I had Safelite come to my apartment on 8/16/21 to replace the windshield on my 4Runner. When I went to drive my car the next day I noticed there is a large crack on the brand new windshield. I have been calling Safelite for the past week and no one will answer the phone. I also emailed their customer care department a week ago and have not received a response. Its frustrating enough that someone is going to have to come out and tear apart my car to replace the windshield for a second time but even more frustrating that its absolutely impossible to get in contact with anyone.

They were great! Had some issues recalibrating my collision system but they took care of it, and got it fixed. They also glued on a broken plastic piece on my door free of charge which I wasnt expecting at all. Great service!!!

Even vaccumed the carpet in my vehicle, of which was a nice surprise! 😊 They also took the time and explained the warranty on my new windshield and what not to do for 24 hours after installation.Thank you Safelite employees for making my experience the best it could be with the replacement of the windshield in my truck!I will definitely use your company again!

Went really well, very professional and in all ways they did a really good job. Really pleased and impressed! When I couldnt book my date through the website they called and it went better from there. Tech who helped me and installed the glass was a nice guy and professional and I liked the work. I called when I had a crack in my windshield. I was told I couldnt get an appointment for over 2 weeks. I asked if I could get a genuine Ford windshield, the guy booking my appointment said they would call and confirm that could be done. I never heard until the day before my appointment which was 7/4 so no one was in for me to call and ask. I called the morning of my appointment 7/5 and was told that it was a ford windshield, great. The woman on the phone said she would have the technician call me with a more accurate time estimate than the 12-5, I never heard from him. I realized after making the appointment that I have a holiday on the appointment day 7/5 (Im at a new job) but made the appointment location my work parking lot thinking that would be easier for me. I decided to just go to the office during the appointment window because that was my mistake. I called at around 2pm to check in, the woman at the shop told me the technician would call me with an idea of when hed be here. I never heard from him. I called at 4:40pm getting nervous, the woman at the shop remembered me and said she would spam the technician until he called me. He called me about 13 min later saying he would be here at 5:05pm and I was told the replacement would take 1-1.5 hours. I have to leave and am not waiting to see if he does or doesnt show up. So this company just wasted my entire afternoon/early evening. I asked for some sort of compensation for my wasted time, they said a manager would call. Well, Ive been told multiple times someone would call and have never heard from them so I highly doubt Ill hear from them... lol. Good luck if you book with them, hopefully you have more luck than I did!

Adequate service. Job was done on time. It was impossible to reach anyone at the actual location on the phone, however. That’s a bit frustrating.

I made an appointment weeks in advance for a specific time. When I dropped my car off at said time they told me the would get to it as soon as possible but it could take all day. When I told them that I made an appoint they looked into it. I was told there was some sort of an anomaly with my appointment but there was nothing they could do. I needed my windshield fixed so I decided not to get into it.They assured me that it would be done by 6 pm but they will call me when its done.I await all day. Nothing. So at 5:30 pm I decide to go check on my car. Im now told that they got behind and had to call in the mobile team members to come help. They had just started on my car and it will most likely be done after 6.Poor communication. Poor customer service. Poorly run.I suggest never using these guys but if you do use the mobile service. My father in law is planning on using them but Im going to convince him to use someone else.Never coming back unless I get a refund.

I needed a windshield repair. My insurance company recommended this place. I was super pleased. I was able to schedule an appointment for almost immediately and in and out in about 20 minutes for a crack repair. The staff was all really friendly.

They cancelled our appointment for no apparent reason & we have not been able to attain new appointment time!! No human available to help or even explain. Jerks!

Expensive- and my replacement glass had a scratch in it but they sent me away with it anyway. After replacing it, I am now noticing condensation on the inside of the glass in the cabin. SMH.

I needed a new windshield badly. I researched prices, and found Safelite to be reasonable and competitive with the others. Booking my appointment online was a breeze. I chose to have the work done at my house, and Mike was promptly on time. It took around 2 hours, and I got a far better windshield to replace the original on my Honda. Mike even washed my other windows before he left! All in all, Im very pleased with the professional, friendly service I received.

