What an awesome store to stumble upon! If you are an avid reader like I am, The Book Nook is a treasure trove. The bulk of the books cost $2.50, with a solid selection of $1 and even $.25 books! All of the employees are volunteers and all of the books are donated. The proceeds of the store go directly to benefit literacy in Madison County, so its a win win for all!

I loved this place when it was in the mounds mall.Im glad that they have found a new place to place a storefront.I do believe that much of the stock is used books...But dont let that keep you away they all will still read the same.I would also like to note that many of the books can be purchased for as little as 25 cents.They also tend to have a section of books that are free.Im excited to see them reopen in this location.Definitely check this place out!
