If youre wondering if you should go here, stop wondering and get your car over there now. These guys have been tuning and fixing Honda in the same location for like o over 20 years and that says ALOT. Most shops pop up and die off or move 10 times a year, not Redline.. they do great work and are one of the extremely few places I trust to work on my car if Im not doing it myself. Ive personally taken countless cars to them since 2005. They work on all sorts of Imports but they are definitely established in the Honda culture as one of the greats

Took my car to 3 shops and all of them threw in the towel. Finally made it here and drove my car home within a few days time. Turned out I had a clogged vacuum line and I went ahead and got my power steering fixed while they had it. Im glad I dont have to borrow cars anymore to make it to work anymore.Thanks guys!

Great Customer Service, Best Honda Guy in DFW

I take my car up here based off a recommendation from a friend because my girlfriends car was overheating. This mechanic named Dylan fixes the radiator, thermostat, and a sensor to make sure the fans turn on. We get our car back and the very next day the car engine is shaking and the check engine light is flashing and now its hard to accelerate. We have never experienced this situation before so we take the car back up there to see if they can help figure out what the problem is. Initially he says its the spark plugs but my girlfriend lies and says we just recently fixed those just so we can see what he says. He calls back and now says theyre good but the spark plug wires are what needed to be changed. We were already skeptical based on the fact that we took our car up there because it was overheating and now were experiencing something totally different just a day after they gave it to us. With him changing his story for the spark plugs based off a lie just confirmed to us that they werent being honest or doing what they were suppose to do. We decide to just take our car but once we get it and try to drive off the car immediately powers off. We get under the hood and noticed that not only is the part that holds the hood up missing but they also didnt put on the air filter housing unit. My girlfriend notice this accidentally while trying to figure out what happened to her piece to hold up the hood and touches the air housing unit and it flips completely over. They never put it back on when they took it off to fix the overheating and now the car isnt acting right.

They rebuilt my 99 Honda Prelude Engine and it runs great! Then brought back my wifes 2015 Taurus Limited and had them do a tune up on it and fix an AC issue. These guys are excellent with great customer service and have been around over 20+ years. They know what they are doing and will treat you right!

Honda experts. They know what they’re doing. Don’t know them by name but the older gentleman took care of my car very thoroughly. Brought in an FK8 for a tune and dyno and after leaving it felt like a whole new car. Absolutely recommend!

Came in for some small fabrication work dropped off the parts needing work and went to eat lunch I was expecting a few days till it’s finish but to my surprise they called me back within two hrs and finished what I asked at a reasonable price. recommend!

DO NOT TAKE YOU CAR HERE. Was recommended by a friend about this place so I thought I’d give it a try. I have swapped my 94 prelude with a h22a4 motor. Needed timing checked to make sure it was correct, after market intake manifold installed, exhaust header just to be bolted on and vtec wired up with the Hondata s300 tune. Yes, most of this stuff I could have done but I work 6 days a week and decided to pay for them to just buckle everything else up for me cause I needed a tune anyways. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION first off, any time I called it was “were working on it” even after 2 weeks. Then when I started getting impatient and called a few times a day, I was told that everything was done, they were just waiting to tune it, was told it was even running fine?! Now I live and hour and a half from this place so I couldn’t just stop in to check on it. So 2 days after I was told it was started and running fine, they called saying I needed a starter which was weird cause it never had starting issues, told them to replace it for 175. Then the next day they said it’s leaking coolant and misfiring??? So I had decided to pick it up and be done with them. I was charged 1900 dollars for pretty much hondata and installing my intake manifold.... I had brought them a oil catch can to install as well, and when I got there it was still in the box I brought it in... asked them why I was charged for it and he said “oh my bad” and handed me 50 bucks back.. got the car back to my shop that I work at and starting diagnosing all these problems they said “popped up”. 1)they left the bolts to my water pump loose which is why it was leaking, 2) my timing was off, probably from the water pump being loose so it could have jumped time, 3) MY CAR STILL WASNT TRYING TO START! I thought that’s what the starter was for? Nope. It was a switch behind my clutch pedal that had gone bad. Now I have the head removed AGAIN replacing bent valves because they jumped time from leaving my water pump loose So just in case anyone decides to make the same mistake I did to save some of your personal time. Just work on your car yourself or take it to someone that actually knows what there doing. Never taking my car back here. And and all the wiring that they did for me looks like my 5 year old son did it. This place is a joke

