This used to be a decent place to get old sometimes cool clothes for cheap. Now they’re banking on the reputation that they’re the ‘cool’ place for transplants and OTPers to come shop and feel like they’re atlanta hipsters, and are price gouging everyone. They’re selling used Nikes for $100. Used. For $100. If you want old clothes just save your money and go to value village or another real thrift store.
I had a great experience selling here recently with the buyer Tyra! This is the go-to place to recycle your clothes in Atlanta.
Used to be the best place to pick up good quality used shoes & clothes for a reasonable price but they have surely lost their way.Items are way overpriced for what they are. Staff is friendly enough.
2 stars is all they get because some of the staff was nice and helpful. DO NOT try to sell your stuff unless you are basically giving it away for free. They give you 30% of what they would sell it for. A Gucci/Supreme bag I brought in, they would sell for $80 and I’d get virtually pennies for it. Ridiculous in my opinion because 70% is a little greedy!! Not to mention, they entire process took over 3 hours!!! I would NEVER go back!!
Great items but extremely expensive. They used to be much cheaper and one of my fav places to shop, but not anymore. Today I was there for 3 hours and it wasn’t worth it at all … I will stick to platos closet, and thrifting
It was nice, the employees were so kind and I got what I wanted and was out in a flash.
Cool customer service and lots of different clothes to choose from will come back again
The fitting rooms are closed and you can only return items for in-store credit within 2 days of sale. They have cute stuff that I wanted to buy but its not worth my time shopping there because of the very strict return policy.
Thrifty, eclectic, scouts will be pleased with huge ops and the location. Out of state visitors loved the location in Little Five Points. Lots of people in and out during the hour I was acting as a tour guide. A large array of the unique and practical under one roof. Pay to park. Lots of shops and things to do are just around either corner.
The place has a little bit of everything from costumes to laptop covers to incense to cheeky greeting cards. There are also succulents and basically lots of random stuff but there is order. The only thing I would say is dont go in there thinking stuff is going to be cheap, because its not. Its a hipster thrift store...Its nice to walk around and get lost in all the stuff.
I love this place. For my 1st visit to Atlanta from the UK, I mentioned to my partner that I wanted to go to a few charity shops and he brought me here. This is not a charity shop like the ones you have in the UK. This place you can sell your unwanted items and they will resell them. It had a great array of different items. If you go to Little Five Points, visit this store you will not be disappointed.
The employees were very friendly and the store has an okay selection of items. However, because the prices are so high youd do better to buy new. Example, 2 pairs of used vans that were over $60.
The selection is good but for used clothing I would expect things to be slightly cheaper. For example they were trying to sell a used pair of converses for 40 bucks when you can get a brand new pair for 60. $15 t-shirts are an okay deal, though I know plenty of online stores sell new t-shirts for that price as well.
Very rude here. They have no public bathrooms, and we walked in, and they searched my cousins bag for no reason at all. Ive never heard of a store searching a bag upon entry, it made no sense. It was a thin shopping bag. I think they just did it since she was a girl that shopped at another store. Not only that, then they seized her bag and said she can get it at the end. What gives them the right to seize your bag. They gave her a numbered clothespin and rudely gave it back at the end. Do not go here, they will mistreat you.
Due to Covid restrictions, only 8 sellers are allowed in the store at a time. That means they will only sort 8 bins at a time, then they allow the next 8 to enter. It’s not that 1 can leave and 1 can enter type deal. So be prepared to wait outside for a hot minute if you’re selling. 25 shoppers are allowed in at once. Buying counter is open Monday-Saturday 11-1. Closed Sunday. Excellent service and they are very transparent about their offer/resale pricing!! Love Rag-o-Rama!!!
Poor service. Only 3 people outside and had us wait over 30-40 mins
Every time I go there’s always an issue.
I see the same clothes for 90 percent less in thrift stores.
Slowest process. Seems a little unprofessional. They allowed a young girl to work in a bikini top.
