Sad theyre closing but very happy I caught those closeout deals. My holiday shopping is done! $12 bed-in-a-bag sets, $5 major brand heels, FREE hand towels, $11 high end watches, and more. I left carrying bag after bag after bag.
Unfortunately, this store seems to be dying. While Ive never had any bad experiences here, they only have 2-3 cashiers at any given time, and only at one area making for long waits. But theyve always friendly and helpful and get me checked out as fast as they can. I rarely go in expecting a lot of selection, mostly Im there for staple items like socks, belts, basic shirts as they dont seem to have much selection anymore.
I dont like giving such low scores, but this Sears (which Ive been shopping for 40 +/- years) needs more open customer service stations and cashiers, they need a new register system (too many steps to buy just a single item) that doesnt spit out two yards of receipts, and they need to splurge a little and turn on the ac. They have tons of great clothes, appliances, tools, etc. But after ten minutes and the line of 6 customers didnt move - and the next customer, please in line was RETURNING something - I figured it would be at least 20 minutes before I was next customer, please and left without the items I wanted. :( I understand there are planning for bringing new life to Northlake mall - I just hope its before Sears is history.
This store should have NO stars! Run and go to an area that has a delivery service that actually delivers! I gave these store 2 times to change my time and date and they never called or delivered my washer and dryer! I did receive a text message stating that they returned my items too the store. I will never go through Sears ever again. If I were you I wouldnt get caught in the hype. What catches our eye in the store will not make it too your house I guarantee!
They have some quality sale items and offer rewards just for buying. using your own credit card!
Ive been a Sears customer for quite sometime and it amazes me that the company is doing badly because their products are the same or better than any other retailers and have better prices. Failure to lure younger customers over the years is the cause of this. If the company were to have say a Best of the New Bands contest with a substantial monetary prize the bands would get all their fans in the store to see what Sears has to offer them, and Sears would benefit from the social networks all the young bands have alerting their supporters to come to their performances. With the reduction of sales personnel it is frustrating trying to find things and where to pay for them. Its still worth shopping there however.
They have good ties for affordable prices. I was able to good a good looking tie for my graduation.
Nothing to see here. This has always been a terribly managed location. Its easy to see why its scheduled to close. They never have what you are looking for and you always have to go to another location.
The fella that waited on me possessed superb customer service skills that were genuine.
Great sales, great savings Im getting mines so get yours.Hurry dont miss out.
Great sale and Kyla in the mattress sold us a very nice pillow.
Sears is çlosing soon. Everything is on sale. A good time to save money.
Bought a bikini (both parts) for .10 and a pair of shoes for 1.99. Only time Ive set foot in any Sears since the new millennium. Oh well, its gone now.
It was great place to get my tools, Sad to see it go!
Sears inability to process their online orders for store pickup is amazing. I called Wednesday to confirm my items were ready for a Friday pickup. Setup a Friday morning appointment at 8 am. Arrive on time to be told that the order is not ready.I can actually see the tires that I ordered 10 feet behind the counter. Same size, brand, and everything. Nope, they claim they dont have it. Trying to get ahold of the Auto Service manager and no one knows his hours.Cant wait till Sears finally declares bankruptcy once and for all.
1 star cause cant give no star. This place sucks and have lost my business FOREVER. Spent 1 he trying to buy a tool box.First told had one in stock, Then not true. Then they agreed to sell me floor model at full price. I told them to give me discount and I would. Salesman went talked to someone else who said give him 10% off. I agreed to buy floor model then some other person came by and REFUSED to sell me the floor model. Said he could order it at original full price. After taking so long and getting differing stories told them to for get the whole thing. Even called the store manager and he defiantly didnt care!!!!! Went to Sears at Gwinnett Place to deal with some competence and was told that item was discontinued and should have been able to buy floor model because computer would not let him order; kept saying item discontinued. He told me computer showed 1 in Alpharetta and 1 at Northlake.Which is same thing I got when trying to order. What is wrong with Sears??? No wonder they are in trouble.
I purchased a washer and dryer from the Northlake Mall store. I went to buy a bundle sale that turned out to be out of stock, and settled on a similar item. The merchandise was scheduled to be delivered on Monday. I took time off of work and was notified during the appointment time that the delivery was cancelled. I had a difficult time rescheduling and spent 5+ hours on the phone between the store, call center, and warehouse, each of whom blamed the other for the problem. The machines were finally delivered today, but the power cord and water hose that I purchased were not delivered, so I still do not have a working washer and dryer. I have decided to stop trying to make sense of this and cancelled the order for a refund. Sears had the best price, but I have lost a significant amount of time and energy, and the customer service post sale has been poor. Lesson learned...you get what you pay for. A brand cannot carry itself without continued focus on its customer.
Great place to pick up things you buy online. Just keep in mind that they hold them at a counter in the rear of the store.
Love theyre product and customer service
What a terrible experience. For the third consecutive time, I ordered an appliance from Sears (this time it was a Dishwasher), was promised a delivery date and then got an automated call telling me that my delivery date was going to be delayed due to a Manufacturer Delay. This time the delay was from December 11th this week to December 29th.The first time this happened with a Range Hood, it caused my contractor to have to come back to finish our kitchen renovation, causing us to have to live with an unfinished kitchen for three weeks. The second time, it happened within 24 hours of the promised delivery date, causing me to have to cancel the plumber and incur a $180 cancellation charge. Sears was neither apologetic, nor willing to compensate me. All they did was offer about $30 worth of points, which expired in 30 days.I have learned my lesson. I cancelled my order with them and will never, ever in a million years give them my business again. Sears is a terribly run company that has sleazy policies that are deliberately contemptuous of the customer. Avoid at all costs.
Found out theyre closing this location in September so they have lots of good deals
One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The first time i want i had to wait 15-20 minutes before somone check me out and my recent is it it took me 30 minutes to be checked out.

Great! Fast and easy directions
Our visit was to Sears Optical. The young lady working between the hours of 2:15 3:00 was rude. She behaved as if we were bothering her.
Going out of business. Only junk left
This branch was going out of business. I went because it was 70 percent off, Sears is normally priced too high.
Sears has changed a lot over the years and not for the better. Its so hard to get help when you have a problem with a new appliance that it just isnt worth the sale.
All about hardware and Automobile s... But shop closing in September 18