I took my vehicle here and I got my catalytic converter fixed took them a week never had to wait that long and please do not call and ask for prices cause at the end when the charge u its totally different then what they said it cost me 800.00 to fix it and transmission oil changed and after they told me they normally dont fix american cars just foriegn (mine was a ford )I did ask why they fixed mine never got an answer the sad part was its in Arlington I live in azle I made it to lake worth and my damn check engine light came back on before I even got home I wouldnt recommend them

Went for an oil change and after they emptied the oil. They realized they couldnt open the filter. So I had to take it somewhere else to change the filter. Then the new place wouldnt change the filter with out changing the oil. Im disappointed. I wish they could of told me before they started they couldnt complete the job. I ended up spending twice the normal for an oil change. Dont get an oil change from this place!

I had a appointment at 10:00 I got their at 09:45, their was no one there. The first guy got there around 09:55, then the rest the other employees who had the keys to open the doors got there around 10:00, well that my appointment time. The first thing they do is move cars from one spot to another then move it again, then place another car in it spot, they even asked me to give them a hand and I did . This went on for about 35 minutes. They final got to my car and did a Dynojet test on my turbo. They notice that my muffler had came apart the guy ask me if he want him to clamp it back together I said yes. Since I help them move the cars I ask for a discount. The guy told me that was on me that I did not have to help, but no discount. They wasted part of my morning and I help them move cars around and NO DISCOUNT. What a waste of man hour for someone in business and to ask the Customer to give them a hand and no discount. This place SUCKS for the customer who has a appointment and have to help them out and waste part of your day for them, and NO DISCOUNT.

I went to Redline because I noticed the Hondas on their Google page and FB page, so I figured they would specialize and do good work on them. It all started when my car was misfiring, I changed the spark plugs, checked the coils, ran fuel injector cleaner, checked the wiring, etc. Still had a misfire code that would come and go and cause the car to run like crap and barely idle. I bought the car from Houston and brought it to Fort Worth, it already had a tune that seemed great but when the misfiring issues came, I brought it to Redline that same week as I couldnt figure the issue out. Redline told me they could try and diagnose it for $80 an hour if I remember correctly, but recommended I put the car on the Dyno at $100 an hour. When they did, I was told that my tune ran lean at low rpms and rich at high RPMs. They told me they could tune/touch up the low RPMs for $200 or a full tune for $350 or $400 (Its been awhile so I forget) So I opted for the full tune. The car was running fine while I had it there and it did not misfire while they had it on the Dyno. They spent maybe 30 minutes tuning it, and there was a teenager who worked there, complaining that he had to strap my car to the dyno. He also had a very hard time moving my car because I had a stage 5 4 puck with a 10lb flywheel, I offered to move it for him, he said he was fine while he revved the crap out of it to move it forward. I paid the owner ( they also had me sign a paper beforehand agreeing that I would pay for the labor.) I got my car back, and everything seemed like it ran well but the tune did not change the characteristics of my cars drivability at all it actually idled worse and more unstable, a few days later it was misfiring again and I could not figure out why. Redline never seemed interested in helping me and wanted to charge me $100 an hour to try and find the issue, so in the end, my car ran worse, I was out $350 bucks, and my motor actually ended up blowing up a few months after that. I had a K24 block/K20 head, eagle rods, acl race bearings, a rebuilt motor with only 10k miles. The reason it blew up was unknown, I had quality oil that had been changed not too long ago and a quality filter. Only pushed around 220 whp N/A with bolt ons. I do not recommend this place only because they dont seem to care about you and put any effort in, unless you want to give them money every time. I wouldnt be upset if I was refunded, but I highly doubt they would refund me, so Im not even going to try.