I used to shop here back in 2015-16 &the prices were way cheaper not only that it seem like they only pay you $8 for each item...how yall gonna offer me $25 for some only worn once McQueen Alexander..waist of timeThen they wrote a check ughhhh
Just go to an actual thrift store and you will find way better deals. I used to shop here all the time but their prices have gotten so high that you might as well just go buy brand new clothes for a few bucks more. Also tried to sell here many times and they almost always hardly take anything.
Very cute clothes! New or really great condition for great price! 50% store credit or 30% return on your recycled clothes! I love this place! I will be visiting again!
Worst experience. Had to wait outside in 40 degree weather. I understand we in a pandemic but gosh...they should find a way to accommodate customers so we dont freeze. Aside from that the clothing selection was subpar. The staff was nice but very difficult to hear the cashiers through mask and plexiglass. They need to talk loader.
This place is essentially goodwill but everything costs essentially what it would cost new. You are basically buying used clothes for 3/4 the price of what it would cost to go buy them new. The staff here is incredibly rude. I have a medical condition which prevents my from being able to wear a mask and everyone here treated me incredibly poorly. I will not be revisiting this establishment.
Love it!!!! So much to see I stay for hours lol They also buy your unwanted items. Definitely recommend
Nice Lil slide for prewarn items!
Friendly, nice selection, buy and sale different types of trendy items.
I was shocked to find high prices and low quality, used clothing. Maybe it is some kind of money laundering operation. How do they stay in business? It is not a real thrift store. Do not bother!
Buying or selling, its the best in their field, 100 times better then the competition, also has a 45 min wait for selling, which is not a min longer They have all the name brands ever created, from the shoes, to the belts, to the shades, bag, and even the Keychain. High end fashion, limited quality clothing, and Great vintage items, buying, selling, or trading, this is the place to be if your so fresh and so clean!!!
I have so much stuff from this place! they only take stylish items in good condition so u can always find something. & when i bring stuff in to sell them theyre careful when they pick the items. i trust their quality. its a bit more expensive than most thrift stores but its worth it
Since Covid-19, the fitting rooms are closed, and they only offer store credit for returns. The used clothing store does not make this policy clear when buying items.
Good selection and fun to browse / try on funky pieces to see if you can pull them off vs let it go. have occasionally also foudnd high end designer items in here are good prices.
I know Ill always find something unique and cool here
It was my first time visiting and the store has some very interesting items. Id go back again.
Always love shopping here. I hate that they cut the time to 1pm for selling clothes.
Great store, very well curated used clothes. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.
I love RAG-O-RAMA with all of my heart! Been coming here since I was in highschool, which was 2008. There Indiana location was also pretty cool too. Keep it coming with the awesome threads, yall.
Great funky clothes. They only lose a star because some of their shoe prices are on the outrageous side for being used and/or a few years old. Everything else is dope. Ive found several funky shirts that were great conversation starters there. Theyre always getting new clothes, so its worth it to stop by anytime youre in Little 5.
I was really bummed with the quality of the clothes (excluding dresses). The dress selection is great and the prices are on point. But the tops and pants for sale- are the quality of what you find at Goodwill- for triple the price. I was really hoping to find some cute tops and literally did not want to try anything on. The staff was nice- but for a consignment store, please bump up the quality you accept if you want $20 for a raggedy t-shirt.
I googled a few vintage stores near me and this store popped up. There are a lot of vintage stores in this area but sadly they were already closed. They have the cutest earrings. They were so unique but hardly any clip ons. They also do have very beautiful jackets and shoes. I’m definitely coming back.
Cool music cool people cool clothes great prices.. definitely got 15/16 things including two pairs of shoes for like 130..All in Id say I saved over $400 getting gently used but still fresh and fashionable items.Go here before you go spending all your money elsewhere on slightly newer clothes.Found my new clothing shop!
Love this place. Found an awesome 50s style 👗 that I used for one of my plays. The staff is very helpful and nice. Definitely going back for more. Theres always something new and its pretty cool that you can sell things you dont want.
