Always a fantastic experience at Accurate Vision! The doctors are excellent and spend time thoroughly examining my eyes, then review the results. I feel like I understand the outcome and recommendations. The staff is courteous and efficient from check in to check out. The opticians are pleasant, attentive and helpful when I choose my frames. I am pretty picky and at times indecisive. They help me through those hurdles and I always end up with great frames that suit my taste and personality. I have been seen in this clinic for more years than I can count and I always get lots of compliments on my new look and great glasses.

Dr. Crawford was really kind and took his time explaining everything to me. The opticians who helped me pick new frames were really helpful and friendly. I’ve been going to eye docs for decades now and I’d say this is my favorite spot in terms of the doctor and overall customer service. Frame selection was decent too.

This place was good when they were off Northern lights and owned by Victoria Blower but has gone down hill dramatically.Tried to hang with them through the transition but has not been any improvement for many years. Definitely a hard pass and they have lost my business.

I bought several pairs of glasses here (i.e., daily wear, sunglasses, backups). Multiple pairs overheated in my car on an astonishingly hot Alaskan day. The glasses were a little warped from the experience. They managed to repair all of them right away, and they did a phenomenal job of it. Much appreciated!

I am so pleased that I changed my care to him! Also, I appreciate that his office is using newer equipments for eye exams. It is so much more comfortable than before. Such a happy office from billing to fittings to exams. And they helped me find the perfect unique glasses that I get compliments on all the time. Extreme prescriptions for contacts hasn’t been a problem either, as it’s been difficult with other providers.

Had a problem once with the glasses that were shipped here and they handled it quickly and professionally. I followed Dr Smith from another clinic. I absolutely love Accurate Vision and Dr Smith. Everyone is incredibly nice and helpful! They have the latest equipment available. No more puffs in the eyes to check for glaucoma! You have the option to have them take. 200% to the back of the eye picture instead of having them dilate your eyes. Check in is very easy. Dr Smith and staff inform you of absolutely everything they are doing and take such good care of you. I would highly recommend them!

As the business transitioned the past few years, it was a little bumpy for me (I live out of town). [And honestly, the problem could have been me.]

Its a very clean very modern as well. My issue wasnt really until I left. Dr. Smith told me to go to the front desk and sign out so I did and I was standing there waiting for a minute for her to take her eyes off the computer and let me sign out and I asked if I could go and she said yea very rude wouldnt look up at me. I dont think Ill be coming here because of how uncomfortable they made me feel. I have already talked to a manager too they called me the next day after posting this.

I’ve gotten eye exams at another location but been getting glasses frames from Accurate for years. They’ve always had the best frames! Finally decided to have an eye exam there and had a great experience! Dr. Kyle Smith was friendly and courteous. He listened to my concerns about my glasses and working with computers, and the night blindness I’ve been experiencing. This is my first visit to a vision clinic of any sort.The paperwork was online so I already had that completed when I walked in the door, the receptionists were friendly, I was seen by a doctor within 5 minutes. The testing of my eyes and procedures were done efficiently. I received my glasses within a week and a half. I had a phone discussion today with the receptionist about bifocals and am awaiting a chat with the doctor. I like the way this place does business and makes me feel like my needs are being met. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I was reading through some of the comments and wanted to make sure I gave my opinion of this agency. Ive been going here for the past three years and will not switch. The staff here are all sorts of awesome, and have always been courteous and professional. In the past three years, Ive seen the exact same people working in the office each time. That speaks volumes to the management team.There have been times when my wait was a little longer than expected, but the treatment I received more than made up for the wait time. Staff was very helpful, and very friendly. I went super early, and expected to wait till my timer, but they were still able to see me within 10 minutes of arriving. They also have a great selection of glasses. What usually takes me almost an HOUR of looking, only took 15 minutes. Super happy with Accurate Vision! :)

Quick and easy. I really cant emphasizie that enough. I was LITERALLY seen at my appointment time. The technician and Dr were great and I didnt feel I was being sold services or products (one of the reasons why I left my former eye doctors). The optician helped me pick the perfect glasses - and even the delivery of the glasses was fast. At least two weeks faster than my previous eye doctor.Recommend highly.

