I had two rear tires mounted and balanced, I thought everything was good until I went to remove the wheels to change brakes and rotors. My lugs are black and had been scratched up by the impact gun used. When I went to break the lugs loose I couldn’t. I used a 24” breaker with a cheater, a corded impact, and a cordless impact all with no success. The torque spec is only 95 ft/lbs, which is easy to loosen with a breaker bar. But since it was tightened way past that I will have to make a second trip just to get the studs loosened.

Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I took my car in to be serviced as part of the 2020 settlement Ford had to make over the class action lawsuit regarding their transmission issues. My car happens to be one of the worst ones with the specific issue. The dealership I purchased the car from confirmed there was an issue, they were very attentive and have been great about guiding me in how to get the issue resolved and recommended bill cole as they are the closest Ford certified store in the area. The transmission was slipping so bad I was even nervous trying to get it to bill cole. Dropped the car off, was told I should receive a call within a few hours. I got a call probably 30 minutes before they closed telling me they couldn’t find any issue, and that they wanted me to do a test drive with a service tech because they believe it was the way I drove the car. I explained to them that the dealership I purchased the car from had already confirmed the issue, I couldn’t take ANOTHER day off work to do a test drive and was simply amazed they couldn’t find an issue that almost caused me to have to tow the vehicle to them. The service manager was very rude, insisted it was the way I drove the car and all they could do was a test drive. I asked to just pick the vehicle up seeing no further help in the future simply based off the treatment I already received. When I picked up the vehicle, the service engine light was gone, my horn no longer worked, and for about a day the transmission did not slip at all. Second day of having the car back I was on the highway going 60 mph and the transmission slipped so badly I nearly lost control of the car. I couldn’t gain speed over 10 mph all the while the RPMs are sitting at 3000 going TEN MILES AN HOUR. I didn’t even bother calling bill cole back and have made an appointment elsewhere.Not only did the lack of care for this issue nearly harm me, but my car was given back to me with more issues than I brought it in with. As a reminder this issue is required by law to be fixed BY FORD as part of the class action settlement. Bill cole is a joke and I do not recommend getting ANY kind of service done with them. The ONLY person who treated me with respect and took the time to actually speak with me was a service tech I believe his name was Ken.

My experience with Bill Cole started out by taking my new ford raptor in for service. I had never been there prior. The service department bent over backwards to take care of me. They treated me like family from the get go. My experience was so good that I insisted my family go there from now on. And they have. Since my truck was serviced there 2 months later I purchased a brand new ford super duty from them. The sales experience was fanominal. They made it so much fun buying a new vehicle. The sales lady was top notch, the sales manager was an extremely nice guy, and the finance guy was awesome. We will be happy to continue our business with Bill Cole for future purchases and service. I started my experience with Bill cole auto mall in Oct of 2020 .I bought a 2019 ford f150 truck from Bill cole. And had it leaked water really bad from the fire wall and cad had to fight with them from Oct to Feb 2021 .Then they put in a 2020 ford f150 and this has a really bad nock in motor and i have put 3.5 gal of oil in this truck since Feb. Second week after getting the truck I had put 7 quarters of oil in this truck and yes I called Bill cole and nothing was done about .Now I am on my third oil test to find out way it using so much oil .there is so much worry with truck to list. Like the radio doesnt work theres a smell in the truck will make you so sick . In short I would not buy a vehicle from Bill cole auto mall. Because after the sale you are on your Owen. There stand be in what there sale there. Good luck to who very buy from Bill cole.

Brought vehicle in for part recall, oil change, brake noise. Car was test driven, front bakes inspected and greased, oil change, 100 point inspection. The car was kept over night and picked up the following day, unfortunately the day after I picked up the vehicle I noticed the front drivers wheel had been curbed and there was a gash in the sidewall of the tire. Confident I did not do this damage I spoke with a service manager and brought the vehicle back and was told the damage was not new and the dealership was not at fault. This tire had the pressure checked (twice), was removed and reinstalled, and a 100 point inspection by a mechanic. The damage is directly beside the valve stem, and they never made any note of this damage or recall seeing it. I believe that is enough evidence to justify the dealership should own the damage, if I thought there was a chance I done this, I would not pursue it. I would not recommend doing business with a company that tells a customer it is their fault and the damage is not new when there is overwhelming evidence that it was done at their shop. Very disappointed, I am very picky about my vehicle and know where every blemish is, this would not go unnoticed.

Avoid getting your vehicle serviced at this facility at all cost. I went in for an oil change on my Ford F250 diesel truck.Upon Discovery they did not put my radiator Degas bottle back on it with cause my truck to spew all of the coolant out of the bottleEvery once in awhile Ill be get the hint of oil burning looked under my truck and found my oil pan drain plug was only hand tight with threads showing. And oil is scattered everywhere underneath my truck.This is a classic example of poor vehicle service department and if I would have lost a engine from the results of the two mistakes made above. They would have fought me tooth and nail not to replace it.This is unreal.

