We bought several very expensive Graff shower and sink faucets, and all of them started failing soon after installation (they drip even after being turned off, they dont properly fit into the wall fixtures when not in use, and they generally feel fragile and flimsy and of low quality). Babak blamed our installer, saying they had not been installed properly, but our installer has done 15+ years of work for us and is highly skilled. This place also has very high turnover - most likely because the people working there are aware of the poor quality of the products. As several other reviewers said already: dont be fooled by the pretty showroom! Do your homework!

They refused to return my down payment after the design did not meet our agreed upon budget and our desires. They were very difficult to work with and extremely rude. Buyer beware!

We are a returning customer to Old Castle home design center. Our experience with them has been always positive. We did our master/kids bathroom with them and now were back to do our kitchen renovation. We meet with them in their beautiful showroom to discuss design and details of our custom kitchen and we enjoy it every time. We are very comfortable with the designers and the owner of the company; as they always take the time to answer our questions and help us figuring out what we really want. For our bathrooms renovation their crew were in our house for several weeks, very professional and reliable people. The owner, Babak, has been always available and helpful to us. He is the real project manager and took care of everything from start to the end. We even invited him and his wife to our house for dinner.Many people in our neighborhood have done a project with Old Castle over the years and thats how we were referred to them. They are a reliable established company with the best people; the owner, the designers that they have in house and the crew at the job side. A few months ago, I stopped by this showroom with my class to take a look around, and the design team was very helpful and knowledgeable. They gave us a short tour of their showroom and answered questions. The showroom was beautiful and had a very luxurious look to it.

I walked into this store and it was absolutely gorgeous. I was ready to use them to remodel my kitchen and I am so glad I didnt . After calling the designer who I spoke with only to find out she was no longer there truly surprised me . The store has only been open for approximately 3 months and to find out both of the designers have quit shocked me . To also find out it was because he does not pay his employees on time and he also ask them to hold their checks for days before cashing it, lets me know once again God watches out for me . I highly recommend Old Castle Home Design Center! We just built a new home and they assisted us with our kitchen, bathrooms and a large built-in in our living room! Katya helped us every step of the way, and she was always right there when we needed her! She is a lovely lady and very talented, and she wants the projects to be just perfect as if its her own house! Old Castle Design is up to something . You walk in and the owner smothers you after the sales team have already greeted you with respect and professionalism. This showroom will convince you from the appearance but will let you down once you purchase . You place your order and it takes longer than any other business would take to get it . My friend purchased from Old Castle and it took a month after paying in full . I stopped in today just to see for myself and it is no customers in the store but the two employees are professional and willing to help . We believe the owner uses the money clients pay to take care of pass bills and charges created . My guess is he is over his head and wont be open long . We had two projects in mind that involved opposite ends of our 1970’s-built home. Babak began with multiple, relaxed interviews with us, in which he gathered an impressive amount of information about how we live, how we use parts of our home, what are differences in taste between my wife and me, etc. When he got back to us with sample design options, we were downright gleeful at his ability to crystallize what we were each looking for, and his tactful way of pulling our disparate tastes and visions together into cohesive, practical design. And he did all that while keeping his eye on the vintage of our home, its innate style, so that in the end the newly remodeled rooms blended seamlessly into our existing, older home.The construction process was lengthy, but always clearly focused and sequenced out on a calendar in advance. We felt at ease with the security of our home, their efforts to minimize noise, keeping us informed at each step, as well as efforts to clean up at the end of each day. The individual workers from Old Castle Design Center were, to the one, responsive, careful, courteous, and thoughtful in getting their work done while we were still living there. Finishing details drug out for several months after crews had moved on to other projects, and seemed to become lower priority, but I’ve never doubted that they would all get done. I trust that Babak will be responsive to us if any issues might develop in the future, and that is a great reassurance.We’re very grateful to Old Castle Design Center. For us, it was the right size firm for our job, and gave us creative planning and quality workmanship, done with financial clarity and complete trustworthiness. We really love the finished result!

We renovated our Bathroom with Old castle home design center last year and we were very pleased with their services. They have changed our bathroom layout and made it functional.. With the amazing tile selection, detailed design, unique vanities, free standing tub and full shower system, we are enjoying our master bathroom every day. What a great experience.A month ago we have done our kitchen renovation with them and the result was what we were expecting. They are not limited at all. With more than 12 kitchen cabinet manufacturers, they are able to create any style and look. I hired Old Castle Home Design Center to do a complete gut renovation of my kitchen and Master bathroom, along with an electrical upgrade in both rooms and moving a gas line in the kitchen. I live in a coop building which can add some additional approval steps. The Old Castle Home Design Center team really does a good job of understanding the client and individual situation. The team was super easy to work with throughout the process, from reviewing the space and putting together design, to setting up all the pieces of the actual renovation process. Their showroom is great – they have full installs to look at and they carry different vendors for cabinets, counter-tops etc. from which you can order. They make it easy to book appointments at the showroom for each next step and they are very good about sticking to the appointment dates and times.For the process, I got a response quickly after I first inquired with Old Castle. They do an initial visit to your home to get an idea of what you want to do, see the space, take measurements. I had sent them an online photobook of inspiration as well to help in the design process. They then put together designs and bring you in to get your feedback and changes and they really listen to what you want. Once the design is done, you move on to picking all the materials needed and a timeline is laid out based on the start date identified. They help you to select the right materials for the design. As part of the price they also manage the information that needs to go to a coop board for approval, the communication with the building as well as setting up the necessary insurance and trade functions.Once the renovation starts, they moved quickly. They show up every day on time like they say they will and they work the full day. My building is very strict about when work can be done, and they followed the rules with no issues. They had all the proper inspections done and had no issues there either which is great. They clean up after themselves and their teams are very polite and nice when they come to your home. They take care of removing everything after demolition and then bring the materials as needed to your location for installation.All in all, I had a great experience with Old castle Home Design Center and am very happy with the renovation. The full team is trustworthy and works very hard for the client. Renovation in Atlanta is a huge undertaking – my advice is to ask all the questions you can think of, listen to their advice and make sure each decision is what is best for you, understand all the pricing and what is included and separate. It is a lot of details to manage but Old castle Home Design Center really makes it as painless as possible and they really want to make sure you are happy with how it is going and happy with the end result. Highly recommend!

The estimate went up and the customization went down after they received my retainer. They made promises that they didn’t keep. I had a major remodel of a kitchen and laundry done by Old Castle Home Design Center. I am someone who has had many construction/remodel projects in my lifetime. This was the BEST experience. First, Babak knew my budget and worked with it. Second, it is by far the best remodel I have ever experienced from the experience of dealing with Babak and his employees during construction until the end product. His employees always cleaned up at the end of the day—even during demolition to try to minimize dust. Babak came in and inspected and if there was anything he wasn’t satisfied with, he had it changed. Imagine quality control without even mentioning anything! To say the least, if you are doing any type of construction whether bathroom, kitchen, cabinets for a closet or den, I have no hesitations in recommending Old Castle Home Design Center. He also stands behind his installations. I am now considering a master bath, and I am not going to anyone else but Old Castle.
