Will never go here again. Looking for an igloo cooler. Called before driving over 45 min to get the cooler. They stated they had it in stock. When I arrived to the store, I asked an associate if they had it and he stayed he didnt. He was very rude and argumentative. Go to fleetfarn or somewhere else other than here.Responding to the comment. From the owner. It was not sold earlier as I asked and he stated he hasnt for a bit.

Went in to pick up a new furnace pilot generator for the thermostat in my camper. Was degraded and talked down to by an employee at the Menasha Kitz & Phiel Ace store. I will never go back to that store!I went to the Appleton location and got what I needed.

Its close to home, the people are helpful & friendly, and I can usually find what I need quickly.

They have everything for all your outdoor and indoor projects. Workers were very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend stopping in and getting all your needs.

Excellent customer service, I rented a post hole digger for a day and once started I knew I would need it another day so I called to see if I could keep it for another day and thankfully it was available for the following day.So the next day I awoke to a dreary rainy day and was unable to use it !! When I called them right away I was not only able to keep it another day but they waived the fee for the day I was unable to use it !!

I was glad they had the product in stock I needed, until I got to the checkout and realized they were charging me 15 bucks more than the other Ace Hardware on the west side of town! Total price gougers!

The service here is fabulous, they always can tell me where the needed items are right away so I dont have to wander around looking for ages. They also sell some great snack foods that I cant find anywhere else. I always go here first for any hardware needs before going to a big box store, Id much rather support a valuable local business any day.

I love this store and I prefer patronizing locally-owned businesses over big box stores, but there is one thing that drives me to Home Depot instead of Ace: the nonstop assault of the well-meaning can I help you? from every employee from the time I enter the front door until I get to the checkout. This might sound like a persnickity critique, but it becomes obnoxious after the second approach by an employee who cuts me off as Im on my way to get an item or when Im concentrating on finding the thing that I need to buy, to ask if they can help me when Im obviously on a mission to get what I came for and leave.This also seems like an inefficient waste of time for the employees, who probably have better things to do than annoy customers with forced friendliness.There is a help desk in the middle of the store that I would be glad to approach if I ever need assistance.Good customer service does not mean forcing employees to harass customers until they submit to the associates demands to help them.

Had keys for my car made on this trip. I love this place. The staff that works here are knowledgeable and friendly, helpful and attentive. I especially like the younger fellow who is extremely knowledgeable about whats in the store. Ive been coming here for a long time and the service has always been high quality.

Old fashion hardware store that has been in business in this area for as long as we have lived here-47 years. Can usually find hard to find items that were used years ago yet they are up to date on items as well. Sell paint, lawn & garden fertilizer, seed, grills, household items, rental equipment. Not sure if service is available now but use to do screen repair. Beautiful garden & plants in the spring.

3rd time there today. Number 1 & 2 were a great experience # 3 was over the top. I had a problem with my chainsaw blade and was shown how to fix it on my own....as I watched it being fixed. 10 minutes, & no charge for both the service and education......these guys are great!

Great Results From a Bad Experience! I rented a trencher, when picking it up Pat asked me if I had ever used one before. I told him I had. It had been years since I did operate one, which I didnt tell him. When I got it home, I couldnt get it to work. I returned the trencher and explained my problem, Pat apologized and explained what I was doing wrong, Then said to take it again and he would only charge me for one use. This was my mistake and Pat made it right. I will return and encourage others to use Kitz & Pfeil!

We just purchased a Green Egg grill w/table and brought it home on our trailer (strapped down by my husband and assistant manager). When we went to use it later that day we noticed that the bottom interior was broken. I called and they apologized and asked if we could come back and they would give us a new one asap. When I got there they were so helpful and apologetic it was nice to have great customer service. They also had me choose an item for my inconvenience. All the staff here present exceptional customer service, even back with their old company name before ACE. I trust their expertise and they are alway courtious as well. If they dont have what you need, they will tell you where to go to get it. Very nice and clean place to shop for plants, gardening, and household tools of quality.

He was extremely knowledgeable and overall provided me with fantastic customer service. Thanks to John I am now an Ace Hardware fan!

Brought my 2005 Murray Blizzard Snowblower in for a tune-up in October. Pricing was reasonable and the service was quick considering the time of year I brought it in at.Had an issue with the unit stopping upon load this month. The guys at K&P picked it up and had the problem resolved within a day. Excellent service. Theyve won all of my home improvement business going forward.

Brought in my snowblower that quite running during our April snowstorm they dont work on them until September unless they get caught up on lawn mower repairs which they didnt think was going to happen. I explained the problem to them and it instead of waiting 3 months they offered to take a quick look at it to see if they would get it running within 5 mins they did. I thanked them and brought it right back home. Great neighborhood hardware store very knowledgeable and helpful.

Service department is horrible brought in my snow blower to have the auger replace I was told it would be about $80 dollars so I said ok about 10 days later I got a call from them saying that it would be $200 dollars If i want it done so I said no. When I went to pick up my snowblower it was missing a plastic cover that some how they lost and when I called to ask what happened they had no idea where it went. Very unprofessional service

So I went with the intention of using my true value gift card that I had gotten awhile ago but didnt even realize this is an ace hardware now, or I guess it always has been? I blame Google for telling me misinformation.

Helpful but did not carry my shower diverter part. Had 1000 washers but not a tub diverter. Home depot had it, even though their tub repair section was 1/2 the size of True Value.

The place has gone down hill substantially. My experience is specifically with the rental department. WARNING they will automatically add the 10% damage waiver WITHOUT telling you. They then hide behind the fact they wrote it on a sign. That is completely unacceptable. My expectations are to be told what I am getting billed for and not having to find out later that an additional fee was charged to me without being informed by something other than fine print. Also the expectation is for you to be beating down their door right away in the morning or expect a late return fee. Its disapointing to see a local business that I have purchased $1000s of dollars worth in Stihl equipment from turn into a less than friendly environment.I got better customer service and better buying experience from Menards lately.To sum it up. Prepare to be scammed at the rental department and nickeled and dimed on your way out. Save the hassle and rent from Grand Rental Station 5 minutes away.

Terrible repair shop! I brought my snowblower in for tune up and to have them find out why it was leaking gas. At first the repair guy said it couldnt leak gas and that I must be mistaking water droplets for gas. I know what gas smells like and told them...However, they were not convinced!! They said carb needed an overhaul in addition to other items like skid shoes and friction discs. Well, the darn thing still leaks gas and whatever they adjusted when they installed new skid shoes now causes two lines to be scraped into my new concrete driveway!!!!! Ill have to try to figure out how to adjust the things so it is back to how it was before (never had any scrape marks). Im down $223.29 and it is worse than before. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TAKE YOUR EQUIPMENT ELSEWHERE!!!

Found what we needed for a really great price!

Today my friend and I went in looking for a tack cloth. We asked an employee( do not remember the name) where they were and at first he confused us. He said he was disabled and he told us to speak louder and repeat what we said because he had a stroke. He reminded me of my dad who walked and talked just like him who also had a stroke. He brought us to what we where looking for and I think it made him proud that he knew exactly what we where looking for! I am very proud that this company hires the disabled and treats them like normal human beings.