THEY DO NOT WARRANTY!! THEY ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE! I am a honest decent person, I do not lie! Installation error caused a crack in my window ( I know this as it’s happened years ago from experience) and they pawned it off on a impact that’s isn’t the case

I brought my wifes car to this location to get the windshield replaced (insurance claim) at 8AM as it was scheduled a week ago on-line.Rich Maier calls me 10 minutes after I drop off the car to tell me they have the wrong windshield for the Rav4 Hybrid that was scheduled for the replacement.He told me they could the right one at 10:30AM today, which isnt a big deal. I told Rich to make sure the windshield has the factory tint at the top of the windshield (not clear).We showed up to get the car at 3:50PM. I looked at the wind shield and noticed it was clear, not factory tint which is what I ordered. I then noticed all kinds of scratches on the driver and passenger pillar (left and right of the windshield). You can clearly see where technician 404 was rubbing up against the paint.I brought this to their attention, Rich tells me its not big deal...it only scratched the clear coat and to take it to The Wave so it can be buffed out and hands me his card. gee, thanks.No, I didnt bring my wifes car to Safelite Autoglass 7985 Allison Way for you to scratch up the car and now I have to fix it or have it buffed out. You guys didnt even pay attention to the work order, if you had you would see that I also ordered new windshield wipers to be installed with the new wind shield..You didnt even do that part right.My wife is upset, I am upset with Safelite AutoGlass and now we have the wrong windshield (no factory tint) and scratches on the paint. You guys needs to fix the situation with the correct windshield with factory tint, pay for the work that needs to be done to fix the scratches on the paint that technician 404 did.I expect a phone call from Barret the store manager before take this up the chain of command. I have never had such a terrible experience with Safelite before, and I have used them for years...When they used to be Elite Auto Glass. Ive used this location twice in the past. At first they seemed to do a good job, which is why Ive gone more than once. I went to another shop to replace my windshield because of a leak. I was told by that technician that it happens when it is not installed properly. I was also told that there is significant rust around the frame, also due to poor installation. Im glad I went elsewhere because Safelite does not care about quality.

Top shelf glass, perfectly melted from the sand, and clear, not brown or green like some of those bottles you see.

My experience with this company was good, the one time I had my windshield replaced, but now I need another windshield replaced and cant get a human being on the line. Apparently they pretty much shut the company down since COVID. I dont want to talk to their e-mail. Why cant they keep one person on to answer a phone over there?

Safelite was twice the price of the competitor that I found to replace my windshield. They replaced the windshield in 2014. When I pointed out that it looked like the crack was coming from the side and not a chip they disagreed with me so I went with the more cost effective glass repair place. The company that replaced my windshield pointed out (near the large crack) where safelight had incorrectly installed the windshield and bent the rubber seal. Luckily this new company was able to repair it.

I’d leave a review with 6 or more stars if I could, because they absolutely went above and beyond for me. Ryan and Mitch are truly amazing individuals.I purchased a RAV4 from a well known dealership [which shall remain nameless] with pre-existing rock chip that I was under the assumption had been repaired. Two months later, it split. With also needing a calibration, this was close to a $700 replacement. I called the dealership and after explaining what happened, they were only willing to cover half. Unfair. Safelite was able to work it out in my favor and I seriously can’t thank them enough during these less than easy times. I will never forget those two and what they did. Highly recommend this location!

As always their process is seamless. I had to replace my entire windshield. I made my appointment through my insurance carrier, I showed up on time they anticipated a 3-hour service call. They were done in an hour and a half. A safe flight has always been a great organization to work with

Great experience. Had to have our entire windshield replaced. Took a little longer than we would’ve liked to get an apt - just under 2 weeks- but the technician mentioned it’s always quicker to take it in. When booking an apt, we didn’t realize how much quicker so we opted for the convenience. Mike, our tech, went above and beyond. It was the very end of the day and he wasn’t sure they had exactly what we needed on site (distance sensor and rain detector). When he found out he did it was after 5 o’clock and instead of rescheduling or acting put out that he had to work late after a long day in the smoke and the heat - he was apologetic for making us think there was even a chance it couldn’t be done that day. He was super nice and efficient. Highly recommend going through Safelite and hope you get Mike!