This store is great to go to for affordable clothes you could find in retail stores. It is very organized, every piece of clothing organized by size and type. if you have never been there be warned its a very fancy thrift store so i would check the clothes before you buy them and wash them before you wear them but try them on also. Although, One thing I did not like about this store was the service. Not only did i feel judged by the customers but i felt judged and inferior to the workers. Overall Im happy about the clothes I bought but I did not like the atmosphere the workers and customers created.
WORST clothing store in Little5points. I went in there with brand new street wear and they turned me down.I feel like they owe me money for wasting my time.
This is a really cool place to sell clothes. They’re very gentle and respectful with the items that you bring in. They only buy/take hipster and vintage pieces, but what they do take, they give you a decent amount of money for it. I have zero complaints about the selling side of this store, but in regards to shopping, their prices are way too high. They seem to not take into consideration that they’re pricing USED clothing at RETAIL pricing. Overall still a great place though. Definitely worth your time to check it out!
Ive been here a few times. Great selection for guys. Very unique clothing of all types. Lots of shoppers looking for Halloween costumes currently. Good service. Reasonable pricing. Some clothing of good quality as well. Does require some searching.
Always a cool shopping experience. They have an interesting mix of secondhand clothes, shoes, and other stuff. Being a secondhand shop, its hit and miss bit when you hit, its usually a cool deal. Good selection of mens shoes and clothes, though majority of selections are womens clothing and a accessories. Very laid back staff-- friendly and helpful.
I have attempted multiple time to sell clothing here and the folks who work here are incredibly rude. the store itself is suppose to sell plus size clothing but don’t prioritize buying plus size clothing, as a result most of their plus size clothing that they sell have stains, rips, and are not in good condition. i have brought in plus size clothes to sell multiple times, all in great condition, some with tags, designer brands, and each time i’ve been turned away and told “it’s not what we’re looking for” while buying clothes from many thin folks who are selling. don’t sell and market for plus size folks if you are not going to honor that. language matters, and when folks in clothing stores are saying that plus size clothes are not what they’re looking for, that is just poor customer service.
Its a nice consignment shop with tons of choices. Everything is seperated nicely and organized. The employees were very nice and great you at the door. You cant walk around the store with any bags, so be sure to check it at the door and you will receive a clip. Enjoy
Your experience here will largely depend on what youre looking for. No, this isnt going to be the kind of place where the workers pour beaming smiles and fawn all over you - it was never meant to be that and never will. The reality is the selection here is just on another level for re-sale stores (I cannot bring myself to equate this establishment to the word thrift). And I actually quite like the staff - theyre still very pleasant and helpful, and the try-on room experience is always something I look forward to. Note: The policy of trading your bag for a numbered pin is very common with shops up and down the Little 5 corridor. Rag-O-Rama is not alone in this - welcome to the neighborhood. This store is a pillar of Little 5, and that should never change.Addition: it has become a running joke now among my coworkers and family that pretty much anything I wear that gets complimented has come from this store.
I recently went here after cleaning out my closet, to sell some clothing I had. 90% of the clothes I brought to rag o Rama were in perfect condition, brand new/still had the tags on them, not to mention labels such as Missguided, pretty little thing, etc. I watched the buyer pick out the items SHE wanted, vs what was in style which was mainly what I had. She lifted my items onto herself as if she was trying them on, literally in front of me. I watched her sift through my items and pick and choose based on her OWN personal taste. As a buyer, you should be very aware of the current trends and styles, not being bias because of your own taste. She even told who I’m assuming was the manager that she wasn’t sure she was making good decisions. I understand that they want to be “edgy” and “cool” and “different” with the items they choose, but we live in Atlanta, where people don’t want to just buy raggedy t shirts and denim at a thrift store. Some people actually enjoy finding rare brand items and more specifically items in GREAT condition. If you have brand new items you’re looking to sell, or items that are Actually IN STYLE don’t bother selling. But if you have raggedy vans and hype beast supreme or superhero t shirts or converse with flowers and birds on them then they will take it!!
