My eye exam was quick, efficient, and—dare I say—fun. Dakota was wonderful. Made me feel comfortable, had a great sense of humor, and was super knowledgeable. Dr. Sadler joined us via video call, which was oddly cool. Connection was crystal clear, and she could hear me even though I was double-masked. I would totally recommend this LensCrafters location for your eye exam, and these individuals especially.
Nicole from the Fox River mall location was location was absolutely fantastic.. She was phenomenal with our two-year-old and got her in glasses that fit her perfect and was patient with her while she tried them on herself and got right down to her level so that my very shy daughter was comfortable working with her.I would highly recommend anyone with infants or toddlers go here.

I had been going to this location for years with little to no issues, and for some reason I went some place else for two years. Two different clinics and they did not compare at all to the service I had received from the Appleton location. I returned to LensCrafters, Appleton and they are even better than before. Friendly, knowledgeable and the manager was amazing.I am 57 and have been receiving eye exams yearly since 8 years old. This was the best exam to date! Dr.Wilde was thorough and easy to understand, and kept the exam light and fun. Thank you Dr. Wilde, YOU ROCK! (give her a raise). And also to Team Appleton, you guys are AWESOME! Thank you!
If I have to tell you how my glasses fit you cant do your job. Opticians are getting lazier by the day. Afraid of touching ears and hair to check how your glasses fit. And this isnt just about COVID. Just lazy people. Dont want to touch people or get near them then quit!!!!
They always answer their phone when calling to see where they are located in the Fox River Mall. The receptionist gave great and accurate grid coordinates to make finding their store a breeze! The receptionist was just wonderful and understanding of the fact I was running a little behind that day. I wish I could give this location 10 stars!

She listened to what I was looking for, offered suggestions that matched my style, and offered a pricing that was very competitive. Highly recommend the Appleton location. Experiences with other eyewear stores in New Holstein and Green Bay were not nearly as enjoyable.
Overall very happy with my first appointment! The girl that helped me pick out my new glasses when I couldn’t decide was so nice! Only thing is, is that I was never told how long it would be to get my trial pair of contacts.

Lens Crafters adopts high tech for eye exams. 3D and image behind your eye diagnose retina and macular problems. I had my eye exam after four years and Dr. told me you there are minor changes and may not need new eye glasses. How much honest . I have Lens Crafter from last 20 years.

Mozel was super helpful! I needed 2 pairs of Sunglasses clean and one adjusted and I was kind of on a time crunch. I was out the door in no time and my glasses looked brand new! I couldnt believe it and the adjustment on my other pair fit perfectly!

The eye exam itself was good. The Doctor was fine, but the sales aspect was ridiculous. I went in wanting my insurance to cover lenses and quote $300 to $500. It wasnt until I ASKED what lenses were covered under insurance that I was given the $25 and $65 option after 30 minutes plus of dodging this recommendation. This happened not once, but 3 times - and this time I stood my ground but in both my daughter and wifes case, they walked away without this info not getting what we were entitled to under insurance. Other issue - a perscription is not complete without the pd numbers and in my wifes case, the clinic, including the management in the clinic refused to give this number. I am thinking of finding a new provider next year to see if they will do a better job.

Should answer their phone when calling to see where they are located in the Fox River Mall. Its annoying when places put the Fox River Mall down as an address. The receptionist was just wonderful with her snarky attitude letting you know that youre late. Which of course you know already. If she it someone else wouldve answered the phone. People wouldnt have to wonder the mall looking for the store.

Originally I was going to give 5 stars.. But todays phone call changed that. Initially, my appointment went great. Everyone was friendly and super easy to work with. Al made the appointment personable and it was nice to be somewhere that actually takes time to chat and not be all business. And my glasses were in 3 days later! However, I called today and I dont know who I spoke with, but her attitude wrecked my good experience. She wouldnt listen to what I was saying and just kept cutting me off. I actually hung up instead of getting anything taken care of due to her attitude. Ill try again another time and see if this can be salvaged, otherwise due to todays experience, i wont be back.
Ive went here for the past 3yrs great opthomologist, Ive never had a problem before my last 2 visits and phone encounters within the past 2 months have been terrible they are rude and the new manager is clueless. 👎

Absolutely incompetent staff, Called yesterday for appointment gave insurance info was told if insurance did not go through they would call. I never received a phone call so i drove into town 20 miles for my scheduled appointment then while filling out paperwork i was told, It would be self pay that my insurance was out of network. YOU WOULD THINK THEY WOULD TELL YOU THIS ON THE PHONE ORE AT LEAST FOLLOW THROUGH AND CALL BACK WHEN THEY FOUND OUT LIKE I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD DO. so unless you know for your insurance covers this place or your willing to pay out of pocket I do not recommend. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE is that a thing of the past.