No stars If I could,service department experience was awful, and tried to buy a new SUV but the price was all over the place started around the mid 20s ended up at almost 40k.... plus we got left sitting for two hours and were completely forgot about. We will never ever go back even if the vehicles are free!

My daughter and I went on Thursday so she could purchase her first car. Michael in used cars worked with us and we found out later it was his first day with Bill Cole. Well he was awesome. This was my first visit to Bill Cole service department. I went into this expecting the typical dealership experience but I didnt get it. I was happily greeted by Harley and I was 40 minutes early for my appointment and was immediately taken care of. My car was taken into the shop within 10 minutes and it was worked on till it was finished and returned to me quickly.

I was promised a position for a service writer & i had put in my two week notice at my current employer to come here. At the end of my notice & as I showed up for my first day, they had informed me that they had already filled the position. I had already had all paperwork filled out & had the job. So after leaving a $13.00 per hour job, they stuck me with a $10.00 a hour job. Such a big pay cut, almost lost everything due to this. As I was stuck there until I found another job, I saw first hand how NEW VEHICLES ARE TREATED and it is safe to say I will never buy or encourage anyone to buy from Bill Cole Ford. This was a very poor & unprofessional experience. Management is awful, poor & overall a awful company to work for.

Overpriced used vehicles with bogus document fees added at closing to increase purchase price. GM Caleb insisted on financing vehicle to lower price. Vehicle was used and selling price was higher than what previous owner had paid for it a year prior.

Service appt. was at 8. never received call as to status of vehicle repairs until I placed the call at 3 to check on said vehicle. Service representative was away from his desk and did receive a call back within 15 minutes letting me know car was ready for pickup. Diagnostic was ran and that was all. Can not figure out why no update call was done earlier in the day.

From sales to service you will not find another dealership in the area that is better. The entire staff are second to none. Everyone there goes out of their way to insure you have the greatest expearance any customer could have.

I had 2 recalls to be repaired. I was a little early for my 8:20 a.m. appointment. About a half hour later my vehicle was on the service rack. I was out in 2 hours. Joey was at the service desk. He was very friendly, personable, and professional. He offered me a shuttle ride to home, but I explained that I had another appointment somewhere else. It worked out great.I allowed 5 hrs. for my vehicle service and as I said out in 2.

Sent my car in cause it had a jump in it took them 3 days to return the car fixed... car still jumps and is actually in worse condition then it was when we sent it in so much for good mechanics in this store

I have total confidence in BILL COLE FORD to take great care of my 2017 Ford Super Duty! My service appointments are timely in making the appointment, extremely convenient for my personal schedule, very professional, costs of service are a bargain, in my opinion, and last but definitely not least, their service technician/mechanic is a true professional and knows every nut, bolt, and function of these vehicles. They always inform me of anything that may be needing attention on the next service visit so there are no surprises such as brake pads, tires, etc.

Friendly and knowledgeable were the employees. The service tech and mechanic greeted me quickly, gave me a price on an oil change and took my car in for servicing right away. The wait wasn’t to long, but when told my car was finished and I walked up to the desk to pay, where I was explained the process initially done, what I wasn’t told, was about any issues they found while working on my car that was documented on the work order. Leaks, fluid levels, low tire pressure, etc, etc... All in all, decent service. Thanks.

The staff was nice, courteous and seem to know what they were doing. However their price for a break job was three times what it could be at another place. Therefore I found it to be overpriced and did not allow them to do the right job but only the oil change and systems checks. They used to be much more reasonable before They were bought by Bill Cole. I will continue to do their service checks but I will have my major work done elsewhere because they have simply out price themselves as far as I am able to pay.

Visited a couple months ago and saw a used car I was interested in. When I asked for a sale price, I never got a straight answer and was told it depended on my credit. Well, we had our own financing and down payment squared away, so we went down the street a few blocks and bought a car at Glockner. The salesmen were friendly at Bill Cole, but I dont like the way they do business. When you ask for a sales price they should be able to let you know exactly what they want to sell the car for...not an around about or ballpark range depending on your credit when we told them we had our own financing through our bank. Thats very off-putting and why we took our business elsewhere.

Sarah Taylor was our salesperson and she was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. She wasn’t pushy or overbearing at all because that would’ve been a deal breaker. Rick the finance person was also very helpful and kind. The team went above and beyond to help us drive home in a new car.

Called these guys and had them run my credit for a Focus. They told me over the phone that they could do a specific payment with my trade in and a specific down payment. I drove 30 miles to this dealership to work out the paperwork only for them to tell me they now required a 3,000 dollar down payment and a monthly payment of almost 500 a month. The previously promised a 500 dollar down-payment with my trade in and 375 a month for the payment. The salesman Tyler was super nice, but the manager we spoke with told me theyd never said that and it wasnt going to happen. Ill be filing a BBB complaint soon because they ran my credit into the ground with all the checks they ran.

