It was SO good, literally my new favorite rolled ice cream spot😋Update: Just wanted to come back and say I came again and the service was just as good, if not better, than before! I highly recommend coming here!

I just went into La Moo and the staff were incredibly rude. They essentially treated me like a second-class citizen and asked me to wait outside on a dripping wet bench because I didn’t bring the “right” kind of mask (I was wearing a cloth face covering, which last I checked was allowed). None of the staff were in N95s, either. I just moved to the area and am appalled at the service here- will find a different go-to.Edited to add that I appreciate the response! There was nothing on the door stating that masks including mesh are not “allowed”. I have been wearing that mask in public for a year without any issues, so being asked to leave was shocking. Also, the staff I spoke with were not wearing surgical masks- they were cloth. If you want to police people’s choice of mask, perhaps you should ask staff to wear N95s so that it doesn’t look like hypocrisy. Also, I noticed that you took my order before telling me to leave on account of the mask. If my mask was dangerous to others, Im not sure why I wasn’t immediately asked to leave instead of asked to put in an order.Thanks again for your response and best of luck as you attempt to even-handedly enforce what seems best to you.

Me and boyfriend went there because we wanted to try rolled ice-cream for awhile. It was ok . I got the kiwi one with fruity peddles added. . My boyfriend got the one with the mashmello. He was not a fan. He said he can make better ice-cream at home. Also we asked for whipped cream. We got none and I wanted alot. I love whipped cream.. We dont plan on coming back

Fun to watch the ice cream being made and rolled up. Enjoyed the suggested combinations. Great spot for quick ice cream. Even had a step stool for kids to watch behind the plastic screen!

Great flavors. I get boaba in a bowl gf - its perfect! No dairy, so its gentle on my tummy and its mixed in a clean machine to avoid gluten contamination.The whole family loves this place!

Have taken kids here many times but mask requirements that exceed local mandates and rude staff will ensure we wont come back.

I cant comment enough about how tasty this ice cream is! Highly recommend.

My Mom and I went here after getting pizza at Pietanza. We thought it was like a normal scoop shop where you just pick a flavor and they put it into a cup or cone. It is not. Its one of those places that mixes flavors on a flat plate and then rolls the ice cream up with utensils that look like spackling knives.I got Smooores and my Mom got Coconut Crunch. We loooved it. We werent that hungry so we got kid sized and its really probably enough for most people.Everyone working this Thursday evening shift was great. It was an organized crew and they served everyone pretty quickly considering it was very busy.

Okay guys, Let me learn you a thing about La Moo. This place... oh this place. I would die for this place. My mother wanted caramel ice cream and they didnt have it so you know what they did? They said Yes Maam and MADE caramel icecream! They are the La Moo of my life and I La Moo them right back!

A very novel idea that makes ice cream not only VERY delicious but also fun. Many ingredients to choose from and you get to watch the whole process of making hand rolled ice cream. They use real and fresh fruits. I enjoyed the texture and rich flavor. Worthwhile to pay a visit!

The desserts here are pricey, but considering the area and how expensive everything else is around here Im not surprised. They do bring a rare art of making Ice Cream from Asia to showcase

The strawberry chocolate Japanese crêpe did not seem much different than any traditional one and was a little bland - in disclosure: I didnt add the optional ice cream.The ice creams are better, very rich and creamy that you would not expect from a rolled ice cream. Plenty of toppings options.

This place is stupendous! Have fallen in love with rolled ice cream. We all love watching them make the rolls. So many flavors to choose from, and toppings.

I dont really get this place. The ice cream is made in front of you into rolls, which doesnt really give you the texture of ice cream. It also means waiting. You add toppings to make a creation, but they dont add enough, just a sprinkling on top of some whipped cream. Only one size offered, at $6.75 with two toppings, so you cant just get a scoop of something for smaller appetites. The place seems like it was striving for a new concept or innovation in ice cream, when what we really need in that plaza is a place that just gives you a scoop or two of really good ice cream.

I have been going to this little shop since it opened. They have a solid selection of base flavors and an absolutely incredible amount of topping selections. The serving size is plenty and if you join the rewards program you get a free ice cream every x amount of purchases (I cant recall how many it is but it works out to be around every 8-10 orders I believe)

Stopped by last night and I got to say it was a real disappointed. The ice cream was meh. The price didnt make it any better. It is pretty expensive if you ask me for a cup of ice cream. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone wanting something sweet.The ice cream cups we got were- Strawberry Shortcake- Muddy- forgot the name...