Went by today to ask for a pupilary distance measurement. I identified myself as a 100% disabled vet and was greeted by David a team lead. Told me he couldnt help me if I wasnt buying glasses from them. Id of paid for the quick measurement but left with the lack of customer service or caring. Do not visit this store. Ill never go back especially since they dont support Veterans.

I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully make you think twice about using this LensCrafters. I bought glasses 3 weeks ago and paid for all the extras: blue light filter, anti glare, and anti scratch. When I picked them up I didnt get the warranty because I paid for all the upgrades and have never scratched any of my glasses before because I take extra care and wear contacts of there is any chance to scratch them. I used the provided microfiber towel to clean daily and it scratched one of the lenses. I went to talk to them about a solution and the customer experience was terrible! one of the worst I have ever had. The sales rep told me I was out of luck and that I need to use water in the future. She wanted me to just buy new lenses to replace them. They just look to rob you of your money. please take my advice and go elsewhere. You will not regret it.

Ive been a loyal customer for years. They refused to do anything about my bent frame which is easily fixable and left me sitting there trying to figure it out. When I then asked if I could get my prescription they refused to give it to me. I will not be going back.
Very dishonest in their sales tactics. I was presented with a quote for new lenses and questioned why it was so high. I was told that was what my insurance covers, NEVER told that my insurance was out of network. I even questioned the copay showing $0 on my insurance website for lenses and was told that ‘copays for eyes aren’t the same as your typical doctor copay’ come to find out after I call my insurance company that it’s because it was out of network. Absolutely ridiculous that the man I was working with couldn’t be honest and upfront with me and instead try to hard ball me into paying drastically more for new glasses than I should!! You should be ashamed that you employ someone like this that can’t tell people the truth when being questioned on insurance costs and what is covered. Point blank lied to my face about it. The correct answer would have been ‘you are out of network’ not ‘that’s what your insurance covers’
If I could give them a O star I would. This place is the most expensive place ever. I have spent over $1,000 in one year at this place on glasses and eye exam. Went to eye express and got way beyond of a better deal on glasses with the same subscription and got two glasses way beyond under 500.00. I spent over 500.00 on one pair of glasses.

Absolutely terrible. Stopped in a month ago to look at frames for my daughter. She fell in love with a pair of frames at the store. Sales girl said to wait until her exam was due so my insurance would pick up some of the costs. No problem till I went back last night and the very same girl said oh so sorry those frames were discontinued. I had specifically asked her if they would be available on our first visit and was told absolutely. My daughter was devastated. Will NEVER go back and will NEVER recommend. Pearle Vision had a similar pair so they gained a new customer last night!
Went in to get sunglasses and new lenses for my current frames. Came back a week later for the lenses and sunglasses, and am told the lenses are too big for my frames and to come back another day. Come back 2 days later, and wait 2 hours for them to tell me they have to reorder the lenses. I go back another week later when they lenses came in, and guess what. They broke my frames and have to reorder the frames and lenses. If i could rate 0 stars, i would with zero hesitation
I just bought glasses from them 20 days ago with all the extras on it. The quality of the lenses is terrible and they wont back their product. I paid extra for the anti scratch and using the provided microfiber cloth they are already scratched when cleaning. Terrible customer service. Take your business elsewhere
Would not give me my pd . Thats bs seen as how walmart gave me mine so I could order glasses on line. I would have ordered glasses from them and sunglasses through an online site. Guess their out of luck on me placing a 400$ glasses order.
Literally the worst customer service ever. 3 weeks for glasses for them to send to the wrong address twice. The employees need to learn how to speak with customers. Corporate office needs to come out and do retraining for everyone in the store.Update: 8 months later and they still have horrible customer service.
