I had a great experience with this place. It was just a simple tire change, but I felt like they really took care to do a good job. They were really fast and affordable. They also honored a manufacturers warranty when other places I talked to basically lied and said the warranty wouldnt cover it, even though the manufacturer itself told me it would. Honest, good folks -- if I need any more work done, Ill definitely go back!

I have been going to this shop ever since I was stationed at Henderson Hall when the Navy Annex was still standing. These are good HONEST people and I trust them at their word which is hard to find with most Auto shops! I truly do appreciate all the hard work they do and they have always given me a fair price for their work. This is a true diamond in the ruff. I even live further away now but I am always willing to go the extra mile. I have referred all my family and friends to them.

When they put in work tracking an electrical short, but needed a part before they could continue, they gave me the car back without charging me. I believe I have found my new auto shop for as long as I live in Arlington.

My car (An Audi A4)‘s catalytic converter needed replacement. A1 auto clinic replaced that for a total fo 1400$ however within a week of this change, the “new” converter was burnt out. I replaced it with Audi which cost an additional 3500$ however worked perfectly since. The Audi mechanics stated that the converter placed by A1 clinic was likely a cheap brand versus an old used part which led it to be burnt.The owner refused to refund any money and was extremely rude and discourteous. He is a cheat and uses old parts. One must stay away from this place.

I took my very first car, a 1982 Honda Accord, to them in 1992. they have always been honest, they have always been fair! I love them!! Their prices are always upfront and they are very family orientated. Once I had to put my car and truck in the shop at the same time and couldnt afford to fix the necessary stuff on one vehicle - They allowed me to pay them later when I got paid. How awesome is that?!?!! when have you EVER heard of a mechanic shop doing that. If you say that these guys are bad then something is wrong with you!!! This shop is the best!!!

I have been using this auto repair shop for over 20 something years and I have never been disappointed with the service provided. The customer service is very professional, the wait is time kept to a bear minimum, the repair work is accurate and the rates are within reason. I give this repair shop 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

They were honest, did good work on what needed to be done, and fixed a few extra things with the car at no extra cost. Even gave me a ride home while they worked on the car. I’ll go back.

Super friendly and fast. I brought a car in to get a headlight replaced. I tried it myself but was unable to do it. They took maybe 5 minutes and said no charge. Cant say a bad thing there! Will definitely revisit when I need work done.

Called for a quote on repair for a return line hose and Shinki told me to bring it in and when I did, he said I simply needed a new clamp on the line because the other one was lose and causing it to leak. He replaced the clamp for free. He is an honest mechanic who shops around for the best parts and he is fair priced. Will definitely be back. They are A1 indeed.

Very quick and satisfactory service for a tire patch. The owner seems to genuinely prioritize doing the right thing over making as much money as possible. Every other auto shop I called quoted me $35-48 for a tire patch, but A-One did it, and did it well, for $20.

These guys did an excellent job with my car. Im new to the area, but definitely glad I went to them. They were very fast on the repairs I needed.

Went in this morning to see if they had time for an inspection; wasn’t given an answer, was told to just have a seat—no estimate of time or other response, guy at desk was busy with his phone; I sat and waited. 10 minutes later, a man walks in and tells the guy at the desk how he just broke down outside and engine light is out, and the guy at the desk immediately begins engaging with the new customer, asking questions, giving info, etc. and soon that exchange is finished and new customer left to get his car ready for bay...and desk dude just continued to ignore me and went back to his phone. I get that an inspection isn’t a profitable service, but it’s an opportunity for a new loyal customer. I walked out.

My 90 Nissan broke down nearby and went to A - One because they were close. They quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote. I checked with other nearby shops and found A - One was reasonable. They are very knowledgeable about older Japanese cars. Better yet the shop is a quick walk from the Pentagon where I work. Ill be going here more often.

