I tried five or six stores trying to find a Farrow & Ball paint color with no success. Went in looking for a comparable Benjamin Moore color. The gentleman was so helpful. Chatting while the sample was being made, I mentioned I couldnt find what I wanted. He asked more about it, & took the time to check, & found it for me. I truly appreciate the amazing customer service I received. Finding the color I wanted was an added bonus!

This Ace hardware store recently went through a major renovation and it definitely helped it feel more modern. If you feel like you don’t know where something is, the kind employees are always knowledgeable and point you in the right direction. What also helps is that you typically can find an employee compared to Home Depot and Lowe’s.The only thing is that this store doesn’t have everything those larger stores have which is understandable but still annoying I will often have to resort to going to one of those stores in tandem with this one.

Had to repair a bathtub valve on July 4th for a friend. Their plumbing expert (I think his name is Mark) was the greatest help. I would not have been able to complete the repair without his help. I had to return several times due to multiple issues with the valve and he was helpful every time. Customer Service is so much better than the big box stores. I highly recommend this place.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff and management.Recently had an issue with a fairly expensive ($650) piece of equipment that was purchased there and had been assembled incorrectly by the manufacturer. Within an hour, I had a new unit in hand and was back to work.

They are SO proud of their stuff. Prices are so ridicules.Home Depot and Lows will beat them.

You definitely pay for the convenience but the staff here makes up for the cost. You get that small town feeling when you talk to the employees and they are very knowledgeable, plus its walking distance from my house.

Soon as I entered the door I was greeted very nicely! It wasnt 1 minute and someone asked if I needed help..I was in and out in minutes..instead of wandering around lost like a lost puppy! It was my first time and I will go back again!

I have been ordering from Westlake Ace Hardware Tags for years and have never been disappointed. Have multiple dogs and cats and prefer the tag that feeds through the collar so they dont get caught on anything outside. I always recommend to friends with pets!

The new remodel looks good.. Associates are still friendly and helpful. Checkout set up like Frys used to be with one line and multiple registers. Usually, either fInd what I need or they know where else might have it.

They. Currently have 90 percent off a bunch of items. I was very fortunate to find some nomacast rods and shop vac filters for less than 2 dollars per item. Disappointed I made a special trip to purchase an outdoor timer their website said was in stock. I could not find it in electrical so I asked the only clerk I could find. She acted like she knew where it was,only it wasn’t there. After checking her stockroom, she said it was in their Christmas stock warehouse and it had to be special ordered for me if I wanted it before Christmas

Bigger isnt always better, but this time it is. This Ace hardware has been totally remodeled. Its bigger, and brighter and much easier to navigate. The one thing that hasnt changed, the knowledge, and friendliness of the staff. This is definitely the home of the helpful hardware person.

I am disappointed in the new atmosphere following the remodel of the Westlake Ace store in Arlington, TX (near Pantego). The re-organization is not the issue but the modernization and changes from the country store feel are not to my liking, particularly the change from hometown/country music to the hip-hop music. I do not understand why you would think this will bring more business since the store was almost always bustling with patrons. I often shopped there just browsing the isles and finding items of interest because it was comfortable. Well, I guess those days are over. I will probably continue to shop there for items that I want to pick up quickly but that will be it - no more browsing due to a lack of comfort for me.Regrettably - a former regular customer,

Needed some screws. Greeted at the door. No one else asked if I needed help. Until I found the right department and clerk helped me find just the screws I needed. Sacked up in its own handy pricing bag.

Ace is already the premium hardware store, but this westlake location really takes the cake. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, and many of the staff have even come to know me by name. The recent remodeling look spiffy as well.

Always have the custom screws I need

Worst than a convienance store. Unorganized. Barely can get help. Over priced. They are renovating. Maybe they can figure out an understandable layout for customers to find something. One time I stood trying to check out for about 35 minutes because the system went down and cashier said it happens often. I felt bad for the workers. Its nothing more than paying a high price to not drive a mile down the road but end up spending twice the amount of time to find anything if they even have it.

Service is always great, but they are going the extra mile by staying open even though the do not have power due to weather. And, you could still pay with a credit card.

As always, very friendly, with anything you need. And some you need but is pretty cool anyways.

I love this store they have pretty much anything you need, taking a star away cause they are also very pricey when compared to other stores.

Darla was a real darling. Its sweet kind personality like hers that keep smaller stores from going under due to larger retailers. She deserves great recognition for the way she handles customers.Mark is a very knowledgeable guy, however I feel he lets his workload get to him. He will stop what he is doing to come help but he will always express sarcasm in his demeanor and the way he delivers his help.

It used to be better as an independent hardware store, then Ace Hardware got them. Some of the people are helpful and others are clearly just there for their check. Selection of parts has changed too and not for the better. I only go because its convenient to my house but Home Depot is more frequently meeting my hardware needs with a better selection and better and more motivated staff.
