What an amazing one stop shop for lots of needs for a vehicle. I went in to get my tint done. It was about 2 hours to get the job done. Which was an okay amount of time. Monique and Drey did the work. It looks amazing. They answered all my questions and gave me the after care info that I needed. The only thing I wish they did different is I wish they put the Dont roll your window down sticker over the window controls. But that is just minor so still 5 stars. I plan to go back for more work. Go stop in or give them a call... you wont regret it.

Beyond happy I went here. I had initially taken my car somewhere else not knowing any better and after four return trips I gave up and went to shades of competition with a laundry list of things they need to fix for me. I anticipated rather than fix a short I had they would go with the easy fix of installing a 4 channel amp but they were actually able to find what was wrong with it which save me a lot of extra money. Very knowledgeable staff got me in way faster than some of the other shops which werent going to be able to get me in until after New Years. I am exceedingly pleased with the work I had done here cannot more strongly urge you to go here first.

Multiple window tint jobs done here on my cars and friends cars, all turned out great. Highly recommend these guys vs any where else I have had tint done.

So I originally went to shades of Competition to have a $500 remote starter installed. I received the car back missing some screws under the dash. The rear break-light did not work properly so Checked fuses bulbs flasher modules and rear wiring. I asked to have them take a look at it since it had went out when they installed the remote starter. They did grudgingly and told me a wire Located behind somewhere else was the issue and if I had the problem again to jiggle wires and trace the issue myself. And charged me $85... so Sure enough I took apart the underside of my dash (where the remote starter was) moved it around and my lights began to work again. So I called and talked to the manager and he said to bring it back in and they would fix it and refund my money if it was there fault. Which it was yet they did not put my dash back together nor did they want to refund my money. I will never go here again.

These guys have been around longer than the rest of the competition for a reason they have excellent service and depending on availability they will get it installed same day. Give them your business.

They walked me through the features of the remote start and the security system and made sure I felt comfortable with the system before I departed. I’ve had two remote starts installed here. Solid work, and the Viper systems they use are the best. Installs take about 4 hours.

Very pleased with my experince. Estimate for job was 4 hrs, but my vehicle was ready in under 3. Owner gave me a ride to my yoga class and when a friend dropped me off, job was done. I read some poor reviews from years ago, so wanted to share my positive experience.

Quality Shop that went above and beyond for us. My wife and I came up from Homer to get an Auto Start and back up camera installed on her F-150. There was a mix up and they did not tell us to bring both factory keys to program the remote start properly. They sent me back to Homer with directions for programming and told me to call them for help over the phone. When that did not work I explained I could not travel back to Anchorage as I work remote and had no time in my remaining time off and that this remote start was for my wifes truck who is 6 months pregnant and I did not want to leave with her having to go outside early every morning to start her truck. Shades of Competition sent a Technician all the way to Homer to program the remote start, they really went above and beyond for us and I will highly recommend them to anybody and be a life long customer!

I walked in looking to swap out an aftermarket stereo unit for a newer one with Bluetooth/USB - nothing fancy, just the cheapest option. Picked one off the wall and made an appointment for the same day. Total installation took about an hour and looks and works great. They also offered cheaper quality stereo options than other places if youre after the basics and not looking to spend an arm and a leg.

Robert gave exceptional service, I had lighting issues that were expeditiously solved! Would definitely recommend their work to others!

This retail store and auto shop sells high end car audio equipment, auto accessories and decorative parts, and window films.

I had some window tinting installed on the Front two windows of my 17 Explorer and a sunstrip across the front windshield. I asked to have the tint on the front be darkened just enough to match the back.I was greeted promptly and given a quick quote of $140 based on my request. They were immediately able to perform the work (didnt expect that) even working around the 65 lb. Shepard while I waited just down the street @Eddies getting lunch.The quality of work appears to be excellant, edges are clean and uniform around the entire window. It has been a long time since Ive had windows tinted but the quality of product installed also seems to have improved considerably...the film is darn near optical quality. I cant tell that a film is installed, Im used to the film being cloudy for days after installation....not here, perfectly clear now.Im really happy with the work, the product and mostly the fruendly customer service...the only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars....upon returning to pay, my price became $160 without explanation...I paid it without comment, they did watch my dog for an hour.

Everytime I have brought a car in the work was perfect and to the specs I wanted tint and led interior kit. Will be back soon

Had 2 vehicles tinted and had issues with the tinted job went to the shop to fix the issue and never did fix the problem with the work manager/owner explanation was car had dust on windows that’s why theirs bubbles on the tint duh you have to clean it first next time I went to the shop explanation was vehicles weren’t to old duh vehicles were 2016 and 2018 what a stu### explanation I DO NOT Recommend this shop at all would give -100 stars

I had a very bad experience they installed a simple remote starter. They either wired it wrong or put a defected remote in my truck becouse ever since my truck left there shop my truck never kept breaking down becouse of how they installed it my transmission kept going into limp mode. And it was in and out of the shop for 10 days intill they figured out what was the problem with my truck. And it was the remote starter the whole time. And as soon as they removed the remote from my truck i never haf an issue with my truck again. When i came back to the shop for a refund cory the owner did not want to refund my money back he was very unprofessional and made me sighn a paper stateing i will not sue him for all the costs i had to pay to find out why my truck is breaking down every day which i spent $2000.00 dollars all behind a stupid remote starter from shades of compitition i would never recomend this place to my worriest enemy they truely suck
