I was traveling on i94 & had some unexpected car problems. I googled around & was advised to call them & see if they could get me in. It was a Saturday so things were closing by 4. I called & Abe said to come down there & he could try to help me. I got there & he looked at my truck & said he can get me in shortly. Since I was almost 2 hours from home, he made some calls to get parts & it was a go. He made sure I was comfortable & kept me updated as parts arrived. Got me in within an hour & fixed my truck for me. Very nice & explained what the problem was. The price was reasonable & I am very satisfied with his work. Id recommend this place if you need small work done & quickly. Abe saved the day for me & if in the area, check them out!!

I went in to get my undercarriage cover reattached. It had gotten loose after a long distance drive, but there were no indicators that anything else was wrong with the vehicle. The service was efficient and I was able to pick up my car a couple of hours after I dropped it off. When I went to pick up my car, they told me it was $185 just to reattach the cover. When I asked them to explain the price, they suddenly changed the price to $75. I had called other local auto services and they gave me a quote of about $50 for half an hour of labor. I have a suspicion that these folks charged me more because I didn’t seem familiar with vehicles. I wish they were more trustworthy because this shop is in a convenient location and gets the job done. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I can recommend them to anyone.

Ive been bringing my Ford Escape here for the past several years while in grad school. Abe and the other employees are friendly, professional, and honest. I felt the prices were reasonable and work was done quickly.Thank you for taking good care of my car while Ive been in Ann Arbor!

I had a problem with my brakes which caused an awful grinding noise. I took it to Abe, who discovered the problem was caused by a rock caught in there, which he removed. He was wonderful, and he didn’t even charge me! We offered to pay him anyways and he refused. Super honest guy. I will definitely be coming back if I ever need auto work done!!

This is by far, the greatest auto shop in Ann Arbor. Abe and Mohamed are the greatest guys. The staff and mechanics are great and knowledgeable.

Ive been here multiple times and am highly impressed by Broadway Auto Service. They have done a tire replacement and a transmission checkup for me, beyond general maintenance. They have been knowledgeable and frank about what is needed. They have fit me in quickly and gotten my car in without delay, all at a great price tag. I honestly have no complaints about the friendly folks here and would recommend relying on them for service.

Ive lived in the Ann Arbor area for a few years now as a research fellow. I am so grateful that I chose Broadway Auto to do my car repair work. Theyre fast, professional, fair, honest, and do great work. Abe and his team is great to work with.Broadway Auto and Abe have been excellent. Ive told my friends about him and the good work he does. He stands behind his work too and ensures that the problem is fixed correctly. I have never had to wait longer than a day to get my car back.On the whole, I couldnt recommend them more strongly. Went here regularly for Oil Changes, Tire Balance/Rotations, Etc. and planned on doing Body Work (over $3,000) however, they are unprofessional, couldnt care less about their customers, nor the customers time!During a previous Oil Change Broadways workers were careless and damaged my vehicle door with a paint chip and a ding on the door. After denying any wrongdoing they accepted that they damaged my vehicle because I showed pictures I took prior to my Mechanic Visit - a usual practice I encourage everyone to use! They said: If I buy the touch-up paint ($30+ from Toyota) they will do the repair for FREE. Multiple attempts to have the work finished and they refused. Constant excuses about how the touch-up guy didnt come in today but Abe - the shop Manager/Owner - promised he would do the work himself. Furthermore, if you have an unreliable staff - fire them and get reliable workers who can perform work scheduled at Broadway.Yesterday, 7/22/2021 I had a 9:30AM Oil Change and requested the Paint Chip/Ding be addressed. They agreed and stated the work would be done that day, but the car needed to sit at the shop until 5/6PM for the paint to dry long enough and because Abe was in a meeting in the morning. I spent $30 to Uber to work and around 5:00PM I called Broadway to ensure the work was done - since I have had issues with them in the past I thought this was important to do. On the call, Mohammed - the front desk worker - informed me that they did NOT have the Oil Change performed nor the Paint Chip/Ding addressed. When inquired about why this was he stated The touch-up paint guy didnt come in and we never promised any work would be done today. I am not going to argue with you about this. You can either leave it overnight or bring it back another day. Thats that man. I told you the work would be done by the morning Then why make an appointment if the work would not be guaranteed done the same-day? Why would I have dropped the vehicle off on 7/22 if the work wouldnt be completed until the morning of 7/23? Why would I willingly leave my car overnight and pay $30 in Ubers - when I could pay for ONE Uber the morning the work would be completed.Mohammed continued to be rude and argue why work - that was scheduled and promised to be done - was not. Therefore, I requested to speak to Abe directly. Mohammed refused and stated Abe was too busy to speak with me nor would he care. I hung up. After a few minutes I received a call from an Unknown Number - I answer - its Abe. He says: F*** You, You Piece of S***. Come get your Piece of S*** Car. After arriving to simply grab my keys Abe yells and points his finger at me and my face - after the one customer inside leaves - he threatens me with a lawsuit, being arrested, and a few others. I explained the situation and how the events unfolded, but Abe said I do not WANT to believe you. We would never promise work will be done the same day you make the appointment. Ever. I attempt to walk out of the shop and Abe follows me continuing to berate me in front of customers and his workers. Mohammed then attempted to jump in and yell at me as well as I was exiting the shop. So, I addressed Mohammed for lying and continued to leave. Abe continued to follow and scream at me threats of arrest, lawsuit, etc.

