This B&N has an excellent selection of literary fiction and an eclectic, satisfying selection of philosophy. I’ve found some really out-of-the-way titles here, from Gaddis to Zizek. Worth a visit!

I was sad to see other family owned bookstores leave AA to be replaced by franchise bookstores like B&N years ago but this AA B&N is always incredible to visit. Organized. Easy to find staff for assistance. Best sellers are usually 30% off. Their discount book shelves are also great. I like looking at the Michigan history and local interest books.

The Barnes & Noble in Citrus Heights, CA was a life saver during the winter when I was in my late teens. It provides an escape from reality that was really needed. Cold, wet, depressed, hurt, reading has always been my go to coping mechabism, and this company always has laid back locations. Courteous, considerate employees always willing to answer a question or even take you to the answer. Theyre selection never disappoint, and if they dont have it they will order it for you.

Love this B&N. Its 2 stories, so plenty of room for a good variety of books. They have a huge selection of movies and CDs as well. The Cafe is great, and the kids section is huge. Its all organized very well so its easy to find what youre looking for, but the staff is always more than happy to help.

All I wanted was some light reading material maybe some music. Its hard to walk away from this place without a small library; they have so much great stuff.

I love that they keep the store clean and everything is organized and easy to walk around to check out all the different sections. Their cheesecake in the indoor café is always amazing so I highly recommend trying it out!

Excellent customer service! This is the best B&N I have ever been to. It is so clean and organized. When I walked in Ari (spelling may be off) greeted me and saw me looking at a sign about the book World of Wonders and told me how great the book is. She immediately picked up a copy and handed it to me and gave me a brief description. This is the first time I have ever purchased a book that was suggested and I do no regret the purchase. You cant go wrong at this store.

So great to be able to go to a real bookstore with my 2 year old grandson!!! We spent almost two hours in the kids section! Great fun and great memories. I use to do this with my girls every Sunday!!!

Despite the facade hiding a deceptively small interior, there were thousands of eye catching titles. Some at discount!

The go-to place for book lovers. Amazing collection of books and extremely helpful and courteous staff. The store is  also conveniently located and they have a nice Kid section. They also have a Starbucks inside the store. Definitely a must visit if you love books and get into the world of books

Horrible integrity of management team. I applied to this barnes and noble, multiple times. Once I got a call to come in for the interview, I was excited and looking forward to being welcomed by whoever I was being interviewed by. Got to the interview, 3 minutes late, which is horrible on my part, but I’m not from the Ann Arbor area and am moving next month. I answered all of the questions as thoroughly as I could, etc. and the “manager” was so stuck on the fact that I was 3 minutes late.. he openly became rude and disrespected the integrity of my resume, I’d formally written out, and he proceeded to mention how my resume said “punctual.” And I “was not” Which I hold myself to that standard, as I am also in the military, so I took offense. He wasn’t even asking me any questions. The Starbucks manager was asking me all of the questions and he doesn’t even manage the barnes and noble store! Ha! By the end of the interview I asked about pay and whether it was competitive or how it worked. Because they only pay 9.75 an hour! The barnes and noble manager said sometimes people get raises and I could potentially get a raise if I excel but “it doesn’t look like that if I’m honest.” Right to my face! He said “he just doesn’t give raises to people around here.” “So at your annual review you’ll either get a raise or get fired, hahaha…” yeah not funny. And definitely not something you say to someone during an interview. He then said they’d give me a call by Friday the 9th of July. It’s now the 14th, and they couldn’t have even sent out an email stating whether I had gotten the job or not. I’ve been urgently looking, seeing that I’m moving and unfortunately they wasted my time. Extremely disappointed with how the interview went. So if you’re thinking of working here… don’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Family loves books and heres where we shop on occasion. Can be a bit pricey but thats bound to happen with a family of 6 who loves books. Will return in fact we already have lol

They have awesome clearance items. I didnt know that educators got perks, and they signed me up. It all happened while I was sipping on my fave-a toasted white chocolate mocha!