I was fairly off-put by the well get you your car when we get to it attitude I was greeted with. I settled in expecting to wait 4-5 hours based on the estimate from the staff but was surprised to see the job completed in just under 3 hours. Not a bad job, just would have appreciated an honest time estimate!

I dropped my car off at 8 in the morning & got a call an hour before close that they had put the wrong glass in & that I needed to come back the next day, not a big deal things happen, but they went above & beyond to make sure the minor mistake was remedied! Kyle, the technician, vaccumed part of my car out, cleaned my windows & dashboard & they paid for the windshield wipers I wanted installed! Great service will definitely come back!

Took several days to get an appointment!

After receiving poor customer service and damage to my car, I would advise anyone needing their windshield replaced to not use Safelite. I had my front windshield repaired and received my car with scratches all around the windshield, roof, hood and drivers and passenger side pillars of the car. Needless to say, they did such a sloppy job in replacing my windshield.Safelite agreed to fix it but took two months and my constantly having to stay on top of them to get it done. I asked to be reimbursed for my windshield after all of the trouble I went through to get the damage to my car repaired and was told by the District Manager that I would be reimbursed for the full amount and then later told by the Manager, Norm Greer, that per an email from the District Manager I was to receive a $100 gift card. I have contacted Norm several times on the reimbursement of my windshield but still no response. What ever happened to great customer service, when the company went above and beyond to make sure their customer was satisfied and stood by their word.I went in to get a cracked windshield replaced and paid $350 of my hard-earned money only to receive a bunch of scratches all over my car and spent a lot of my precious time trying to get it fixed. Norm claims that they did their part in fixing my car, but I still have scratches on the Pillar and hood that he claims is not their responsibility. After the fact, I have noticed other customer reviews making similar claims - that is why it is so important to read reviews before you leave your car in the hands of an incompetent company like Safelite.POST UPDATED 9/21/19It’s been over 3 weeks since my post above and still no response or follow-up from anyone at Safelite regarding reimbursement on my window. Instead of posting a superficial response to my compliant why not start with correcting the problem with the customer who was wronged, Me, and then make sure it does not happen to anyone else going forward. Great customer service is about integrity and follow through.

Easy to work with, fast and efficient, filled a rock chip in my windshield quickly, they even vacuumed the front of my car!

Had 3 windows smashed out. Their glass clean up was terrible. Very bad job on that.

The service I received at this location was exceptional. The work was completed in the predicted amount of time, and the receptionist was beyond welcoming! A customer came in with a concern from another location, and the team worked professionally to solve the problem! I was genuinely impressed! I will recommend this location to family and friends anytime!

Their website review system is rigged and wont let me leave my review.Mobile service came out....Techs name was Ryan. The kid totally hosed both the Front and the rear window. He remove the seal at the top of the front windshield and found some surface rust. He then refused to replace the front windshield and tried to get me to agree to let them schedule my truck at a body shop for body and paint repair. Totally absurd! I told the guy to disco ahead and carry on with the rear windshield and I will have somebody else take care of the front windshield. He then totally screwed up the replacement on the rear windshield. He messed up the gasket when installing the window and the window is now sitting out on the lower corner. Needless to say the front windshield is now open to water and air coming in behind the windshield because he removed that the weather stripping / seal at the top of the windshield. Then he proceeds to tell me I have to take my truck into the shop to get it done correctly. I scheduled a meeting with the shot manager to drop my truck off this morning at 7:00 a.m.. The shop manager told me no more than 2 hours. It is now 2 oclock in the afternoon and the shot manager hasnt called me about the truck. I tried to call the shot manager but nobodys answering the phone. I tried calling the corporate office/dispatch and nobody is answering the phone there. I am beyond frustrated and will never do business with these guys again.Call All About Auto Glass LLC and ask for Larry. He quoted me less than 1/2 the price safelite did for the same job.

