I received the best customer service experience ever from Roland while searching for and purchasing my first Shinola watch. I live in North Carolina so the whole process took place in the phone and via email. I was looking for a very specific model that was sold out and out of stock online and in store. But Roland found me the last one. It was at another store in their character program. He had it moved to his store, took pictures for me, kept in constant contact with me, never rushed me to but or make a decision. He even put the watch on hold for me so I could think about it for a couple of days before deciding if I wanted to purchase the watch. Yesterday my watch arrived and it is even more amazing in person than in pictures. It arrived in a stunning box with a handwritten note from Roland. I am extremely impressed with Rolands level of professionalism.

I went in today just to look (Ive always wanted a Shinola watch), all the sales people were incredibly friendly without being pushy, let me browse on my own. Once they could tell I was really interested in some specific models, they revisited me to have me try them on. I fell in love with one specifically, bought it, had the wristband engraved with my initials (no extra charge). They were having a sale and I got a much better deal than I was expecting. Honestly it was a great experience and I am glad I finally went through with getting one!

Kristen was the girl that helped me pick out my second Shinola watch, she showed me all kinds of different styles and was super attentive! Absolutely love the brand will definitely be back for more!!

The ladies that work here are so knowledgeable, professional and helpful. This store is better than the one in Somerset. I love my watch and luggage tag.

Purchased a Shinola watch this past weekend for my dads birthday and could not be happier with the experience. Extremely friendly staff, great selection, incredible prices. Will be back up here soon to purchase another!

If you are looking for a fantastic Shinola experience that will save you hundreds, please visit this outlet location. I was warmly welcomed and assisted throughout the entire process. The mens watches start at $200 and womens watches start at $150. There are about 5 styles of each at this price. The associate on the phone was even nice enough to text me a picture of the styles before I made the hour and a half drive. Its a wonderful value and they have an array of classic designs to choose from. All purchases at the outlet come with the Shinola lifetime warranty as well. They even offer free gift wrapping! My boyfriend was in complete denial that I had only spent $200 on his birthday watch. I had to show him the receipt for him to believe me! You get a 30 day return policy (you can return at ANY of the Shinola locations, not just the outlet) and a 90 day exchange policy. There is absolutely no way I would suggest spending $550+ when someone can get one here 50-60% off.

Customer service offered at this store does not match the luxury status of the products. One star for this store- not for Shinola as a whole.

Great store and Product is high quality. I recently picked up one from the Troy store. Only reason I did not get one here is they did not have the right color. Staff was prompt, informational and very friendly.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to feel classy and professional. I am a car salesman and I have had multiple compliments from wearing this. It is honestly as good as all the higher end brands I feel from a customer perspective. I read the negative reviews here and think they are bogus to be honest.

I will start off by saying that I love Shinola design language and quality of goods. I will also start off by saying that I believe just about everything Shinola makes is about 2x the price it should be.Enter the Shinola Outlet. First off, it has the same atmosphere and general layout as the the mid-town flagship store does. Next, the prices are better than I thought they would be. Generally speaking, goods were about 30-50% off of retail. So, really, when I looked at watches that were as low as $200 I thought Finally! Reasonable prices! I bought my mom a nice watch as a mothers day gift and started looking for stuff for myself. My friend had to drag me out of the store because I was ready to buy just about everything. I will say that the staff seemed to wear plain clothes, so I actually had no idea who worked there or not, but they were very friendly and knowledgeable.With friendly staff, great atmosphere and great prices, in my mind, this is THE Shinola store to come to.

The customer service at this in particular is on point!! Ive used shinola many times for cute little mongrammed gifts and this is the perfect spot to get them from, even with COVID! Sam (I believe shes the manager) goes above and beyond for customers. Thank you!!

Went today and was pretty disappointed in the Discounted mens watch selection. Looked to be about 6 watches offered at a slight discount...almost the same as the price online. They had an abundance of full price watches. So I wouldnt call it an outlet if youre looking for mens watches. The womens section was better, especially if youre looking for a purse at a discount. Also, sales person had no clue about what the prices were on some items. Seemed like he was guessing. Im guessing due to the popularity they have scaled back their discounts on mens watches.

I have strong feelings both ways about coming into the store here. I really tire of the pounce mentality of most retail locations: The obnoxious status checks. Saying hello in retail really means dont steal our stuff. We had to say that because you look poor. Asking to join some rewards or spam program is also awful. However... I cant really seem to get my questions answered. What is this leather treated with....Can I get a cuff style band custom made? ...... The service level simply doesnt reflect the price point.Why bother?

I shopped here twice in the last month. All Shinola locations are great and this outlet does not disappoint. With the exception of not having a coffee shop, everything is high standard. Jacob W was a great help and Lexxus’ customer service exceeded expectations. I will be purchasing another watch from this location again.

Amazing watches customer support non existent employee’s looked at me and my girlfriend and just talked to each other and laughed never asked if we needed help for anything just talked and laughed with each other So we left after 15 minutes and bought watches from mavado so shinola lost our business for good but nice watches none the less

The first few times I went in this store it was a hit or miss with their customer service but when I went in today for the third time the staff this time was amazing so I raised the review one star.

Love that it is Detroit based, but unimpressed with handling of my return. Purchased purse with no magnetic closure which is now approriately made with magnetic closure. Some of staff uninformed of new improvement and would not do even exchange. Wanted extra 100 dollars. Who pays full price at outlet mall