Great experience purchasing my new vehicle with Bill Cole. I was in a bit of a time crunch to get the deal done and they were able to work with me and get me out the door in record time. I have also used their Service Department on multiple occasions and they always do a phenomenal job.

They over price for theyre used cars and everyone there is on drugs I know this cuz I worked there.

This dealership does not keep their word. My friend of mine purchased a vehicle from them and said they would fix the speakers. After purchase of the sale he went and requested service of the speakers to be fixed as they agreed. Once he went to get it fixed they said there was nothing wrong with it and to just turn the bass all the way down. A regular stereo would not have to be altered or anything. You can hear the cracking still from the passenger side. They still said it was fine. It’s sad that they can’t keep to their word when they advertise they are great and positive people and look forward to helping other. He more than likely has to pay out of pocket because they will not stick to their agreement. I would not recommend buying from this dealership at all.

Everyone that I dealt with was super nice. I was traveling and my car broke down. One of the service men was able to get my car looked at sooner than had been expected, and he just very kind and supportive.Since it had to be left there, I had no transportation. A couple of the salesmen drove me to the hotel, and the next day one of them picked me up so I could go get a rental car. Everyone in Sales was very nice.Even though it wasnt my intention to stop in Ashland, I was just driving through on my way to NC, I must say I met some very nice people, a young girl who stopped to see if I was alright and called AAA for me, a police officer who stayed with me till the tow truck got there and then drove me to the motel, the tow truck driver, everyone at Bill Coles, and several employees, from the front desk staff to restaurant staff to the cleaning staff and valet,at the Delta Marriott.Ashland. KY you have a beautiful town and some of the friendliest and nicest, most genuine people I have met in all my travels.Thank you for making a bad situation bearable.

A good job by the mechanic. I had no clue the cabin on my Focus had an air filter. The guy at the counter explained why it was not covered by warranty. He also explained the cost breakdown. The time my car was being serviced was not excessive. Cost incurred was about right for the work that was done. A good job.

I had a car i was trying to sell because i do not use it much anymore. I wanted to see the value on kelly blue book and they sent my cars information to some dealers. This dealership bill cole called and emailed me multiple times and when i got back ahold of them they told me they 9/10 offer more than the kelly blue book offer for vehicles and would love for me to bring my car by. My car is not perfect and miles are high but i decided to give it a chance. I drove my car 1 hour from where i am from. When i arrived i met a sales guy at the used lot named Gary. He was nice at first until he saw my car. We were over looking at other vehicles when we gave him the keys to do the inspection but all he did was open the door and just stand with one foot inside and didn’t look much at the car nor did he start it. He came over and asked how much i was looking for and i told him and he told me i wouldnt get that and maybe he would offer me $500 but he wanted to take it to another gentleman at the new lot to look at it. Not even 2 minutes later he pulls back up and said kelly blue book would not buy my vehicle and started pointing out things about the look of the car and offered me $100-$200 MAX for my car. We then proceeded to ask him did you really look at it because that was really fast. I mean he literally was gone 2-3 minutes maximum. Gary then said it would have to be an auction car for a cash price only because the way my car looked would not reflect the good name of the dealership. I explained that i had drove 1 hour there after numerous calls and an email from them and he did not care nor say sorry for the inconvenience. I was very disappointed about his attitude. I have never been to a dealership before and the second time i go will definitely NOT be this one again. I would not recommend to any of my friends.

Very happy with the work done and it was done in a timely fashion. I just wish the communication would have been better. I didn’t know what was going on with my car, or that it was being kept overnight, until I called to try to find things out (and often talked to people who didn’t know either). I really didn’t get any info about my car until they told me I could come get it.

I bring all my vehicles here for tires and regular maintenance. As well as most my family members. Mostly because of Ace that works there. If you want good service and the knowledge that your not being ripped off I recommend this place highly.

I came across Boyd County Ford in a not so ideal situation and they were nothing but kind and extremely helpful. A friend and I were driving from Philadelphia to Denver and my brake lights decided to stop working somewhere in West Virginia. After going to a local garage, I was told that I needed to go to a dealership, but no dealerships in the area had time to take me in that day. Needing to get to Colorado in a timely fashion, we decided to drive as far as we could until we found a dealer that could help. After calling about 5-8 dealerships, we came across Boyd County Ford. Not only did they take us in immediately, but they offered to drive us to grab some lunch while we waited! This type of customer service is above and beyond the call of duty. Unfortunately, they didnt have the part, but the service manager called a customer who had the same part and asked if we could use theirs until the new part arrived in the morning. Not only is this strategic thinking and amazing problem solving; it is the type of thing that a good hearted person would do for two girls on the road trying to get on their way. I cant recommend this dealership enough! They were amazing and I couldnt be more thankful for their services! Boyd County Ford ROCKS!