I just had my car serviced here and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly, my appointment was speedy and the quality of work was great. I will definitely be back if I need any glass repairs in the future. Would recommend!

Brought my 2016 Porsche Cayman in for a cracked windshield...Where do I begin? ...from the initial attempt and replacing the windshield with a 3rd party Fuyao windshield that wouldnt accept the gluing of the rearview mirror, waiting 3 more days for an OEM windshield to arrive, this location and particularly the attention to detail on this repair was clownlike at best...The technician scratched dash pieces, scratched trim adjacent to the rearview mirror and reinstalled trim pieces adjacent to the dash incorrectly and broke tabs on them.I didnt even seek remediation of that repair as I had learned my lesson early on in this ordeal and so much of my time had already been wasted.Oh and they called me up today and told me that they didnt charge my credit card at the time of the repair (2.5 months ago).They represent the fast-food of the autoglass industry and I will never, repeat never, darken Safelites doorway again. If you have a quality automobile, seek repair elsewhere. When its not about the money, you have other choices.

Hands down the best service i could have asked for and Mitch is amazing. I had a unique service contract and could not find any shop to help me coordinate with this company to make sure the replaced windshield would be covered. Mitch worked her magic and spend an hour on the phone with this company to make sure everything was in place. Other shops told me weve never done/worked with them and turned me away even though i tried to explain exactly what was needed. Mitch and this safelite location actually helped me! They are a shop that really looks out for the customer. She even typed out instructions for my unique situation so that in the future, itll be a smooth process.Oh and the actual replaced windshield is great! They were ready for me right when i showed up for my appointment and made everything easy. When i got my car back, all the windshields were wiped clean and even the front was vacuumed out!Thanks again Mitch and this safelite team!

I scheduled a technician to come to my house to replace my windshield. I was given a 5 hour window and when 5 hours came and went, I was unable to speak to a human. I had some errands to run so when I couldnt reach anyone, I went out. 30 minutes after that, I got a message that the technician was on his way. I wasnt able to get home in time. I didnt receive a call from anyone at this company. Instead I got an email the next day to reschedule. I wont use Safelite again and I will be sure to steer everyone I know away from Safelite.

I went to this location for service and had a great experience. The technicians were very friendly and helpful, and my windshield was replaced very quickly with no issues. I really like that they wash your windows and vacuum your floors too. Wish they would come clean my house.

I was not at Safelite.

My car maintenance is managed through a fleet company, but the little contact I had with Safelite was great. I mixed up the times for my original appointment, and the lady at the front rescheduled it with no problems. A week later when I came in for my new appointment everything went smooth. They let me know my windshield replacement would take about an hour 15 to two hours, it only took an hour. I had a great experience.

I expected better given these reviews. The technician showed up over an hour late and wasn’t friendly. When I came to the door he said “do you have the keys”. No “hi”, no “sorry I’m so late”. I was told the service included vacuuming out the old glass... I guess that meant only some of it. I still have glass on my seat and under the seat. Also left a bunch of glass all over my driveway. Wouldn’t recommend as a professional service.Giving a 2 instead of a 1 since my car is at least drivable. I can drive it to a car wash and vacuum it out myself.

The price is somewhat high but thats what it costs for a new piece of glass. The total came out less than what i recieved from the online quote which was unexpected. The technician Ryan was genuine and of great help. I have nothing bad to say about this place it went smoothly and the tech called to notify me when the vehicle was finished. Will revise the review if something happened with the installation a few days after. I would come back to this location.