I highly recommend Accurate Vision Clinic for your vision needs. I find them to be highly professional and informative at all levels of service. My questions were answered completely by the technician who performed the tests by Dr. Crawford and certainly by Roz when ordering lens. The front desk is very competent and enjoyably personable.

I moved across town and wanted to find a more convenient optometrist. After checking out a few nearby websites, I decided to give Accurate a try. The facility was quite nice, staff friendly/helpful, and the doctor was excellent as well. However, they charge an extra $90 out of pocket on top of the insurance-covered exam to write a contact lens prescription and neither of my past two optometrists charged extra for that. The experience was wonderful, however I have a hard time feeling it is worth an additional $90 cash for the annual exam. Great practice, but I think the pricing was a bit out of line.

I have been a patient of Dr. Blowers for over 20 years and think she is a fine eye doctor. She takes time to do a complete exam and carefully fine tunes my glasses for the very best vision. Yee and Roz do a great job of fitting frames and taking care of the ordering process. They always take care of my insurance paperwork accurately and timely. I love this place. Easy access and parking, great midtown location.

My wife came in here to have her eyes checked because she called beforehand and they told her it is common to get window tint prescription and she felt like the doctor didn’t care or believe that she has eye problems and no tint because he didn’t want to get sued and sunglasses would be better but she almost crashed because the tint is now off of our car and the sunglasses made it worse. Not to mention they made her feel really uncomfortable here when she was leaving. Will never come here.

I loved the staff and I was always able to find amazing frames.Then I learned that Roz, my main reason for going there, was let go (forced into retirement) after a lengthy illness of her husband. Following his death, Roz returned to work only to be informed that a “retirement” party was being planned for her.Now, I went back year after year because I loved the two ladies who helped with finding glasses. My friends and family also went there because they adored the two ladies.Following the forced “retirement” of Roz, her partner in crime left Accurate Vision because she could not accept the way Roz was treated after all of her years of dedication to the company.I will NEVER return to Accurate Vision and I strongly encourage people to stay as far away as possible. Treating a long time dedicated team member who was responsible for a large part of their clientele is just not acceptable. My money will be spent elsewhere...... I will be following Roz’s protege..... But first I will find where she has gone.Never again Accurate Vision!!! NEVER!

I have been wearing glasses for 18 years as of the date of this review. Been to tons of clinics, and they are by far one of the best. Several places in Anchorage are AWFUL, but Accurate Vision Clinic definitely sets themselves apart by being genuine and good. Their new location also looks amazing.

I will continue to use Accurate Vision as my familys eye doctor for as long as we live in the Anchorage area. Polite, but not qualified to be an optometrist. Dilated my eyes BEFORE doing a vision test - of course this will mess up my prescription. My prescription is very strong, any variance will cause problems.I didnt realize how stupid this was until after I had left and thought about what had happened.

Dr Crawford has fully taken over from Dr Blower now, and I have really enjoyed getting to know him. Hes good at what he does and has a great chairside manner. I love the new office space and the staff here is friendly and helpful!

All of the staff, the front desk, the assistants, the optometrists, they are all incredibly friendly, professional, prompt, helpful, and never try to oversell on unnecessary add-ons. They have an excellent selection of frames and are well-versed in the nuances of benefit coverage.

Fast, friendly, and affordable. The doctor is very knowledgeable and the staff is helpful. I was in and out in an hour, and they ran more tests on my eyes than any other place has done in my 20+ years of wearing contact lenses. The office is nothing fancy, which is probably why my bill was $300 less than the last place I visited! I think the $300 savings is well worth compromising with the soothing music, flashy lighting, and $500 frames in the optical shop that were the staples of my last eye doctors office. My advice: Go here.

