Exactly, what a college bookstore should be, clean, organized, and with the ability to either hang out or get in and out without fuss. The upstairs book section has nice, wide aisles to find everything you need, and an online pickup desk to make it even easier. Downstairs is your typical college store, with several nice clothing options, etc. The checkout counter is huge, and multiple cashiers were ready to tackle any lines.

The store looks great and staff were present on both floors. It was super clean inside! I worked here years ago, and it has seen some changes, having the Starbucks there is convenient too. It looks great overall.

Expensive but you will find all things related to UTA including books, clothes, graduation stuff, gifts, apple products, snacks and necessary medicines.

I had a bad experience at this store. You might want to look at their return policy before returning anything back. I bought one of their books seven days ago. I had to talk to two different people for a simple refund. I wasn’t very appreciative of the way I was talk too.

I hate this bookstore!! Every time I go here it’s an issue. The employees always transfer me to the wrong department and I can never get the help that I need. I live too far to actually drive to the store so it’s frustrating when I can’t get help over the phone. I really wish the textbook department specifically would do better. They have poor communication and customer service skills. I can’t wait to graduate and be done with this bookstore!!!

Great experience. Theres also a Starbucks inside. Its a bit pricey and doesnt have enough celebratory items like plates, cups and napkins or even the small felt flags..or miniature basketballs. I would appreciate more of these items in a party section...especially near graduation.

We were hoping for a better selection of specialty items. Alumni like college bling too!!

I am so frustrated with this bookstore. I tried to order a t-shirt from the website twice last year, both times saying it was in stock on the website, and then had my order cancelled because they actually didnt have it in stock. The first time they refunded the order amount but not the shipping and I had to follow up with them to get that corrected. I ordered a textbook last night that said it was in stock and then 5 minutes later received an email saying the book was backordered. Beyond frustrating!

Has a real good customer service attitude

Pros: Found everything we wanted. Staff was friendly. Was open for move in Sunday.Cons: Clothes are pricey. Clothes are limited in larger sizes.

My daughter is graduating from UTA Nursing. My son help her with her cap and robe. It was so very sweet brotherly and sisterly love.

I came here to pick up an online order. The bookstore is very nice! There’s a Starbucks on the bottom floor and the whole building has a very modern aesthetic. The only issue is that they were not initially able to locate my order. After waiting for a few minutes, and having to give more information, they located it.

I love our UTA book store!

It a nice place where you can get all of the branded stuffs of UTA merchandise( Under Armour, Columbia, Champion). It has two floors. Clothing and Tech in first floor, Textbooks at second. I work here and people here are really amicable and kind.

This place is well organized. Though the staff was slammed due to textbook orders, they were incredibly helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of stuff, there was even pepper spray that I bought and tested the same day :)

Best place to get your UTA gear.Lots pf deals! Bit there are some items that are more than $30. To $200. Crew are nice and place is clean. Place is usally open year round but some time I find it was closed. Place also has a Starbucks next to it. Books for school upstairs. And also has Computers for sale too and Tech store. .

Wide selection of UTA gear, a Starbucks, and an Apple store within the bookstore. Very clean and organized. I wish there were better sales/discounts.

Cool merch and everything but they tried to charge me late fees for books I never picked up. I even called them to check them in at the ended of the semester and they said they would but instead they charged me late fees and sent my name to a collection agency, and after I called them again to get it settled they only canceled one book. So I hated my textbook experience with them, And their overpriced for everything anyway.

Great parking and low crowd

Dont come if you dont have too. Long lines to get in due to coronavirus and you have to wait outside in the Texas heat for a good portion of your wait. Not to mention one you get inside you still have to wait in another line before you can get your book. Highlight of the day starbucks employee bright us water.