The last 3 times ivevisited they didnt have what I wanted. Ordering it means a 5 go 7 day wait,- why do that when amazon is way more convenient?

Love this book store.

There is something for everyone! I always love browsing the bargain books (usually between $5-$8). The employees are helpful. If you order a book and pick it up the process is very easy and comes in a timely fashion mainly because they usually have a steady flow of stock that comes throughout the week. You can also reserve new releases online. Pickup for reserved books are easy too. Just ask and employee.

This is a very good Barnes & Noble’s location. It’s very large and they have a great selection. They also have a selection of board games which I was surprised that and I do love boardgames. My wife and I typically pay board games on the weekend and we’re gonna probably buy a board game from Barnes & Noble’s pretty soon.

It seems hard to get ahold of someone in charge. The bathrooms in this place are terrible. Every time I go in, all of the stall locks are broken, but in the same way (locked when you pull but opens to a push) The book selection and staff here always tend to be good but these terrible experiences of having to guard the door while going makes me not want to spend money there. This is really poor planning especially with a lack of a family or gender neutral bathroom.

Its a big store youd think theyd have what your looking might be back ordered due to covid. However not disappointed found other stuff like birthday gifts etc

Enjoyed browsing books again. They ask for normal social distancing and masks to be worn. When I got there, there was no line at checkout. By the time I was ready there was quite a line. But it went fairly quickly.

Barnes and Noble had a vast selection of books from many different genres. The prices are very good and can accommodate my financial status. The people there are super helpful and helped me when I needed to find a book. I would definitely recommend going here if you want to buy any book.

I love to go browse books at Barnes & Noble. Theres just no substitute for picking up the paper in your hand, turning the pages, and reading. On this visit I was keeping my tradition of buying a childrens Christmas story every year. I found several gems and couldnt just get one...

Helpful staff, clean, and quiet

It almost shocks me that this place still exists, until you enter the store. It has everything from the obvious book selection, to games, toys, puzzles and more. Theres a whole kids area upstairs with all the mainstream books and characters to less well known but interesting reads. I dont think this place can compete with pricing from done of the online places but its a great place to have for actual customer service. They have a coffee and bake shop, which I havent tried but thats because my kids are pulling me all over the stairs asking to buy all the books, Harry potter wands, and Pokémon stuff. Its certainly worth a stop in especially if you are looking for a new book to start our a whole collection of some classics.

Comfortable place to hang out and read. And buy stuff, of course. The cafe is nice enough that I use it as a place to meet up with people sometimes. The escalators are cool, too, and make nice use of the space. It is located at a very busy intersection, so I tend to wait until lighter traffic times to go. But the selection is good, and I find it worth it to keep renewing my membership.

2x in less that 5 minutes, a college aged, extremely obese employee walked within a foot, last time brushed against me in an aisle of games/puzzles. When I confronted him on his lack of social DISTANCING he acted violent and aggressive...First time there, last time there. I hope they reprimand/fire that rude and aggressive individual.Be careful when you go there....

The staff is helpful and friendly. Plenty of chairs, nooks to relax and check out your choices. Cafe on site is very nice with high quality. A fun, peaceful way to spend a few hours.

Love this place! Its clean, organized and friendly. In addition to all kinds of books are all kinds of games, stationary, calendars etc. I wanted to be there for hours. Of course Starbucks is there with great pastries, deserts and all that Starbucks sells. Smells delicious as you enter B&N. Enjoy!

Great store for vinyl shopping. I go there to buy the Barnes and Noble Exclusive Editions. Customer service is great, they always have the records I want held for me. Great to know they have what I want waiting for me. PEACEWent there today and the manager Caitlin went out of her way to help me get a record shipped from another store. She made my shopping experience absolutely awesome. Just another reason to be a return shopper!!!! Just wanted to say thanks and let everyone know how great their customer service is. Thank you!! Nice place to find almost any book

Fantastic two-story location with a great cafe with bar height seating against the windows. I try to stop by here every time Im in Ann Arbor. I love that the college town vibe continues on into this Barnes. Great place to get books, fun collectibles, and great cafe for hanging out in.