Broadway is one of the best places to get your car fixed. Their service is on time, friendly, and professional. Ive had the pleasure to get my car fixed a handful of times now, and I was compelled to leave a review. Ive recommended them to friends and family, and Ive only heard good things.

I am surprised that the reviews are so good. I went there last year with a tire problem and they eventually charged me over $2,000 for things that I dont need to change. My boyfriend said people charged women more sometimes. I wonder if thats the case. Anyway, I wont go again

I got a screw in my tire the night before Christmas eve. On Christmas eve, I desperately called around hoping I could find an auto shop to take my car in for an evaluation, however was told by a couple of them that I would have to come after Christmas or new year because their schedules were full. I was about to give up and accept that I may have to put on the spare and spend the holiday without a transportation, but my friend suggested me to give Broadway a call. I am glad I did. The owner heard my issue over the phone, and just said it was a small problem, and they could fix it right away. I really appreciated their flexibility and hard work. I got my car back that day, and was charged with a fair price. I am very satisfied with their service, and would recommend others to check it out.

On the 13th we had a flat on the way to a surgery appointment in Ann Arbor. We were unable to find anyone to fix our tire in less than an hour and a half. The people at Broadway Auto Care helped us immediately, we would like to thank them. How kind of them!

Brought my car in for squeaking AND slapping in the serpentine belt and also to change my front brake pads. This costed 280 for parts and 215 for labor (totaling at 525).Upon driving my car the first time, I heard squeaking. Which Confirms that they didnt run the car longer than a few minutes or test drive it before returning it (after brake work- which is negligent).After bringing the car back, they asked if the car had any work done on it previously. It had engine work two months ago and, regrettably, I shared this information. Without even glancing under the hood, the mechanic said that the squeaking was coming from the engine. I took my car to another auto shop and confirmed that it wasnt coming from the engine (which I already knew) and it wasnt.Ive now not had access to my car for multiple days and paid for services that I cannot confirm were necessary. In total, repairs that wouldve costed about 500-600 dollars will now total out to 950 dollars.

I had two vehicles serviced at this shop for three years and would still go here if I hadnt moved. Its a trustworthy place. They never recommended unnecessary repairs or services. In fact, I once took a vehicle to a dealership because of a warranty issue, and the dealership recommended 1.5k in additional repairs. I asked Broadway Auto about the same issues, and they said several were not a problem. Theyre very honest.

I have been to SO many mechanics in the Ann Arbor area, and I have found that because people around here have money, they dont care what they spend fixing their vehicles. Places around here get 4 star reviews even though they are overpriced and tack on unnecessary additional repairs, simply because people dont know any better. That is NOT the case with Broadway Auto. I have never had a better auto care experience in this city!I have a car with a lot of problems. Id spend around $500 every other month fixing something or another on the thing. I was about fed up with all of the mechanics near me charging me for stuff I didnt need when I decided to take a chance on Broadway Auto. I am glad I did.The first time they took my car, I had just had it in a different shop, and these guys wanted like $4000 to fix a problem with the engine I didnt know I had. This was more than the value of the car, so I took it into Broadway Auto for a second opinion. They had it for a couple days, took apart the whole thing and couldnt find the issue the other place was talking about. I was amazed when they called. I asked if anything else was wrong with it that needed to be fixed. They said no. Sent it back with me free of charge. The fact that they werent looking for a way to make money off of me, even after they had my vehicle for several days and spent so many hours trying to figure out the problem really made me like these guys and feel like I could trust them.I brought my car back when it did start acting up again. They fixed up my problem in no time, and the price was the most reasonable I have ever paid. I didnt feel cheated or ripped off in any way. I had my fiance come here for a problem with his truck shortly after and they had his issue fixed up within a day, once again very affordable and quality work.I wont go anywhere else in Ann Arbor. If you want an honest mechanic with high quality work and reasonable prices, then you shouldnt either.

