If youre looking for a hot cup of coffee in Downtown Anchorage then Kaladi Brothers Coffee has your back.Perfect location right next to the Downtown Transit Center, so you can have a hot cup of coffee for the bus ride. I wouldnt say a quick cup of coffee because sometimes the line can go out the door. This location really needs two cash registers.The store layout is designed for more tables than merchandise, so you should stay and do some people watching. I really appreciate the space around the tables and chairs too.

Convenient to the PAC (performing arts center). Still wondering why they dont stay late to catch the theater crowd as they leave. Food and drink that is quick to get.Sort of miss the Taco Bell that was here but they never stayed late either.Coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Wraps, scones and desserts.

Usually this is a wonderful place to stop for a treat and a drink. However, yesterday I was treated quite rudely by the staff. One would think there is silverware out for patrons. However there was none. So keep looking around thinking Ill be offered son. But I was not. There was a barista behind the counter doing I dont know what. I had to ask three times hey can I have some silverware? And then she finally turned around and said just a minute and then she went back to whatever the heck she was doing. And then after she finished what she was doing she handed me a fork. It takes you two seconds to hand me a damn fork. Hope they give the staff an attitude adjustment.

Good atmosphere and delicious food. The coffee was where it fell short but normally kaladi brothers tastes different so I think just a bad shot. Still can drink and am enjoying myself. Would come again.

A lot better than Starbucks (which I dont patronage). A lot of options. I am simple and dont get into the girly drinks, just straight espresso. Fantastic. Girls very much liked their drinks with pumps of this and that, and a drizzle of something, and made with some type of milk made from some plant on venus that has zero nutritional value (can you taste the coffee?) Nice litlle pastry selection, nothing with a surprise stuffing thank God... Who stuffs a pastry with sweet potato and tofu (gross), yeah, my boy experienced that somewhere there in Anchorage, BOLO for that. (READ THE MENU).

First time to Alaska. First morning in Anchorage and Kaladis was on the schedule for breakfast! Wonderful coffee, friendly staff and delicious food. I had a reindeer sausage breakfast burrito and my friend had the 4 cheese quiche. I highly recommend eating here.

I will always have a place in my heart for this SHOP .they allowed ( so long as I bought some thing and didnt cause trouble) to sit and paint and figure out how to gain in my skills.six months I practically lived in this shop .thank you guys I love you and your coffeee if the f,n best on the planet ..and now here I sit 30 artshowings including one in Seattle over 700 pieces sold.all because of the kindness of the staff of downtown kaladies coffee .MUCH LOVE !

Kaladi breve is fantastic. One of the best breves Ive had. They roast their own beans, and they smell wonderful. I look forward to grinding and brewing. I got the Mexican coffee.

All Kaladi shops are great. Sometimes the homeless go here to stay warm, so you have to request a bathroom key. Still a nice shop.

I ordered a white chocolate americano and got a doppio with a side of sass from the blonde barista when i tried to get it corrected. She gave me a nasty look and said “you get what you get.” A security guard started literally waddling towards me so I just left the doppio on the counter. This place is a nightmare. I would not recommend coming here! I just wanted my coffee.

I stopped in to Kaladi Bros, the downtown location, service was prompt and the barista was knowledgeable. While the table I was at was wobbly, the coffee, as usual, was amazing! I had a 20oz Americano and it was delicious.

Not great. went in to send a few emails before work started, and they came up to me and saidyou have to make a purchase in the next 5 minutes or you will be asked to leave . I mean it makes sense for homeless people but I was wearing nice clothes and had my laptop up and running. just because I didnt want coffee that specific time doesnt mean I am sucking off their WiFi. that lady deserved to be fired. she was rude.

I came here all the time and bought coffee on a daily and use their back room to work on homework. Its actually the best place to get some work done because its quiet and private. That back room was my favorite place. I even referred tourists to come here and grab a cup of Joe when I use to work downtown. BUT there has been several occasions that I had really bad customer service with a certain girl that worked the register. She mostly works in the morning, she always gave me attitude when I simply asked her a question, like what is my balance on my gift card? one time she had me wait there while she was doing absolutely nothing but staring off to the barista beside her. As I look at her to find a reason why she told me to hold on before taking my order. I have no ideal what her deal is with me but its every time she works the register, I just want to skip buying coffee. Also, I just recently came here (which will be the last) to finish up homework on my laptop. I been there all day and not one person came and bother me but as I left and came back from getting something to eat a Asian girl came back and told me you cant just hang out here you have to buy something I told her I did and I do all the time. I been sitting here all day and EVERYDAY pretty much but its ok Ill just leave, I feel very unwelcome. I am basically a regular but after that experience I am definitely not going to bother going back there again. I also try getting ahold of the retail manager and even sent a message on their website but no response back. I guess Kaladi Brother downtown lost a good customer!

This is basically a starbucks in 1991. They focus on flavored up and sugary beverages with no real skill behind the coffee. Get with the times Kaladi, Starbucks reinvented the coffee industry. You should probably try something new. Dont get me started on the staff

What i wanted wasnt made. theyre telling me they only make the ham and cheese croissant in the morniing. the coffee is pretty good though. Just ordered a quiche it took 7 minutes but tge quiche wasnt hot fron the microwave amd they need a handicap button fir the door

I noticed this kaladi is a bit different from the other locations. I imagine they serve a lot of buisness people since its downtown. It seems not as cultural as the rest of the kaladi brother locations that I love. Overall Im grateful that they have this location. Coffee was great and it was an overall good experience.

I was on your to Starbucks but decided to stop here. Why not try a local place. I love spiced chai tea but this one lacked flavor, consistency, and that bite/kick. They were out of several sandwiches, its Saturday! Why arent you prepared. page alternate ham and Swiss Sandwich was a waste. The cashier, who must have been new, came to my table and asked if wanted mayo or mustard, why didnt you ask that earlier when I ordered. When the sandwiche came she brought packets of mayo and the sandwich already had mustard on it, why? Really? This place falls in line with a lot of places here in Anchorage that just dont have good food. #dissapointment

Ok, Ive been coming here for 9 yrs. On a daily bases I have seen people come & go from awesome employees to ones that shouldnt even be able to buy coffee here, I understand also that its downtown and they have to deal with dumb asses but to treat a regular with disrespect,Ive spent 1000s$ here in the years Ive been coming here.The people they have working here have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL... AND THEY TAKE THERE JOBS AS A CHIC THAT MAKES COFFEE WAY TO SERIOUSLY!!!!I had a bag of chips on the table along with the coffee I just spent 6$ on this lady takes time out actually puts down the coffee shes making to walk over and tell me no food from the outside and I had to leave. She is so lucky Im a nice person cause she deserved to be yelled at. Now Ive had issues w/ other people that have been very rude in the past but this time I will not be back. Neither will MY husband/ sister/daughter or niece. Kaladi needs to do something about the people they hire, people will stop coming because you hire stuck up rude Bitches. June 11th 1pm 2013
