This center serves as the parts hub for everywhere north of Anchorage. If you order parts in places like Valdez, they send the parts overnight, except on weekends. I actually appreciate that. Heres my issue with this place. I had a part ordered to be sent to Valdez. The store ordered it and informed me it would be on. Valdez the following day. The distribution center put the part on a shipment to Glenallen, a town two hours north. When the issue was discussed in call to a manager named Anthony, he reiterated that the part could not be recovered that day. He also refused to accept liability or admit fault in screwing up the shipment. His words were however they want to handle it is how we can settle it. Thus is piss-poor customer service. Normally, I would not use a Napa store because their prices are a bit steeper and the quality seems a bit lower to me. But any time Ive had an issue with a part at Autozone, advance auto parts, or oReilly, they did everything they could to make it right. So this solidifies my reasons not to use Napa. But the thing that bothers me is how the distribution center handled it. Heres a bit of advice: when you make a mistake, own the mistake, admit to it, and do what you can to make it right. Its the basics of customer service.