This place would be great if their prices were not as high as they are and the staff was a little more competent. They really need to hire people who can speak and understand English better than a lot of their current employees are able to... That communication breakdown really makes getting your required books a bit of a challenge every semester. On the brighter side, they do have a nice selection of drafting tools, electronics, and other accessories as well as a on-site Starbucks. So, three stars for, Not bad, but NEEDS IMPROVEMENT... I put this review on Yelp and will put it everywhere, because I do not want other students to get treated the same why the manger and the front disk Lady treat it me.It is the worst store and worst costumer service I have ever seen. The manger and the lady at the front disk. They even do not respect the students. I have a return (I just opened the bag and never touch it, I did not use it due to the postponement of commencement) and you can see the return policy online it says:Graduation Regalia (cap & gown) must be in new condition and will not be returnable if warn or altered in any way. Product must be unused in order to receive a refund. The last day for a full refund is 30 days after the purchase date on your receipt.After 13 days I was wont to return them. They said we do not return due to Covid-19, but I sow them accept the returned books. When I told them that, then they said we do not return because it is open bag and I got it like that. I show them the website policy. They just try to find any excuse.Finally, they said do not try, and we will not return them in a very rude way. I was speaking with manger of the store after. The lady at the front disk I think in her 50s was very rude too.I feel very bad about this and the way they treat the students, not because they do not return it. I was very polite .

The place is nice, clean, and well stocked. It should be called the apparel store. It has tons of UTA gear! And upstairs a queue to pick up your $700 books.

The place is very good along with a Starbucks, if you get thirsty, which will definitely happen in Texas heat. Its very spacious, nicely ventilated and good service. Everyone is very helpful. The only thing is that its not cheap. Almost everything has a higher price, but they give you the books at a cheaper price if you show the cheaper price on any of the online websites.

The staff was very helpful in finding my sons books for his courses, even though they didnt have one of the software that he needed for a class.

Picking up graduation ring

Worst experience I ever had. I was told an order was canceled 3 times by 3 different people, but that was a lie. I am now being charged for a book that was suppose to be canceled. I dont have money to waste. Unable to come to the bookstore (which is pointless anyway because material listed online is not very accurate) because of work. Unable to get ahold of anyone. If you can help it avoid ordering any textbooks from them.

Long lines and checkout is mixed with book rental. Not ideal but there are lots of useful things available.

Its not just books alone (atleast I thought so). Was fun when I visited here. Good for kids with a variety of toys and puzzles. Scientific toys and remote control cars. Atmosphere is calm and not so crowded. I really liked the experience.

I ordered online access to an Elsevier course the day before my class began . We were told these were back-ordered but that we would receive the codes to access the material within a few days which was fine, I did wait until last minute. Two weeks and at least 15 phone calls later I have just received this code 13 hours before my first test closes. I am extremely unsatisfied with the UTA online bookstore. I would urge you to purchase or rent materials from other outlets if possible.

Its a nice place to grab beverages, snacks, and relax to some background music. Wi-Fi is available. There are places to sit but limited. There are also places to sit outside.

Super friendly service

As a student, this place has a lot more worth than most realize. Yes the textbooks and supplies may have a greater cost but they tend to price match like any grocery store. The staff understand that being a student can be tough and help ease your day as you search for books.

Staff is always nice but what would be a big help is signs/labeling where items or services are.

This is where you can find all types of Maverick regalia and knick-knacks along with books, papers, pens, pencils ... the usual bookstore stuff. The store is clean and organized. Dont see something you need? The staff has always been helpful to me. Be careful around graduation - it can get a lot busy. You can always shop online, but I suggest you pop into the adjacent Starbucks for a sip. Enjoy!

VERY expensive 😳

I have to say, I truly love this book store. Ive been to book stores on many different campuses and this one ranks right up near the top. At the beginning of each semester they are so organized and efficient with getting students all the books that they need to succeed during that term. My only complaint would be that all the apparel is super, super, super expensive. make sure that if you buy something on clearance and it says an additional percentage taken off at the register that you asked for it because they will not hand it out freely.

Staff are very friendly! Their selection of clothes, technology, school spirit merch, snacks, office supplies, and medicinal supplies continue to amaze me time after time. There is a Starbucks inside as well. All areas are kept spotless and organized. Easy to check out, and ask questions if you need to.

Finally got my alumni hoodie blue and it is very warm and nice. Recommended for all and alumnus and students to go buy there. 🤘🏻🙌🏿

Service was quick and easy. The employees are very friendly and have often given advice about books and classes. I would recommend to compare prices between the UTA Bookstore, Campus Bookstore and the Arlington Half Price Books everytime before going all in on a physical purchase, or rental, of a book. Great place!

UTA bookstore is one such place where you get total aura of Arlington. The bookstore is in a cozy corner right by Starbucks and carries everything from books to regalia, clothes to collectibles. It even has apple products excluding the phones.

Got most of what I needed for fall 2020. Staff was very helpful and professional.

