The store itself is pretty interesting looking. I went there with friends after having our graduation dinner. We wanted to wander around Asheville for the night to hang out and my friend wanted new clothes, so we stopped in to wait as they looked around..As for the clothes, theyre not my type or style and feels like regurgitated 90s clothes. I give it 4 stars because even though its not my personal style, its still obviously a beloved store/company. The store was immaculately clean and staff was friendly and I wont review a place negatively just because its not my style. I cant complain about the prices being too high either because I usually shop at places like KillStar and BCC where the prices are about the same and this UO is in Asheville where prices like that are to be expected.The only real problem I had was that the clothes didnt come off as size inclusive. I didnt see a single large anywhere and the dress I picked up and almost bought was a medium, but to be perfectly honest it looked like an extra-small with a medium tag. Thats more of a company thing to deal with, not the individual store itself, so other than that, it was an interesting, friendly experience.

Employees and management facilitate and enable drug use, distribution, and camping by homeless population on their property. Daily problem we witness which they seem to rather not address. Management, staff, and ownership absent from local resident and downtown business owner planning and problem solving groups.

Great store for teens and young twenty somethings. Lots of fashionable choices that arent hard on the wallet.

This store has nice service but selection is not good as others.

It was very welcoming and colorful, very accepting with whatever you asked.

No men’s section at all???? Looks like the valley girls have taken over the store. Decor is nice with the wood look throughout. Assortment is below standard for an Urban outfitters even for women with taste.

Lovely and unusual clothing but expensive for me.

Not liking urban outfitters in general lately compared to the variety of style they used to offer. It feels like now they are only catering to edgy hipsters. I used to be able to walk in and always find at least one thing that made me say dang I want this, and now I just walk in look around and leave.

Helpful staff and great selections

Asked for help in the fitting room. Girl in mom jeans with a nose piercing told me they fit wasnt fresh. No cap not 100. Also saw some dude with a dime bag and didnt offer me some. Wack and not cool me and the homies not coming back.

It would be nice if they had items for people who arent a size 2 or 4. And their stuff is way overpriced. I go to look around & buy similar stuff at less expensive stores.

One of my favorite stores to buy close. Always something there to suits me so well. Some of the perfumes and oils are very refreshing too, dont stay for a long time, but gives you a good vibes:):):)

I love this store! Some things are pricey but good quality. A good variety of things throughout the store. Its always fun to stop by and shop around.

I can see the appeal but the clothes are very pricey. Also, this particular store has smelled strongly of weed, to the point of headache, both times I have gone in. If you have money to spare, sure shop here, but otherwise you can find a lot of these clothes at more affordable prices at local shops.

Nice staff and nice people. I like to buy my books here.. but its mostly cloths and for those with asthetic appeal

Terrible customer service at the register, after 10 min the lady could not find the price of a sale item and decided she could not sell me the item. It is not that hard and the store was not busy at all. Never had a problem like this before at a store even if the item lacks a price tag. I decided to leave without buying anything☹️.

Average clothes at price gouging prices.Where are these made from? I feel like Quality has really been placed on the back burner for their materials used.Sorry. No thank you, just not my thing, may be someone else though that only looks at a temporary stylish outfit that may not last for a long time.

I know that when this store was first built it was controversial amongst Ashevillians but i personally love it! Its got some of the most interesting thinks you can find anywhere!A helpful tip: if somethings cheaper online than in the store they will match that price.

Its an Urban Outfitters. If youve been to one youve been to all. This one is very well kept.

Not sure if this urban outfitters is out of place or belongs perfectly in Asheville... Generally helpful and kind staff. I like the design and open layout of the store. The Products tend to be trendy and a bit expensive for my taste. But found a good pair of Doc Martens in my wifes size, for less $$ then most places charge.

The girls love visiting this store. It has cool unique clothing & merch.

