Probably one of the most complete stores for retro gaming Ive yet seen. The game libraries were moderate but they had quite a few titles for nearly everything. I was impressed to see Sega Saturn stuff. Gonna need to come back in when I can fit it into my budget.

This is a nice game store in Ann Arbor. They have some interesting card and figure games plus they take in trades or give cash for video games and systems so its a good spot to check for deals on used handheld or other gaming systems. Being a college town theres usually a lot of turnover on that sort of thing.

In a city of fun little places, this might be my favorite fun little place. Ive been coming here regularly since they were on Packard, and its a request among friends who come into town. I was able to stock up my collection of N64 wrestling games for a reasonable price, and assembled a set of dice that look like various melted cheeses for less than $5. Staff is nicer than nice. Id recommend it to random people on the internet just as strongly as I do to the less random people I know personally.

Super knowledgeable and approachable staff coupled with an amazing selection for any kind of gamer (tabletop, to classic, all the way up to what just came out!) on top of that the prices are beyond reasonable. One of the best small businesses Ive ever encountered, and one that I will continue to go to as the years go on.

Nick and Aaron are great! Their customer service is excellent. They were patient and spent a lot of time answering questions. Their knowledge is extensive. I have bought many games from them in the past and look forward to going there again.

I used to play magic the Gathering here multiple times a week when I was in college. Really great gaming shop, there is always something going on no matter what kind of gaming youre into. They sell lots of great products, board games, card games, video games, you name it. Service is always great, staff is really knowledgeable and friendly.

They got the lint out of my phone for free! It seems like a great spot of you are into Warhammer or magic, with a nice little selection of traditional tabletops as well. Recommended!

Aaron was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. While he wasnt able to help me today, he was able to diagnose the problem for me, free of charge. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing any phone work.

Ive always wanted to go to Friday Night Magic but due to only playing a year & never playing draft format before I was really nervous. They assured me though that they encourage an environment where beginners are welcome & have asked those without the best sportsmanship to leave. I went and had a lot of fun and the guys gave me tips and advice to help me get better. Ive tried other magic stores since and so far this one is my favorite. Plus its cheaper, $10 to draft when other places charge $15. Only complaint I have is the room gets hot and stuffy. Like the people who come here. Casual environment for beginners.

Everyone here is always SO nice. I go here and buy stuff just to support them. They are happy to order stuff, they have no problem answering ANY question, they support the community, they support their customers. Seriously - a fantastic shop. My favorite in town.

My wife and I visited Get Your Game On on Saturday January 27, 2018 and it was a very very bad experience. We stood at the counter while one individual help one customer and two other individuals were helping other customers. When the one individual finished up with his customer he waited on someone who was clearly a regular there who it just walked in in my wife and I have been standing there for about 15 minutes waiting for help. Ive been playing Magic since 1994 and I had $150 in my pocket and they had to single cards that I really wanted to buy, which would have been about $80 but since nobody wanted to help us I took my money and left the store. I know that I will never go back to Get Your Game On again and if I were you I wouldnt go there either. I highly do not recommend this place.

Ive always had good exeriences at this store. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the selection is good. There is a strong focus on MTG and RPGS, but some other types of games, too. They also buy and sell individual MTG cards in case you have a specific card you need.

I loved going here and picking up retro games. Truly a one of a kind location as well, a shame to see it gone.

I broke my phone and was able to find this place with the lowest prices for a screen and LCD replacement for a IPhone 6S Plus. The tech guy explained everything and even showed me exactly what was wrong. He also gave me a discount and warranty just in case anything went wrong. Most definitely will be returning !!

Trade in amounts are eh, I can get over that. What I cant get over is that I used a portion of my trade in credit to purchase a few items, then when I returned a month - two months laters to make a purchase I was informed that I spent the remainder of it already. They have a system to make note of who has credit. They do not however require any id to prove that you are the one using the credit. So I am out almost 20 dollars. Advising people to be cautious about trading items in at this business. If you do, be sure to use all the store credit at once.