Reasonable prices on clothes. They dont accept things that are too worn or that just shouldnt be sold. They give decent prices on your items they buy from you. I always love seeing the new things that come in.
Love some of the vintage clothes they have there, but its a bit hit or miss. I feel like I never go at the right times. Thats mostly my fault. I do find some very good deals on accessories there (which is mostly what I end up leaving with).
Omg!!! This place is AWESOME!! And that word doesnt even does it justice. But if you are.looking for anything unique or you want something different than what everyone else is wearing....then this is THE spot. If you are an artist or creative person this is your spot! Trust me, go and see for yourself!
I got a really awesome, thick peacoat jacket from here for only $22. I was visiting GA from out of state, so you know I would only make the sacrifice of having to trek the coat back through airport security, if this jacket was worth it, and it was! Its gorgeous! It will make a very nice addition to my winter wardrobe when I travel to very cold climates.
Great place to score some unique finds! Not the best place to donate, because their selection is highly curated, so they wont take many times, but its a great place to shop!
One of the best thrift stores in Atlanta. However, they are a bit pricey. The great thing is though, the quality there is not overlooked. So, even if you pay a bit more than you would like to thrifting, this place will take care of you and give you good quality clothing to feel you paid your moneys worth.
Nice vibes.
This store is every Fashion Stylist Dream!!! 😍 I loved it! Their prices were A+ and their unique mixture of clothing would allow you to shop for every personality, including your own! 😃 They even carried a huge selection of mens clothing! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone that wants a better bang for their $$$. Ive already planned my return visit! Thank you Rag-O-Rama!!!! ✨🙏🏽✨
I would not buy from this establishment. They sale fake merchandise and when you call them out on it they won’t even issue you a refund or equal store credit for the item. I do not understand how this businesses is still alive taking advantage of the public like this. DO NOT SHOP AT RAG-O-RAMA!
This is a good thrift store with quite the large stock of brand name items. There are some really good deals, including shoes, but you need to look closely to find them.Without a doubt, many items are ridiculously overpriced. l saw multiple old, beat-up, no-name, pajama-looking shirts with faded prints for $25. Sorry, but thats just laughable; you might as well buy a brand new Adidas or Nike shirt from Foot Locker for such a price. You will, however, find a few things hidden among all the rest that will have knockout prices, and that should make it a worthwhile trip.
A goodwill but, double the prices.
Cool to look at, but SUPER expensive. Also, theres not a lot of plus size availability. Seems like a good place if youre affluent/skinny enough.
Only place I shop for jeans and real Denim. Most retail store have a stretch denim that rips up easily. At Rag, you can find just about any exclusive denim, thats been gently used without the High Price
They should really list the times they stop buying.. After waiting around for someone to help me before 7:30 they then tell me they stopped buying at 7:30.. ..then they have Charlotte Russe shoes priced at $40!! They arent even that expensive new! You do find good stuff sometimes tho
I absolutely love this place. I needed to return a designer belt because I found out it was fake after I went home. they dont allow refunds so I got a little nervous, but after writing the manager about my condition, he gave the same exchange card 3 days later in which I bought the item from in the first place. Fully refunded. I was really happy to see them step up to the occasion Based on my situation. The item selection is fabulous (left with a nice Levis jean jacket that day) and the staff are a pleasure. Im really sad Im moving out of Atlanta this year because this place is truly remarkable
Staff is super cool and friendly. Large selection of clothes.Im up here working on a gig and last minute I needed a long sleeve dress shirt. I had already been to another thrift store and wasnt able to find something I liked. Here, I did and even picked up a really nice lightweight jersey that was too cool to pass up. Prices are higher than typical thrifties, but clothes are top quality to new.
I buy a large portion of my clothes second hand (college student budget, you know), and I always find great options here. I also have traded clothes, and the process was super smooth. I go on a semi-regular basis and the sales are always great!
