The ONE thing I TOTALLY DONT UNDERSTAND IS......HOW DO YOU HAVE AN EMPLOYEE WORK IN THIS PARTICULAR DEPARTMENT OF YOUR STORE AND THERES NO CHANGE IN THE REGISTER FOR YOU TO COMPLETE AN EXCHANGE OR RETURNED ITEM???? I WAS ONLY ABLE TO FIND ONE FITTING ROOM. AFTER COMING BACK AFTER 20 MINS OF WAITING FOR THE EMPLOYEES REQUEST FOR MONEY IN HIS DRAWER THE MANAGER DIDNT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME UNTIL I PULLED OUT MY PHONE AND TOOK THIS PICTURE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND A MAJOR LET DOWN ON THIS DAY.

This used to be a really good store. They do removed all but one register . Theres massive backups now.The clothing I had, somehow lost the tag and the cashier stopped everything to dig through clothes and find the price ( which was four times more than what the rack said). The clearance is just chaotic, making it impossible to see if you want anything there when you have to look at the tag on every item to see the size.I feel like someone is pranking me its so bad.Hopefully it turns around, Ive been going there since I was a kid. Truthfully tho I think that was my last time in there.

Good shopping stop, they got everything for all. The prices are great. I was looking for a specific nike shoe, it was priced at $145 in Dicks Sporting Goods but I was able to get the same shoe in $125 here at jcpenney. They also got great offers for summer and if you open a new credit card account here, they give 15% off at overall price.

Store is clean and bright. Had to walk over half of the store to find a check out station that was open.

What can you say about JCPenney. If you shop there and how its a great place if you dont shop there then you should go there

Disappointing. It’s been 12 yrs since we came here last and we were shocked. Possibly new management would help 🤷🏻‍♂️

No customer service. Spent 15 minutes asking for anyone to come to the shoe department & NO ONE was to be found. I wont EVER go back to THIS JCPennys. Customer service is IMPERATIVE & should be top shelf in a department store. Disappointed to say the least after driving 4 hours to shop here.

I was looking for a dress for a special occasion and they didnt have a lot of selections.

Found everything I was looking for thx. But I dont understand why they open an hour later than any other store in Briarwood. Thought my wait would be 20 minutes in my car, not an hour and 20 minutes.

Taylor in sephora was SO helpful and helped me get a gucci perfume for my mom for mother’s day. Kylia was so sweet as well.

I have had pretty good luck shopping here, and the laterge clearance sections makes it easier to get a little something extra. Wish the shoe department was less of a hot mess, but I was able to find a couple pair of cute shoes. Some interesting finds here...

Still smells like the 80s up in there. Is what it is, low cost clothes and overpriced housewares. They really missed the mark by not converting catalog online in the early days of the internet when they had no competition and a solid distribution network.I found customer service at this location to be course. Not like the old days.

Great way to get from the parking lot to the mall.

We shopped here last week for a suit for my son. We flew in from out of the country for a funeral and came here straight from the airport. This was my sons first suit from the mens department. Will and Nelson both assisted us including measuring my son for his shirts. We appreciated their help and patience since we didnt leave until a few minutes before closing.

Prices are a away higher than Kohls.

Lots to choose from, sometimes a little too much. Store feels a little overcrowded with clothes racks. Still, it has a good variety of all that you are shopping for. Prices reasonable.

Went to drop about 500 dollars, got to a check out. The lady at the checkout is helping someone find a different size of an item. There are 3 other employees around the desk. One asks if Im really to checkout I say yes, one of the other employees interrupts us and talks about defects, when the employee who ask me if Im really says shes almost done. The lady at checkout is still looking up inventory. I wait alittle and realize that they arent here to help me. I dont think Ill shop here first and last time.

Big selection of stuff. Not all of it is high quality. Best feature is comfy indoor chairs in close proximity to the bus stop.

Our local Pennys was out out stock, so ran to Ann Arbor !! They actually had more then what was out of stock here!!

Ive loved Penneys dept store for many years but at my last visit the store was in a bit of disarray and didnt have as many employees around as usual. I know its due to their financial problems and I cant help but think this store is going to be closing soon. It will be missed when it does.

Love this store! They even have an elevator to access the upper section of the store which helps as I have a disabled child who cant use the escalator.

We normally cant find bigger clothes but we had no problem in the big and tall section and the sales were great! We got 2 dress shirts 2 pairs of Jeans and a tee shirt for only $120.

I took my 2 year old in for a haircut today and we saw Douglas. My little guy was being an absolute monster!!! Complete meltdowns no matter what we tried to do. Douglas and two other ladies talked my son down, gave him the complete extra treatment, and he walked out a happy boy with a great haircut!!! Parnel at the Salon always goes above and beyond in customer service, making my insecure 14 year old feel like a rock star... plus hes a fantastic stylist! Always does a great job with cuts and color! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful! We love this place!