The store has a good selection and great location but everything is over-priced. A game or game accessory that sells at another game store will be marked up 10 to 20% at Get Your Game On. Just today they tried to sell me a bruised and [ab]used PS3 controller for $45. No thanks. Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

LOVED this place and the employees. Some friends got me into MTG. With very little experience this place was amazing! The staff helped me build a deck under my budget and were VERY nice, helpful and fun to talk to. They dont judge if youre a n00b they helped me build a stellar deck and I was very impressed with the time they took and the amount of information they gave me. I will continue to shop here for my MTG needs.only downside to this place is parking.

Great place for retro games as well as new games, staff are extremely helpful, but if you need help, ask. They are used to people walking around and browsing at all the cool retro games, so unless you look super lost they might not walk up and ask you if you need help for a while.

The only brick and mortar game store for miles, and definitely one worth coming too. Their stock of video games changes regularly so you can always come back if you cant find something you want. They also buy video games for what you would expect a video game to go for. Not too sure how they handle magic the gathering stuff, but their selection of table top games and miniatures is almost staggering for such a small store

The staff at GYGO are absolutely wonderful. The only issue is their uncanny ability to get people into Magic: The Gathering. Magic (MTG) is a toxic game that drains your wallet of cash, obliterates your weekend free time, and tears you apart from your closest friends. 5/5 would totally get into MTG again.

Only brick and mortar I can find physical games for my NES or SEGA. Tons of modern vidya and board games. And a huge stock of everything Magic the Gathering related you can ask for. And open room to actually sit and play inside... In downtown A2... I love it.

I finally visited this store after being recommended by a couple friends. The staff are friendly, they have a good mix of old and new video games, plus a surprising number of board games in stock. I picked up a used PS1 (theyre getting hard to find!) and a couple games for around $30. Overall, way better than Gamestop or Walmart, especially if youre looking for retro or hard-to-find games.

They got it done. But the fat guy who claims he is the owner is a total snob. The IT guy is awesome however

Wow! This store has a wide selection of both video and board games. You never know what you might find. They love to push retro gaming but dont sell rca/composite/red yellow white to hdmi converters. Without these converters retro gaming is a lot more difficult. Sure you can purchase a micro console but you obly get 13 games or so.

I think Vault of Midnight bills itself as a comic book store, but it pouts this gaming stores board game offerings to shame. I was relatively underwhelmed by the selection. They did offer more trading cards and console games though.

This is The. Best. Videogame. Resale. In. Michigan. Very rarely have I gotten a stinker, and the one game I picked up that didnt work, I was able to swap. (even gave me a slightly higher priced game for my troubles.) I always get polite service, everywhere I go, but here I dont have to pull out the Polite first guns. Its autopilot for them.I really wish they had a larger selection of boardgames, but they do have a great magic programme. They dont have a huge warhammer selection, but they do a good job for a bit of everything store.A tic on the list of reasons why I moved to A2.

Overall the staff is very nice, one employee was rude the last time I went and was impatient. Overall great selection but slightly overpricedMy problem was I purchased a slightly overpriced ghosts and goblins for the nes... And it didnt work theyre nice enough to have a return policy but why cant they test the games first! I find it annoying to have to drive all the way back there just to tell them it doesnt work and thats embarrassing but as for the games I did purchase that worked they were in great condition and little to no damage on the carts or disks or covers. Id shop there again I just wouldnt risk paying for anything too expensive(Ps I also bought a complete college slam for the genesis from them and that didnt work either)

My wife came in to the store with our son about a month ago to inquire about selling a Nintendo DS. She was treated rudely by a young woman who worked there when she asked for a price. She told me that the employee started to yell at her and speak slower than normal as if she was an idiot. My wife does not have a native fluency in English and it is unacceptable that she was humiliated in public because of this reason. I will not be returning to this store after this incident.

Do not go here. They sold us an expansion pack to a game that we asked about. Literally had a conversation with the sales guy about the game. Not knowing it was an expansion pack (it says nowhere on the outside of the box) until we got home and read the rules. Went back to the store to exchange it for the original and the same sales guy wouldnt even exchange it cause it was opened. Not even an hour were we gone, and he advised us to buy the game knowing we had never played it before, so why tell us to buy the expansion pack! Poor advice, even worse customer service.