This is a big Urban Outfitters. It reminds me of the one in NY. I like looking through the merch here...its way over priced but most of their customers dont seem to think so I guess...but it looks like the clientele are still spending their parents money so Im sure they dont care...lol

Great variety of unique items and modern clothing

My daughter, Amber, purchased some items in the Asheville, NC store with her own $ - when we arrived home (we live 3 hours from the store) we found one of the items had a hole in it. I called the store and was told that we could mail it back to them and they would replace the item, but we have to pay the postage to send it back. Considering it is not our fault that there is a hole in the item (it appears to be where the sensor was removed) I feel they should have been more than happy to cover the postage. Spoke with 2 people and no one even said they were sorry. I called customer service only to be told there is nothing they can do b/c it was purchased at a store but did agree the store should pay for the item to be mailed back. We have spent quite a bit of $ over the last year at Urban Outfitters and I feel that the level of customer service in this situation is just not acceptable. Kathy

I went in today and had the most delightful experience! Today is Easter Sunday... I got off work and had to return a shirt and exchange it for a medium... It was simple and quick! ... Then, a less than happy experience arose (not people working there) but a gentlemen started acting out... Yelling and screaming cussing and making a huge scene making everyone and myself extremely uncomfortable.... After the situation settled (he left the store) I was gently approached by a girl named Andrea (I am so sorry Im terrible with names) she said are you okay!! And I was so touched by her sincere concern we got to talking and I stated that same guy was in my work this morning making a huge scene ... She was just so kind!! She was saying I really want to make sure our customers feel safe and if your ever uncomfortable let me know, she quickly grabbed some of the items in my hand and asked if I needed a fitting room, I said yes and for the entire 2 hours of me trying on clothes, and shoes her as well as a girl named Rose were beyond delightful, helpful, great to talk to and made me feel so at ease! If your lucky enough to go into urban outfitters and meet these two you will have the best customer service ever!!! Thank you Irban outfitters for hiring such kind people!! You are lucky to have these two representing your brand!! These two should both be making a minimum of 19.00 an hour! You too are amazingly sweet people!! Thank you for being so wonderous!!!

Not nearly as good of a selection as the website. Staff looked gloomy, store only had clothing mostly. Online they have lots of decor, furniture, nicknacks this place didnt. It was more like forever 21

Gross. Everything is so trendy and it makes you wanna leave the second you get a good whiff of the desperation and regret. Lots of teenagers come through here and laugh really loud, and act like theyre 12. The employees are also kinda rude, and just want you to leave as soon as possible, but I dont really blame them for that when their patrons are literally some of the mostly drunk rich kids without any sense of self control or self-worth. They have record players, though. Thats cool, Im glad those are making a comeback. I would just rather not buy one here because its not worth it, the price, or just being here in general. Avoid it like the plague.

I was shopping at your store located in Asheville, NC on February 29th around 6 p.m. While at the register I started to feel really light headed and blackout out. I slid down to the floor cause I knew I was passing out and my friends were trying to calm me down. I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed about the situation due to how the employees reacted. No help was offered they simply ignored me. Your coworkers literally just looked at me and didn’t say anything. They didn’t even have the decency to ask if I was okay. My friend asked one of them if there was a bathroom cause I had just passed out ! And all they could say was “no”I have never experienced such poor service at any store like that. Anybody would act fast to any situation like that, and all your coworkers could say was “ no we don’t have a bathroom”Unbelievable.

Classic UO, two floors and very neatly kept inside... clothes are kitchy, casual, mostly neutrals, but I think a tad overpriced.

Not a great store product-wise compared to other Urbans. Additionally, I encountered bad customer service. I was a patron and asked someone working in the unstairs fitting room if there was a bathroom. Before I could even fisish asking the question, she said “No” without even making eye contact with me. I know it wasn’t the end of the world, but it definitely was not a way to encourage me to shop there again. We’ve all been annoyed at work before, but that’s not the way to act to a paying customer. On December 31, 2017.

This urban outfitters is huuuuge and beautiful

Its two floors for VERY little merchandise. I dont think Ive ever been in such a not-customer-friendly space. The clothes were pretty ugly and overpriced.

Some cool stuff, but a lot is overpriced unless there is a good sale going on.

Wish we had one in Greenville but it was worth the drive to Asheville to shop here and other places, as well as have a burger at nearby Farmburger.
