, and they tried to say it was the oil pan..explains the constant leaking.
