I have never posted a review on Google before but I felt I had to in the case of Appleton Motorcars. When I first began my search for a used vehicle, I had one poor experience after another. Finally, a search of car lots in the Appleton and Green Bay areas led us to Appleton Motorcars. It was immediately evident that the cars there were prepared for sale with skill and care as they were in better shape than other lots. After contacting the dealership that evening, I was contacted right away the next day by George. During the sales process George was extremely courteous and helpful without being pushy at all. He also helped us arrange the best financing option for us. Mandy was also extremely helpful as well. The entire staff were so wonderful we actually felt like family. I just purchased my first car here last Tuesday. Its a 2012 Chevy Cruze and I am very happy with it. The car is in great condition and drives very well. She was also very friendly and kind. She took me through everything I needed to know in a clear, understandable way which is great for a first car buyer like me. I feel like I am much more prepared to function well in life because I now have a way to get to jobs, school, the grocery store, home to visit my family, and anything else transportation is required for. It feels great to not have to rely on my dad or my sister for their car and I feel an immense sense of freedom through owning this car. I just purchased my first “up to date” car from here today, and I was very impressed! I was looking elsewhere at cars but my aunt said that we should stop there, so we did and they found me exactly what I wanted and I was comfortable with the monthly loan payments. This was my first experience buying a car from a dealership and I was very impressed with the service provided! Mandy and George were very clear and helpful through the whole process, and even when I was showing a lot of interest in the car I was looking at, they never pressured me to hurry up and buy and even clarified that I was welcome to take my time since it’s such a big decision. They made sure I knew where every dollar of my money was going (taxes, fees, etc.) so I wasn’t even remotely confused about the total. All in all, very friendly and helpful people selling quality cars.

We purchased a 2011 Subaru Forester last November for what we thought was a very fair price. There was a small area where the paint was bubbling and they had their body guy treat the area and made it look like new. We had a problem with the battery a couple of months later which they replaced for no charge. They are very nice to work with and they stand behind their cars! I would definitely buy from them again.

We went to Appleton Motorcars to find a replacement for a van that was damaged in an accident. The whole gang was very helpful in finding us a deal so that we could replace both the van and another vehicle that was giving us trouble. After we bought the vehicles, we ran into a couple of troubles within the first two weeks. The Saturn Auras trunk would not open when we pressed the button and the Chrysler Town and Countrys transmission went bad. The mechanics at Appleton Motorcars quickly fixed the problem in the Aura and they actually went through the process of changing out the transmission in the Town and Country twice when the first transmission they put in was less than optimal. Their service was always fast and friendly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Appleton Motorcars to anyone looking for a good deal and reliable service.

2008 GMC Yukon XL Denali. My wife and I were hesitant to purchase due to the high miles and “Small Exhaust Leak”. They assured us that there was nothing wrong with this vehicle at all. It was end of winter, and I was getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan, so I wanted my wife to have something reliable and not need anything. Again, they assure us this was the right vehicle. After about 2 weeks, I noticed an oil leak. I had already left for deployment, so my wife to the vehicle back (still under their warranty) to address the oil leak. They said it’s not classified as a leak. Just sitting overnight there would be a 6inch puddles area where the oil was dripping. They wouldn’t fix under the warranty. Wanted to charge my wife to have it fixed. The “exhaust leak” that they said wasn’t an issue, was actually lifter noise, yet another fun issue. Few weeks later, transmission problems. Mind you, these were all identifiable and fixable issues. Now I just got back from Afghanistan, and we have to get my wife a new vehicle again. This was our personal experience with this company. They may have had an inexperienced mechanic or something, but the bottom line is that their quality vehicle and service was not quality. I do understand that these are used cars, and they do there best to disclose what they find.

If you’re in a pinch and need mechanical work done fast, probably not the place to go. But there selection of vehicles for sale is solid and they are easy to work with. What they lack in speed, they make up for in friendliness, honesty, and hard work. Definitely will keep Jon, Glen, and the rest of the crew in mind for future vehicle purchases 👍

Had an amazing experience here. I bought a 2008 Buick enclave and less than a week after purchase the transmission went out. They offer to fix 100%free with a used transmission or they would give me a huge discount on a GM certified refurbished transmission. Truly fight for their customers. My family has bought 3 cars from here now. We couldnt be happier.Update from 11 months later: air conditioner went out and uad amazing experience. I was give detailed findings on what was wrong and several options on what could be done to fix, what would have cost me over a thousand at other repair shop cost me 200 with a credit if disocunted fix didnt work within 3 months. My family has now bought 3 cars from here and will continue to buy from glenn and jon!
