I was afraid of damaging my clothes due to heating, but It came out to be great. I like the drop-off service but little expensive.

An honest mechanic that doesnt try to cheat you and shows you exactly what hes doing as well as does a great job in a timely manner every single time is rare to find and we have found that in Paulo. These guys are great! Convenient, fast, and affordable. Their prices are very fair - I trust them with the maintenance on not just my cars, but even light repairs on my box trucks. Lupe behind the desk is awesome! Very helpful! You cant go wrong with J & J!!!!

Hard working and honest people. They know cars well and do great work. Reasonable pricing as well. This is your go to place. and will continue to go here for any further car repair and any other future maintenance. Why go to a generic place that will lie to you to steal your money. You can even bring your own parts if need be, or let them take care of everything for you. As stated before I will continue to for my current cars and any future ones. :)

I brought my car here to have brake work done and to get new tires. In the shop, Juan talked me into getting almost new used tires. Fine, works for me. I get home and my brother looks and sees that there are no caps on them, which prompts him to look closer. Not only are they VERY used tires, but they are the WRONG SIZE for my car. This, after discussing the sizing in the office when I wanted to buy the new looking tires that were in the front office. He checked, said they werent the right size, but that he had ones just as good in back, that were right for my car. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case. Not only werent they the right size, the front driver side tire went flat over night. So I call and explain that the tires are the wrong size, and the front tire goes flat. Not only cant I finish a single sentence before Juan starts talking over me, telling me how wrong I am, and how this is my fault, Juan proceeds to tell me that I told him I wanted the wrong size tires put on my car. This man had the audacity to tell me that I TOLD A MECHANIC THAT I WANTED TO BUY THE WRONG TIRES. That upset me, and I asked Juan why he was lying, and he literally screamed at me, called me stupid, the rest wasnt in English so I couldnt understand what he said. At that point I hung up.I call my boyfriend, who originally brought me to this shop, and explained what happened. He calls me back, said Juan told him something completely different and he just wasnt understanding what I was saying, that theyll fix everything, just take the car up there, dont worry. Theyre going to order me 4 new tires (and Ill pay the difference), but in the meantime, go get the front tire that wont hold air, replaced. I go up, Juan apologizes in person, says hes sorry, it was a communication issue, etc. and one of the guys replaced the used tire with one that wont go flat. The following week, the tires come in, they left a couple messages (it was the 4th of July, i was out of town). That Friday, I call and asked the guy at the front desk to email me over a breakdown of the charges and what tires theyre installing. He says hell ask Juan, and get back to me. No problem. Tuesday, I get a voicemail from Juan, saying he invested his money in these new tires and why do I need to know what tires they are. I call him back and attempt to explain that I would like to know what tires were going to be installed on my car, and how much it would cost exactly. This request doesnt seem odd to me. Most customers want to know what theyre purchasing and paying for. But again, but I could barely get a word in while Juan went OFF on me. Screamed at me about how he invested in these tires and now I just want to know the brand so I can go get them cheaper somewhere else, to which I respond, Ive already paid $200 toward them, Im not walking away, I just want to know what Im getting. He flat out refuses to tell me what the tires are or how much I needed to pay for them. Let me be clear, the man replacing my tires (who already sold me the wrong size tires, and blamed me for it) has a problem telling me what the new tires are or how much I owe for them. When I finally get him calm enough to finish a sentence, I explain that I do want the tires, all I need is the tire information and an invoice. He explodes again, this time, calling me a stupid baby, a liar and more Spanish, which I dont understand. The first time he exploded at me, I was in tears, Im just not accustomed to being screamed at like that. Especially not from someone Im paying for a service. I think I was more in shock than anything else, and a little hurt. This time, however, I wasnt shocked at all, I asked him to calm down, repeatedly, tried to say that I wanted to have a conversation, not be screamed at over the phone. Im not sure he heard anything I was saying, he literally wouldnt stop yelling. At that point I was done, and knew I was out the $200 plus install for the worn/wrong size tires they sold me.

Honesty. I authorized them to change out my power steering pump. They called me and told me it was just a leak in the line, and the repair was going to cost less than half what they quoted me. Love these guys.

To begin ive been here a few times oil change, brakes I had no problems when it came to that... Always a man named Mario worked on my truck...Now let me tell you I came in another for a rim which he claimed he replaced..he did not..he straightened it out and took my money as if he got another rim.. Than the fool that I am came back in another time for my radiator to be replaced ..I still have the leak which is causing my radiator to over heat and my heater core to stink..I had it towed in cause of the leak he tells me my trans line needs to be replaced..he claims he replaced it ..now I blew my trans... Nothing more but Cons. Getting away with this mess

Have been going to these guys for 15 years.(Old name J&J Repair, off of 83) They can do anything like high level electronic diagnostics, replace an engine or repair a front end. Their prices are excellent. Their new location off of oakton is a little hard to find.
