Absolutely perfect coffee!!! The baristas were super sweet, patient, and aimed to please! They had us taste the coffee prior to leaving the drive-thru to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Also, we had never had malasadas before and those were heavenly!!! Thank you so much for the kindness and hospitality! Hope to come back here whenever were in town again!!!

We didnt start visiting local coffee huts until after the pandemic began. Our preference was always for sitting in a local coffee shop. But once in-store dining vanished, we had to explore Anchorages unique drive-thru coffee scene.After sampling widely, its clear that Aftershock Espresso is the ruler of them all. Why? Lots of reasons! Service is amazing. The baristas are always friendly and helpful with new flavor suggestions. Option are so wide! Aftershock does more than just coffee and Italian soda. They having stunning sparkling lemonades and comforting golden milk. They do keto and vegan and whatever stuff youre into. Their cinnamon rolls are perfect AND they also have Hawaiian donuts!!! Plus, they do offer dine-in seating . . . eventually. Cant wait for this stupid pandemic to blow over.

Nice place for a quick local coffee. Worth the stop if you are craving caffeine. Would definitely go here over a starbucks.

What an adorable cafe! im visiting anchorage for the week from portland, oregon and was on the hunt for a space to relax with some good coffee and work on my novel. my search is over! this is absolutely the perfect spot. cozy, lively, and with a very friendly owner/staff, you really cant go wrong here. if youre in a hurry they have a drive thru, but i do recommend stopping in if you can! the decor has a charming shabby chic vibe, and there are tons of plants in the many windows. oh, and the coffee is lovely. feels like home 💗

Hands down the reason we moved to Anchorage!Okay, maybe not the reason but this coffee is that good. If you love flavored coffees, the Aftershock Special is our go-to. You get the same great flavor hot or cold so we dont have to switch between a winter and summer drink here.The girls are amazing and always put you in a better mood when you talk to them! Great way to start and end the day.

Ive been going here since before it was even Aftershock Espresso. The customer service is always amazing! I love everyone there and my sister worked there for a time. The coffee is damn near always perfect and the prices are awesome. Definitely a place to go when youre on Minnesota.

Very friendly staff. Small spot with good wifi connection. Most people use their drive through but there is a warm cozy seating inside.

I went with my daughter and we ordered three drinks. One sparkling lavender lemonade, one white peach pomegranate sparkling lemonade, and a blue raspberry coconut Red Bull smoothie. The two lemonades were horrible because they forgot the lemonade and the Red Bull smoothie tasted awful. We went back through the drive thru and the baristas were rude, didn’t even apologize and they just poured some of the original drinks out and added to them. I will not go there again after this experience. All our previous experiences were great, but I do not care to be treated like this again nor to pay $20 for terrible drinks.

I gave it 4 stars because the line was loooong. Pretty sure the guy ordered everything. BUT gal was very helpful and got us something yummy. Even though we didnt know what we wanted.

The owner deeply cares about her employees and it shows! All the girls are just the sweetest there and make the yummiest combinations!

They are always so nice and if they mess up they dont take it out on the customer. They rarely make a mistake though. Thats pretty nice too

The owner is a nightmare of a human being, but the fact that she’s paying her employees under the table is going to be a problem when the IRS comes to audit, which they will as they’ve been notified of the fraud. Hopefully the new owner has been putting that money in savings, those fines are gonna add up, sugar. Take your business to an honest, law abiding citizen, who pays the taxes they owe.

Absolutely the best coffee Ive ever had, including keto coffee selections! A bit pricey, but no worse than Starbucks. Love the quick drive through window! Cute stickers sealing the cup spouts!

Their Thai Tea is disgusting. Its not even a Thai tea. Its nothing but half and half and a tea powder. I called to asked how they made it and the lady tried to convince me that is how it is made at Thai restaurants. Thai tea is my absolute favorite indulgence. I even have the TEA LEAVES at home. I know that it is a brewed tea. Not this disgusting half and half mixture. Also...Thai Iced Tea Recipe (Cha Yen) - Authentic Thai Street Food Style! There are few things on the streets of Thailand more refreshing than a Thai style iced tea. After the tea is brewed, its mixed with sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk to make it creamy, rich, and sweet

Handy location and sweet interior (except for the traffic noise from Minnesota) but the coffee is just ok. Since they care the same price as other premium coffee shops, I expect a good shot with crema and less bitterness.
