I had such a great experience here. Andrea was the best and got me in same day to have my brakes looked at. They could have told me they needed to be replaced, but were so honest and told me there was life left and that I was all set! $60 instead of hundreds later, I was out with a perfect car!

This review is way overdue. I have to thank Adam, the owner, for going above and beyond to save us during a vacation. We were taking our vintage airstream out for its maiden voyage across the state. We made it 2 miles and a wheel fell off. Like the bearing blew out and the wheel came off and took off across the road.I didnt know what to do, so I had heard that good things about this place so I decided to try and get the airstream there on 3 wheels.I got there and initially he wanted to help, but just didnt have the space in the garage. But decided to come take a look at it anyway.he was able to diagnose the issue, and then took time to search out the needed parts, located them, found a buddy who was able to come do the repair within a few hours.After a few hours we actually got back on the road, after I was sure we were toast. He got us back on the road and we were able to start our vacation that I was sure was lost.I cant thank him enough for what he did for us that day. I cant recommend this place enough.

Called this morning to try to get in ASAP, and although they were booked out into the next month, he stayed on the phone with me for 10 more minutes giving me his opinion and insight on what I was dealing with! We need more people like this in the world!

I have been loyal to Sweeten Creek Automotive for more years than can recall. I am in the process of retiring my Expedition and they are the reason I got such an extended life out of it. If you are looking for honesty and excellence this is the place.

I went in to get a tire repaired, which they did quickly and cheaply, but they also told me that i would need my brake pads replaced soon-- a lie. I went to another auto repair shop and they told me I wasnt halfway towards needing a replacement.

Super helpful and excellent customer service. We brought our Dodge Sprinter van in for a straightforward inspection before a long road trip and the team did a great job at a very reasonable price. They even let us call them with some follow-up questions a week later and gave us some free advice over the phone!

They saved me so much money in the long run, I had spent a lot of money taking it to another garage with the issue temporarily fixed. This place is a life saver! Day 1 of our trip to Asheville and I noticed a belt squeaking and after a short trip I saw smoke and a slight loss of power steering. We went to a few auto shops across the street before they directed us to SCA for their good work and hopefully their availability.We weren’t sure what to expect, but they far and away exceeded all expectations and totally saved our trip! They had it diagnosed within the hour and had it fixed (several replacements) before the end of the day! They were quick, efficient, and absolutely wonderful to work with!If we lived closer, they would 100% be my go-to mechanic!Thank you for saving our trip!!

Took a 2007 car with 185,000 miles in for a pre-purchase inspection. Scott was thorough, provided a detailed report, and explained every item in a way I could understand. These folks are wonderful! They allowed me to stay while they worked on my car (with an appointment). They worked quickly and efficiently. They also gave me a specific price break down BEFORE proceeding with the work so I could choose how much I wanted to spend. And they brought out my old tire to show me how bad it had gotten (yikes it was in bad shape!) I will definitely return to these folks in the future!

They gave me a affordable and good fix on my car- came in for my car to be looked at and they found the little things like mounts that were worn and got me an appointment to fix it fast. I got to play with a coloring book while they were fixing up my car and then adam put my picture on the wall. It was nice.Good trustful people.

I represent Travers Brothership an internationally touring band based out of Asheville, NC. We put an average of 50,000 miles on our touring van a year, so it often needs maintenance. Went in due to hearing a noise on the back driver side tire my ex told me he believed it to be the wheel bearing. I Googled cost and expected it to be a quite expensive fix. They were so nice and confirmed it was the wheel bearing and that it was going to cost way less than what I thought!!! They also checked my roters and breaks and let me know that my breaks still had a little life in them. They didnt try to cheat me out of money or fix things that didnt need fixed right away. I dropped off my car at 8am and picked it up at 11am. I will go here from now on for any of my vehicle needs 😊 Great customer service! Thank yall so much 😊

-Update-$1400.00 estimate was fixed elsewhere with $80.00 in parts plus $100.00 labor. Also, when the car was returned to my possession, the plugs, wires, splash guard, etc. were left as a disconnected mess. It was not appreciated.Perhaps the crew missed a step and were convinced that the $1400.00 job was necessary. The difference between the real cost elsewhere and the estimate here is so large that I am suspicious. If it was a mistake, it was a pretty huge one for a professional.I do not offer one star because they were quick to get back to me, had a professional demeanor on the phone.-Original Post-Old faithful wouldnt start yesterday morning. Adam referred me to a tow truck, who showed up within 30 mins to haul my ride up to the shop. I had a full work up of diagnostics by 3 the same day. Couldnt afford the bill to rebuild it (not worth it on such an old ride), so I cant speak to the work that would have been done. The phone ettiquette, speed, and straight-talk impressed me, though.

Adam Grassette, the owner of Sweeten Creek Automotive, went above and beyond for me and my family. He is our mechanic of choice, so when I found myself with a minivan that wouldnt start near 5 pm on a Friday in my daughters preschool parking lot, I called him. He asked me some troubleshooting questions. When nothing worked, said he would be over shortly. He came to her school, jump started my van (twice), called a nearby auto parts store to tell them what I would need and followed me to be sure I made it there. If this kind of customer service doesnt sound familiar when you think of your mechanic, maybe you should try Sweeten Creek Automotive.

Broken down 500 miles from home, and they were the only mechanic who could look at my car right away. Everyone else we called couldnt see us for several days. Im glad I ended up here though. Adam was kind, explained exactly what was wrong, and was able to fix the car and get us back on the road within two hours. I didnt expect such a happy ending! Though it is unlikely I will ever be back in Asheville, I highly recommend this auto repair shop to anyone who is in need!

My car broke down while I was on vacation in Asheville. I had it towed to Sweeten, and they were phenomenal! They had it diagnosed and repaired in less than a day and kept us updated the whole way. Their communication was great. It turned out to be a faulty tensioner and water pump from recent work I had done at my local dealership. They coordinated with the dealership on payment which was great. Sweeten and the dealership made a stressful situation much easier for me to deal with. I wish I lived here so they could be my mechanics.