Went here to get my car checked out to see if it was suitable for a cross country trip. Experience was quick and easy, as well as being honest in their assessment. 10/10 finesse overload

I have been going to A-One for over seven years. They have never once over charged me, and on many occasions called me ahead of time to give me options if the repairs will be out of my budget. Coming from a small town I found this place to be very honest and they know what they are doing under the hood.

This is by far the worst auto clinic i have ever seen. My parents brought their vehicle in from out of town and unfortunately have been stuck here for the past few days. They were hoping for a quick repair and mentioned that they needed to leave the next morning. The owner quoted that they would be finished with the vehicle Thursday morning however later provided an extended date of when the vehicle would be ready. Now going into Saturday and a missed Anniversary weekend, they are still here in DC with an unrepaired vehicle and incompetent workers that lie about the hours put in on the vehicle. I would NOT recommend this location to service my vehicle. The repairs are at almost 1000 for a clutch replacement which in southern VA only cost about 200. The service is horrible, the owner is never there to follow up with customers and the completion dates on the vehicles consistently change.I am also beginning to think that this location is not race friendly. Im noticing a great deal of positive remarks from others however I have experience unsatisfactory service while dealing with the individuals that work here.

Ive been a client for over 9 years now and only been one problem they could not correct with my Tacoma. I keep going back because Mr. Paik is so honest!

Terrible. Dont let them waste your time. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Failed to fix my original issue with my car and then they charged the same amount to do something different that still didnt fix the issue! Wasted my time and money and did not feel bad about it one bit. Useless.

Where do I start? I took my car to A-one on January 28th, I left it there and called USAA because rodents chewed up some parts. He stated that ok he can fix it. during this process we have to wait on the adjuster. He is calling me asking me when he is coming(impatience) The adjuster showed up approved the work. a few says later He tells me that my car is ready. I go pick up my car up. Well the next day I look under the hood and discovered that he half did the job that he was paid to do. m y husband and I go back over to his shop, he was like ok I will fix it. (he took pictures) I informed him to submit a supplemental to USAA, well we waited no supplemental was submitted. So I called him and he stated he was waiting on a part. few more days went by I called him back he then ignored my calls, so I called from my home phone he answered when he heard it was me he hung up I called back no answer. My husband went back over there spoke with him he stated ok send me the pictures(mind you he already had pictures from day 1) I sent the pictures, no response from the text message with pictures, I called him again phone calls were ignored. So now USAA is tyring to contact him they left messages he did not return their calls either. So Mr. Pak was paid over 700 dollars for work that he stated on the estimate record was complete but in fact was not. Today is March 2nd, I still have not heard 1 word from him... I took my van to Bill Page Honda and it took 2 days to complete. I had to be inconvenience again by getting a rental. I will never ever go to this shop again. He did not even had the common decency to be honest with me about the work he did and he cheated me and USAA out of money. When ever I did call him or went by there he is very quick to say I have been in business 30 years, well if that is true, he needs to act like it. because in all my experiences with automotive business work... this has got to be the worse! Buyer Be ware!!!! I give them 0 stars if I could!

While the guys at A-One seemed to mean well, they dont necessarily have the highest mechanical knowledge. I took my car there to repair a grinding noise twice times. The first time they could not determine the problem and said to bring it back when it got louder. The second time it was louder and they were convinced we just needed to replace the brakes. After replacing the brakes they said the noise was gone but after picking it up, it was apparent they didnt even recognize the noise in the first place because it was louder than ever. Then another mechanic admitted that the brakes should never have been replaced and that he did not know the actual problem but suggested something about the transfer case that he couldnt fix.We took it later to AAMCO, where they identified the problem immediately as a worn engine mount - something much simpler than the transfer case and much less obvious than the brakes. While it was agreeable that A-One only charged us for brake parts after negotiating, we should never have had that repair done in the first place because their recommendation was completely incorrect. If you want a mechanic to analyze and fix your mechanical problems, take it to AAMCO, not to this little garage.

$134 quote to replace only rear pads on a Toyota is highway robbery. It takes 15 to 30mins and shouldnt be more than $50. Friendly guy who answered the phone but no thanks.
