Friendly service. Theyre not stage 5 clingers all over you every second of your shopping trip. They will give you space.Their womens shoe selection left much to be desired for me.The perfume was nice.

I LOVE this store! They have a wonderful childrens section with clothes, books, toys, and more. The pianist is great, he even played a couple of songs especially for my daughter and she was thrilled. Its so great to see a store that still offers gift wrapping and tailoring, too. Last, but certainly not least, they have wonderful, old-fashioned customer service, you dont find that in many places anymore!

I went in today to find a dress for a wedding. This is no small feat because I dont wear dresses. I met a wonderful lady named Wanda in the dress department. She was so helpful, so sweet. She was grabbing dresses for me, starting a dressing room for me, checking to make sure that everything was OK while I was trying them on. She picked out the dress I bought. It was the 1st dress that I tried on. Well done Wanda, well done Van maur. Also this is my new go to store because Macys has turned into a dump. I especially love that you have nice clean bathrooms, your people acknowledge that youre there in the department and are always ready to help well done well done.

I can get items just as nice that serves just as good a purpose as a store where I can get it for half the price. Every time I go to Von Maur, its like I get hit with the old days of department stores - in a good way! During my last time there, I visited the shoe department and the employees there were very helpful and attentive, but never hovered or were pushy. I came in looking like a complete slob on my day off and they treated me like a valuable customer just as much as everyone else. Great service overall! The live piano music is a plus too. So classy!

I have been a loyal customer since their opening a store in A2. Their informed and friendly staff have always been willing to order items (when needed) from other stores, contact me when something new arrives that they know I’d like, and provide honest and helpful suggestions when asked.

I spend a great deal on shoes; they are one purchase I never would consider skimping on. But I will spend my salary elsewhere. At Von Maur, not only did the sales associates not offer help, they stood on the sidelines (by the cash register) and complained about customers. It is hard to imagine this 1980s sales model lasting very long in our Amazon culture, but I (and many others, I am sure) would have pledged my allegiance for amazing service, which is obviously missing here.

Very helpful and attentive staff. Yes, their items are a bit on the expensive side, but if you want quality goods and quality customer service, this is the place to shop.

I went in last week to return an unopened item I had bought for my son and was rudely met by the store manager Sammy. She was very condescending and hostile towards me, claiming the return policy had changed in the 3 days I had purchased the item. If you are and wary about shopping here, Id recommend Macys or any other store in the mall. I also watched a trend as the manager was hostile and rude to other customers during my visit.

Beautifully arranged store with helpful clerks. I often go in just to here the live piano music that is featured at times. Occasionally they use the player piano feature. More often then not the is an actual pianist. Its an awesome touch

I always stop here for the best customer service in Ann Arbor. Also the retail items are up to date and its a relaxing experience. They also have a mothers lounge where I can peacefully nurse in a private room. Piano player is just a plus!

I always have a good experience shopping here. The employees are courteous and helpful, and make the trip enjoyable. The merchandise is generally a good price for designer/higher-end goods, but this place is perfect when shopping for work or special events.

Not the best service. I had to seek out an employee to help get my grand daughters feet sized. When I asked if he had other shoes in her size (other than what we picked out), he said he wasnt sure, that he didnt normally work in that department and was only helping out. He did not even try to look. He was definitely not helpful, and didnt seem to care if he sold anything to us or not, which is a shame, since this the only store in the area that sells stride rite.

Super cute clothes for the whole family, quality merchandise, good sale racks. Live piano is charming. Bathrooms are huge and theres a nursing area; some details are outdated, which tends to be part for the course at Briarwood. Have always received good service. I would say its the best department store at Briarwood.

Love this store. After months of searching I found the perfect formal dress for an event my husband and I were attending. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The lounge was very comfortable for my husband to sit and rest while I tried on dresses.

All my favorite new clothes come from here! Its a great place for fancy dresses. The staff has always been very friendly and respectful.

I bought a good replacement wallet in the mens department. The price is reasonable. The quality is outstanding. The service is outstanding. The sales associates knew that I am going to purchase and acknowledged me when I entered the department.

I was very impressed when I went to Von Maur in Columbus which is a larger one. Its a beautiful store, very well appointed. They cater to the customers very well. They do have markdowns every week on a Wednesday and Thursday. If you open up a charge there you do not get charged finance charges. You can make monthly payments on your bill without having to pay finance charges. They also have a Von Mauer in Ann Arbor at the Briarwood Mall.

I was blown away by the great customer service and store in general. I purchased some shoes which had to be shipped to me since they didnt have the size in stock. Not only did the shoes come on time as expected, they came with a hand written note thanking me for my business. This store blows the other big box stores out of the water in quality and service. Forget Macys and Nordstrom, Im shopping Von Maur!

I Absolutely LOVE this Store!!!! Very upscale choices from Gucci to Louis Vuitton. Women will not want to leave when they see the shoe and boot selection! They have Great clothing, fragrace, designer eyewear and footwear choices for everybody brands like (Under Armor..North Face.. Nike.. True Religion..ect.) and decorative items for the home! Stop in and check them out you wont be sorry!