I have always had a great experience here but the new offices add a whole new layer of awesomeness. Roz takes such a personal interest in frame selection balancing comfort, style, and practicality perfectly. Dr. Blower is SO knowledgeable and willing to take the time to share it.

Experienced some of the best bedside manners in the profession. They had the latest in diagnostic equipment and the office and waiting room was contemporary and welcoming. Large selection of glasses and contacts. I even got a complimentary Kaladi Bros. coffee because my appointment was 10 minutes late. They know how to treat their patients so that the patients keep coming back.

I saw Dr. Blower, and she was great. I would give her 5 stars. Gave me her professional, unbiased opinion on my eye exam, retinal health mapping, and contact lens exam. I guess it was her last day of work before retiring, and she handed off my exam file to Dr. Crawford. Dr. Crawford disregarded his former associates professional opinion and decided that he could not get me into the same brand of contact lenses that I have been wearing for 5 years comfortably. He did this without ever putting one finger or piece of equipment to my eye. Without even meeting me! How unprofessional is that! Im disgusted by this type of business practice, and my recommendation to the public is to go somewhere.

Accurate Vision is definitely the Eye Doctor for you! One of the hardest things to find today are honest and genuine doctors who are passionate of about ones health and well-being and here at Accurate Vision I can guarantee all your worries are put to rest. My vision has been deteriorating over time and because my cornea is not at (as I would say) a cheap rate, cost of specially made contact lenses from RGP to Torics or ridiculously large glasses became burdensome instead of necessity. I’m pretty sure there a lot of us out there that has gone through this in life, when we just can’t bear the cost of our contacts so we stretch out the duration of a pair just to get us by yet increasing more risk to our eyes.One thing I can definitely say this year is that I’ve been blessed to have received the care that I did from, Dr. Crawford. I’m blessed to have crossed path with someone who didn’t just look for an easy fix, but invested his time and passion to research my case to provide me with the best solution available. In my case the best solution was to take on something completely new and somewhat frightening at first - wearing contacts called Sclera lens. But Dr. Crawford didn’t just hand them over and require me to learn the process and care of them, but he patiently and enthusiastically walked me through the steps and process, made adjustments that he knew were best for me, and that kind of act alone, was assurance to me that everything was going to work out for my good. Sclera Lens have given me a new set of eyes, I can’t even remember when was the last time I can say I have had a good pair of eyes or contactsDon’t let anyone tell you differently, don’t settle for less, you can get your vision back to how it used to be, it just needs to be put in the right hands and care. Invest your time and money in an eye doctor you know finds joy in bringing hope and well-being to his patients, I guarantee, Dr. Crawford is the Optometrist for you. Who would have thought, Sclera Lenses would give me the best result I’ve been searching for in years. Head on down to Accurate Vision if you’re in the town of Anchorage or Alaska, this is one visit you won’t regret!

Was 15 minutes early to my apointment for my daughter. It took them TWO HOURS to get out of their office due to some pretty obvious overbooking. When I had sat there for 25 minutes past my scheduled apointment time and informed them I had other apointments to get to, their receptionist acted like I should have expected the delay because she had informed me she was squeezing in my daughter when I made the apointment. This could not be further from the truth. I would have made an apointment on another day, or another time, or with another doctor. When we were finally seen by the doctor it was over an hour-and-a-half past our scheduled apointment time- effectively making us late to apointment number two.We wont be back.

I wouldnt recommend this place. For one, they dont take the time to really evaluate your eyes, they rush through everything and basically say youre fine because they want to get you out of there as soon as possible. The doctor is a very nice handsome man but honestly hes not that good of a optical doctor. He said my eyes were fine.. a different doctor said my eyes are borderline glaucoma and now I have eye problems,he also mis-diagnoses. The old woman at the glasses section is rude and tries to make decisions for you when choosing youre OWN glasses! tf? Definitley go to a different place.