I expect a company to honor their own policies. So when I see on the website that they can repair a windshield the same day, no appointment needed, just arrive before 2 pm, I expect to get that service. Instead I arrived at 12:30, and got dismissed immediately and told they could schedule me in next week. With the heat and rain weve been getting, I will most likely now have to pay a deductible to have the windshield replaced. I was told that they were booked full. Then I was told that they are only running on a skeleton crew. Sounds like some poor management to have a full schedule of appointments and no employees there to do the work.

I got a crack in my windshield, drive directly to them and it was easy to get the appointment set up online. Service tech was very understanding and helpful. The repair was quick, well done, and I have a warranty if it doesnt hold. Very thankful that it was so easy, took a lot of weight off my shoulders.

Did not appreciate the fact that I needed a windshield quote I called the phone number and it politely said that they were unable to make an appointment over the phone when I clearly was not trying to make an appointment over the phone I was simply trying to get a price quote I do not have time to get online and look at anything as I run a bonding business and I do not have time to do any of that thats why I was making a phone call to your business I was extremely unfortunate and displeased to find out that I could not even get a price quote I understand you might not make appointments over the phone which I also think is unprofessional however all I was looking for was a price quote and I could not get that and your machine basically told me to have a great day and hung up the phone I will not be rendering your services and I will also be letting people know dont even waste their time calling you guys because they wont even get a price quote

My first experience with Safelite was great. Got a crack on my windshield and scheduled an appointment here to get it fixedThe windshield was replaced in 1 hour and 50 minutes, pretty fast in my opinion. They had a lot of cars there. All the employees were kind and helpfulThe only hiccup was on my end with the insurance company but it got handled eventually. In total I was here for 3 hours

Had my windshield for my Hyndai Sonata 2007 replaced today at home and the gentleman named Mike did an amazing job. He was very professional and super nice and arrived before the time scheduled which was awesome for me because the sooner the better. Now I can go about the rest of my day and do my errands. I showed up a little bit early they took care of me right away took my truck back and started working on it right away pointed me to the waiting area and refrigerator with complementary drinks and tv to watch while you wait. Nice place friendly and polite and professional. The tech doing my truck came out and let me know my truck would be ready in 10 min and it was parked out front nice and clean and smelling good ready to go. I will definitely be a return customer.

Finished my carbut this was not the first Safelite that I went to the first one was on Wadsworth just after I was South Im just after Alameda and they were very rude very disrespectful not good customer service I almost gave up on Safelite but then I found the shop on 80th and Ambrose was one of the best Ive ever dealt with and the front desk fantastic I am still and will continue to be a Safelite customer its been 10 years and itll be another 10 years if Safelite represented like the second shop represent the safe light

I made an appointment online and received an email and text message confirmation. On the day of the appointment, I went online to confirm my time and was told that I didn’t have anything scheduled, despite having a work order number. I then tried to call Safelite to work through the issue and was on hold for 45 minutes, before hanging up. I tried to call back later in the day and was on hold again for 15 minutes. I gave up and called a competitor. Terrible service!

Decent staff and very pleasant environment

I scheduled an appointment and based on reviews, it seemed to be about 2 hours to do this and it turns out they said it would be an ALL DAY thing even though my appointment was at 7:30am. At the end of the day at 4:30pm, they never called me to let me know my car was done, I had to call them and guess what? They had to transfer my call 4 times to find out that my car was not even ready.

The windshield they were transporting to their location broke en route resulting in an extra two days to get the job done.(Uber rides to work add up) No offer of any kind of discount for that, despite asking. Their reasoning was we already told them we had AAA so it was the best price they could offer. We dont we charged for 3 months and then we see corporate had added a discount as an apology for charging the card so late. Either a dishonest company with employees that have their hands tied, or dishonest employees.

They claimed on the phone that they would do my repair and then called back the next day and changed their minds. They wont do sunroofs and are liars.

We set up the appointment online, and the technician arrived on time. All I had to do was unlock my car, and then pay him when the job was completed. Very fast, clean, and well done. He even re-installed my ExpressToll tracker.