Decent place. Only problem is they require certain materials from this store specifically and it can be a little pricy. I feel like students should have the ability to choose where to purchase things. Also limited parking out front.

Decent placce s0taff could do better

I made an online purchase two weeks ago and was told I would receive a notice when the item was ready to pick up. No message. I reached out by email last week and was, in my opinion, treated quite rudely by Cindy Medlin, who could not be bothered to look up my order (or even acknowledge the error). I called just now and it appears the item was sold, even though I had already paid for it. Now begins the process of trying to get a refund I guess. Very unprofessional and a waste of my time.

The employees were nice and offered help finding things I was looking for. There is a Starbucks attached to this building and a bunch of cool UTA apparel. My only complaint is how darn expensive all of the clothes are. I’ll just wait for something to end up on the clearance cart.

Could be better. Had the wrong textbook for one of my classes. Had to go to TCU bookstore, and pay more, all because UTA bookstore had the wrong book in stock.

I was very impressed by this bookstore. The building was newly renovated and very clean! The staff was helpful and friendly. I went when the store was fairly slow so I cannot speak to how well they handle high volume traffic.The UTA Bookstore sells apparel, snacks, school supplies, and (of course) books. They are also an authorized Apple retailer.

Boring great stuff

Horrible experience with the service here at UTA bookstore. I ordered my graduation set and being told that it will be in soon and they will do express shipping. However when I called them to confirm my order they said that my order will not arrived until next Monday and my graduation is on Wednesday so I have to pick up the graduation set.

Clean, stylish, and organized like a college...digitally. electronics section for laptops and such, Starbucks attached. Always polite customer service, and most receipts have a coupon if you do the survey.

Helpful for getting textbooks for school. Price matching available and textbooks are organized by author last name. Has fun school supplies including UTA branded folder/binders and 100% recycled notebooks. The UTA merch (hoodies/ shirts/ cups) are average college store items and make a good gift for alumni. Good gifts include: ties, cups, desk plaques school rings and hats. Although UTA student culture doesnt make a huge deal about representation, the T-shirts are pretty comfortable and make a nice Freshman move-in gift. Like most college stores, it can get a bit pricey, so choose selectively,

Beautiful store. Books, Apple store, Starbucks. You name it. Besides tables and chairs from Starbucks, the bookstore has their own throughout the store for costumers. Its a great place to study as well.

A bit overpriced but excellent!

Students please avoid buying books from here. Just get them online directly from Cengage or Norton. This bookstore charges $100.00 extra for every textbook.

Great customer service! Paul, the manager, was extremely helpful with a special request.

The first time I went was okay, but the kiosks were broken and no one seemed to know where they going or what to do. It was too hot the setting was off. Plus, due to the technical issues the lines to purchase books was extremely long and they listed books that were never in stock. Love my school, but they will have to step it up next semester coming soon, yet there is plenty of time.

Love the staff here. All of my family of 5 have attended this school but why must the prices be so exhorbant? I go because of the school curriculum books that have to be purchased and can be found no where else, and staff is super helpful and friendly, but purchase only bare minimum due to prices.

This bookstore has never given me any trouble. All my visits are quick and painless. If I need a scantron, its in one area, and if I need a notebook, its in another. All rental transactions are upstairs; I should also note that I placed an order for several books at 3PM, and by 6PM that same night they became available. Cant ask for much more than that. :)

Aren’t all university bookstores overpriced? Very nice store with a Starbucks and a ton of university merchandise.

I receive pretty quick service every time I visit and everything is quite organized despite the store being really busy at peak hours. The only downside is the fact that almost everything sold is overpriced. You can find things that they sell way cheaper at other stores nearby.

Worst experience of any bookstore I have ever visited. With the syllabus in hand and ISBN numbers for the package I needed the 3 attendants could not comprehend I needed an individual package of books and not each sold individually. Finally after speaking to four employees one was able to help me. It sucks that the employees are all useless students with no customer service skills and lack personal hygiene.

Its a beautifully well-kept which makes it fun to find a new Mav . The sales staff is always very patient, friendly and helpful. My last visit was with a group of 70 9th graders that we split into three groups and the sales staff handled the large groups beautifully.

Nice building that’s always very neat and clean. Be sure to always check their website for business hours as they can change for summer hours, holidays, end of semester, etc etc.

Get most of your books here. Also good for some apparel shopping or Apple Devices. Great coffee in the adjoining Starbucks.
