Well managed location, all the staff were very polite as I expected. My daughter is 9 and she said that she heard about the location from Tiktok. I took her here for here birthday, they did not have what she was looking for but polite staff offered her other things that might interest her and she was satisfied. Came to this location because my daughter seen it on TikTok drove 1hour just to find out they are closed down . But online it say that they are open

Drove over an hour only to find the store was completely closed down 6 months ago. Very disappointed and frustrating. Owners should update Google listing, shows its open until 9 pm today?!

For two years I have asked for dolls of color in this store, and they simply do no care if my children have dolls that look like them. Ann Arbor is a diverse community, and yet they do not seem interested in serving all members of that community. It is offensive, and when I spoke to the person who claims she is responsible, she was flippant, and did not care. BIPOC in this community deserve to be recognized as important members of this community too. I will not shop in this store again.In Reply:I do not see a place to reply, so I am going to do so here. No, thats isnt what you, that is also a blatant lie. I have been to many toy stores in the last two years, and everyone else isnt having a problem finding multiple dolls of color and ethnicity. Not just African American, but Hispanic, biracial, Asian, and a lot of other colors and ethnicities that you dont seem to know exist. In two years you are telling me the marketplace is responsible! We drove over 2 hours to go here just to find out it was not open even though online it says it is

Located West of downtown A2, in Westgate shopping center - the best place to discover creative toys and tools for your special kids on your list during the holidays - birthdays, Christmas and other!

The staff was helpful and friendly. A really solid selection covering all of the ages. Well merchandised and a smooth transaction honoring a coupon I had left at home. Will be back for sure!

This is an awesome toy store! The staff is friendly and helpful and keeps the store stocked with a great variety of toys, games, craft kits, books, and room decor. There are great items for big and small budgets and for a wide range of ages, from infant up. They really know what kids like. Free gift wrapping service is an added bonus. Extra big thanks goes to Mark, who graciously helped our Girl Scouts with their Bronze Award project benefiting Mott Childrens Hospital by hosting their lemonade stand fundraiser in front of the store and helping them get great deals on toys to donate that they purchased with the money they raised.

I am very upset. I called ahead to make sure they had what I wanted because I told them I lived over an hour away one way and wanted to make sure my trip was worth it. They had made it seem like their selection was better than it was. Besides that when I got there everyone else was greeted and helped besides me.. Thats not how it should be. Every customer especially when looking around for 15 mins. Then when I finally had to go up and ask the employee how much something was they didn’t move from their spot and they said it think it is xx.xx’ without any further help or anything. I drove out of my way OVER AN HOUR to be ignored and talked to rudely when I was going to give this company my money. I am furious and will probably never come here again, regardless of how much I need their products.

Gotta love truly local retail stores. This is an amazing toy store. The employees all know their stock extremely well and are always happy to guide you to specific items, or offer suggestions based on your description of what kind of thing youre looking for. Stop buying from the online places and give Learning Express a try!

Always helpful!!! Most games have an open demo and the staff have played the games so they can make honest recommendations that are age appropriate.They also do some game programs with Ann Arbor Public Library. Those we a lot of fun.Our daughters have attended some Harry Potter Parties.

Insufficient floor space for the size of their selection. Staff is either not helpful at all or creepy. Parents dont control their kids inside, and the staff dont remind parents to watch their spawn. Ive given the place several chances, and every time the experience has been less than pleasant.

Great place for a wide variety of gifts for all different ages. Not all just learning toys. Fun shop! They gift wrap for free as well.

Curiosity brought me into this store.I began looking for educational along with creative activities for my 7 year old.Learning Express has a great variety of items to choose from. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products.

Each time we have been to this store we have been given exceptional customer care. The employees have all been very helpful at answering questions and recommending toys. They have given my son the opportunity to have an interactive experience with toys and are just all around great:) This is our favorite toy store in Ann Arbor due to the variety of toys and the fantastic staff!!

Toy stores are a dying bread so when I came across this gem I had to go in. Their books selection and meaningful play toys are awesome! The customer service was pretty amazing too!

This is a great store but seriously understaffed. We went in to pick out a birthday gift from a birthday bin and stood in line for about 10 minutes just to find out where the birthday bins were located. When we got to the counter, the woman just pointed us in that direction and continued to help the next customer even when I told her that I could not find the birthday bin we were looking for. Her response was that they should all just be there. We eventually found it on our own but I was disappointed with the service we received.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Watching the staff interact with the kids in the store gave me huge faith in their service and recommendations. There are a wide variety of toys for all ages, giving you so many choices that its hard to walk away with just one.

Ive been shopping here for about 4 years now and this is out go-to place for high end toys that are sometimes difficult to find. The staff is always knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and can always help you spend your money if you arent sure what to get for that someone special. Their staff are toy collectors themselves, so go ahead, try to stump these guys!

Love their selection of fun and educational toys, I have 2 small daughters who literally spent 2 hrs in there today just looking and playing with all the toys they have after their visit with Peppa pig! Employees are great, and very helpful. Huge selection of toys if you have a little scientist, beanie boos galore, LOL, calico critters, baby toys, toddler, swimming, outdoor toys, million different types of legos... Very fun place to visit, Id recommend it to anyone! ❤

Much better since the last time we went in :) love the selection and that they have toys out for kids to test and there was a helpful man on the floor to explain some of the toys of interest to us. Decided to give it another go and change my bad review into a good one.

It is a toy store for children. I think that the main target is from birth to around 8 years old. There are many educational toys, books for infants, and small toys, so I thought it was a good place to choose gifts for babies.I thought that the display of goods was also clean and good. Since the store is not so large, there are few variations of one product, but it seemed that they were dealing with various products from various manufacturers. We do not handle general products such as clothing, strollers, and diapers.