Super great buys at this place. If you love dumpster diving you will absolutely love this place!!
Loved this place! It was in a perfect location in the center of Little Five Points. Nice deals on trendy clothes. Definitely check it out if youre in the area.
Way better selection and vibe than the one in Sandy Springs. The stuff they buy flies off the shelves instead of collecting dust for months. Thrift stores thrive when the variety of clothing available is as diverse as the people that go there to shop. Forever a favorite.
Got some great sneakers for my son, he loves them and i love the price
Always love the staff, so friendly and helpful. And the clothing selection is great! Will be back, often.
Great place and amazing vibe. One of my favorite places to shop for clothes in Atlanta.RAG-O-RAMA is located at little 5 points a very alternative, Hipster neighborhood of atlanta. The products are like new and with a great price.
I come here often to seek clothing and buy they have the best in Designer and eclectic brands
You know your boy has got to have semi used threads at semi used prices. Word to the soft hoodies and pumping jams. I really talk like this
Rag-O-Rama supports illegal booting practices. They hire a company that is currently facing class-action lawsuits to aggressively boot any and all vehicles in their lot. Booting vehicles on private property in GA is illegal, with the city of Atlanta being an exception providing that the property owners abide by very specific ordinances. Neither EPS nor Rag-O-Rama comes anywhere close to fulfilling the letter of the ordinance, so every single car that is booted on their property has been done so illegally. They of course have every right to protect their private property, but when they choose to use illegal means to boot vehicles that are not in any way impeding their ability to conduct business (especially when vehicles are being booted after hours), then it sends a clear signal that they are more interested in receiving kickbacks from the booting company than they are in being a member of the community.
Love this spot for second hand rags!!!
The environment is nice but the staff is god awful. Was waiting at the desk and the girl completely slipped over us. The fitting room attendant is nice, the clothing is very worn though. I thought they would be slightly used. They look like they are falling apart.
They have a really nice selection! But dont expect their prices to be like typical thrift stores; its a bit more high end so the prices reflect that.
Great thrift store! Really easy to find your size. Prices are a bit high for a thrift store or I would give 5☆
Only browsed but looks like a pretty good place. Prices werent bad either. I didnt buy anything on that particular visit but I plan to return.
Above average thrifting. My wife found some nice stuff.
Thank you for providing sign language interpreters! We truly appreciate it! ~0) Yall from the stage are amazing!!! Wow! ~=0)
Found a very stylish jacket and other nice things while here. This is a very cool place to hunt for bargins and unique items.
My teen daughter does not like shopping, but she loved this place. She was able to find several items at great prices, that fit her style. I would shop there for myself as well, but this trip was specifically for her.
The place was clean the customer service was outstanding but for Second Hand Shop they were a bit pricey on some of their items overall the customer service experience and seeing the different personalities uniquely placed in their own personal attire was astounding I felt a vintage environment as I shopped at rag-o-rama!!! Happy shopping!!
Cultural scene...!!!
Great selection for reasonable prices. There are NO RETURNS so be sure to try everything on. Staff is very stylish as well and the music in the store is ALWAYS jamming.
Great place. More quailty items then a thrift store. Staff was great and friendly. Some unique clothing.
Great options but the prices dont always make sense.
Selling at this particular rag is a mess. I’ve tried twice to sell at this location and each time there was some crazy occurrence. First of all you have to be in a very desperate position to sale anything to them because they offer the worst amount of money for your items, I suggest going to buffalo exchange on Ponce De Leon before wasting your time here. My second time trying to sell to them was so frustrating. They let two people cut in front of me, and these two people had a lot of items, so I spoke with one of the managers to let her know I had been cut in line, and one of the employees. They still insisted on letting them cut me, so I waited a little while and I decided to move my own items in the correct positition in line. After that they did not let me sale my items even though they let other people cut me. Do not sale here.
I like this place. Great clothes. Sometimes can be over priced and dont give enough credit for what you trade or sell to them. Over all its worth it.