One of the best shops Iv been to. Got a flat tire going from Ohio to Mid Michigan and I was in and out in 30 minutes. They did not try to up sell me, which I appreciate considering I was in a jam. Great customer services. I cannot go back because I do not live near by, however I would recommend to anyone.

While traveling my truck blew a brake line in downtown Ann Arbor. The tow truck operator recommended this shop and I can say with confidence that they are top notch. Not only did they have me back on the road within one day (which is impressive considering replacing all 4 brake lines is no quick task) but also made sure I was taken care of while getting myself situated. Would recommend without hesitation. Labor rates/parts were fair priced.

Problem was fixed!Came in March to get my brakes checked. After spending over $700 on brakes and rotors, two weeks later my rear brakes started making a horrible loud noise whenever I accelerated, and I was afraid to drive my car at all. I was incredibly disappointed (and out of a lot of money).

Such amazing service! Our car wouldnt start and broke down in a parking just next to the shop. My husband walked over and gave them our key, they got our car, and changed the battery for us even though they were going to close soon. There were still issues with the car after that the Ford Dealership has to fix but they were very kind about what our next steps were. Would absolutely go in again for vehicle repairs!

Professional service and fair price. More importantly, they are very honest and friendly. Rather than letting you fix everything, they will even suggest you not to fix something that is not worthwhile or necessary. Once Abe even delivered the fixed car to my house when I had no time to pick it up. Also it is a very convenient place for people who work near the hospital and the central campus.

These are the guys you want to go to, no doubt about it. Im skeptical of auto shops but these guys were the absolute best. Honest and genuine guys who understand how to do business. Truly wish I could rate them higher.

Broadway Auto was exceptional. From the moment my car stalled through the short 2 DAYS it took to replace and install my new axle shafts their service has been top notch. They waited past closing hours for myself and my car to arrive. They provided an estimate within the first hour the next morning of opening. Then they completed the job within 24 hours of my approval. They were priced reasonably and their customer service can not be beat. And to top it all off, my car is now running back to normal. This is the place to go in Ann Arbor for car service.

I strongly recommend this auto shop for their high quality service and nice job with very fair charge. The personnels are very friendly and offer great service. As a family business, they are willing to discuss with you about prices that fair for both, going through the details patiently and give you a good discount if you pay cash. I went to them primarily for bodywork but they reminded me of a tire with severe damage and high risk of blowout. They are right about that tire since I knew something happened to that one and have concerns for a while. They also mentioned since the other tires are all quite new and the abrasion is low so they only changed that damaged one instead of trying to sell me anything more than necessary. I really appreciate their work and attitude!

The staff and owner are upfront and honest and will explain everything about the repair. All my repairs have been reasonable and expected.

They were able to change the oil, and threw in an inspection of the front left brake pad for free! Turns out there was a seating issue during its last installation; these guys took better care of my car than the Honda specialists, and they offer a student discount to boot! If youre looking for a local mechanic thats willing to go the extra mile for your car, these guys are the real deal.

Me and my sister got stranded on the side of the road on our way to Grand Rapids MI from Cleveland OH. We had to get a tow and our car got dropped off at Broadway Auto care and sales. They did an excellent job of taking care of my sister and I. Most auto repair places I’ve been to take advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge and that was certainly not the case at this one! They were friendly, helpful, and informative with out charging ridiculous fees.

I found Abes shop after getting ripped off at Midas. Abe took care of my car for several years while I lived in Ann Arbor. He was always up front and honest about costs and was always willing to work with me to make sure I was happy. I highly recommend Broadway Auto over the bigger/commercial repair shops.

I am very happy with the service that they provided me. This is my first time having my car fixed at Broadway. Initially it was the reasonable price that attract me to give them a try (You might not be able to find as competitive price quote around the area). At the end of the service, I am not only very satisfied on the job and effort they have put into my car but also well worth the money I spent. One thing I also like about them is they are very honest. They will show you the exact price of the parts online and give you additional discount on it. Not only that, the mechanics working there are also very responsible. Long story short, I have to return to the shop again for one of the work they have done and they are very welcoming and respectful. I also get to talk directly to the mechanic about the issue and he is really nice about it and promise to fix the issue free of charge. Its not easy to find trustworthy Autocare that really care for their customers. This place is great. I’ve been here a few times recently, I got my rear brakes (rotors and pads) replaced in a matter of hours.