Many rolled ice cream shops have popped up in the area but our friends and family still like La Moo the best. Not only because the staffs are friendly and they also have the most selections compared to the others. And so far they are the only one to accommodate kids size, gluten free, nut free, seasonal flavors and during our visit today we tried out their new Japanese style crepes which was completely new to us and it was delicious. Also their moo shakes are delicious as well.

R really tasty and fun treats, and you get a lot of ice cream... I suggest the kids portion unless you have a huge sweet tooth. Pieces are a bit high to, but the quality is there.

New to Arlington and was out exploring the neighborhood when I came across this little neighborhood Thai ice cream parlor which also serves Japanese crepes. Entertaining combination and very delicious. Will definitely add it to my list of places when friends and family visit. Will definitely be back to try out all their different flavors.

La Moo Creamery is great! The ice cream is delicious with so many unique flavor combinations to choose from. Plus our kids LOVE watching the staff make their ice cream roll creations! Gary and the staff are friendly and courteous. We love going to La Moo!

You can’t easily find such a great Japanese style ice cream and crepe shop like this in Virginia.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Its so good !!! I finish it all every time. A bit over priced but its really delicious. A nice treat every once in awhile. They do run deals often if you sign up for their texts.

Second time ordering online and both times they didn’t check for our order and after placing a pick up time well in advance, I was then required to wait 15-20 minutes to get my order. One time I can forgive but twice is enough.

I always enjoy a sweet treat from la moo. They have various flavors and great toppings to choose from. The customer service has always been friendly and wait time isnt too bad considering they have to make the ice cream and not just scoop it.

Its okay. Unique way to serve ice cream and lots of combinations to make it your own. Didnt wow me like many other ice cream places have.

If you want good ice cream this is not what you want. Mixing in sprinkles and other toppings is the only thing you taste.ie: if you ask for chocolate ice cream you will get a $6 cup of frozen cream that has a slight dusting of cocoa powder in it :(

The only employee I enjoy is the blonde one. She has the best customer service. Everyone else is rude, impatient, and has awful people skills. I did not enjoy my visit aside from when she assisted me and I would not recommend going unless you specifically ask for her.

Its a fun little place with nice people on both sides of the counter. Its got both neighborhood appeal and an innovative method for prepping sweets. Because of all of that - the price point is understably a little north of what youd expect to pay for a single serving of ice cream.Where they come up a little short though is on product and prep time. It takes way too long and its not all that great - its just good. Also - there are very few places to sit and when its crowded youre basically sitting eye level with the midsections of like forty people. Or youre stuck outside in strip mall, albeit a tony one. For the calories, cost, and wait - theres got to be a better option.If youre likely to run into friends or you like hip new ways to sling ice cream its probably worth going - if youre looking for a quick sugar rush on your cheat day, find a five dollar shake at any of the numerous places that cater to that market.

Even though a new place, its made a big impression on my kids. They say its the best ice cream in town. The show is just a bonus to the taste. Glad to see a new locally-owned business have such immediate success!

Jenna was awesome. They just started serving the Boba Tea and new slushes and the Strawberry Mango Slush she recommended was the bomb!!!! This is the new hangout now after work!

Good ice cream, a lot of choices, and the wait isnt too bad. Make sure you know what you want before the register, because it can take a decent amount of time to choose.

Coming here is a genuinely fun experience, I love watching the ice cream being rolled after its ordered, and its made quickly despite being done by hand every time. The milkshakes are great, too!

The first time I came to La Moo, I enjoyed my Monkey Business ice cream - it was creamy and had good flavor - until I found a hair in it. I let the manager know and she kindly gave me a voucher for another ice cream. That was a few weeks ago, and I just decided to give it another go. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill: the service is nothing short of a total shambles - it took forever for the person at the till to take my order and she seemed to have very little idea what she was doing - and my ice cream then turned up incorrectly. It had taken so long to arrive by that point that I couldnt even be bothered to change it. I did speak to someone about my sons ice cream though: I feel like three slices of banana is a bit mean for a topping serving?!La Moo is a cute place to visit and their ice cream is tasty, but they seriously need to up their service game... and maybe Im getting old but they might also consider turning the music down a notch! Sorry La Moo.

I had no idea what to expect and I didnt like the product nor the experience. Maybe its my age but I just wanted a scoop of ice cream and some sprinkles and then be on my way. Their show is boring, unnecessary and not worth the time or cost. Want some ice cream? Go somewhere else.

Too labor intensive, way too long to wait for bland ice cream with barely any added toppings, tiny squirt of chocolate, an inch slice of a banana and a teaspoon of nuts in mine for a HUGE price--nearly $15 for 2 ice creams. Wont be back and sorry wont recommend. I just dont get it, but I tried to!
