Located inside of the Anaheim Packing district, you have to stop by here for dessert or drinks! I got a bunch of different ice creams to try out and the Ferraro Rocher was my absolute favorite! So good, so crunchy! & the hazelnut gelato was so smooth! Then I finished off by getting a double strawberry Italian sparkling water with Boba which was absolutely refreshing & tasty! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Wow, I am AMAZED. When they said the ice cream is from real fruit they really meant it. All of the sorbets are SO SO good. The chocolate ice cream is delicious but we can find at other stores, but the fruit ice cream, wow... I will come back to try morning, but I recommend trying mixed berries, green tea with dipped dark chocolate and coconut flakes, and classic strawberry popsicle!
The sorbette popsicles are really badOne of them probably has more sugar than a 2L soda. Better off with the other flavors or ice cream
DO NOT GET THE VEGAN STAWBERRY CHOCOLATE GELATO SHAKE. Literally the worst drink I’ve ever had in my entire life.
Popbar is great! Its the perfect dessert after eating at the packing house.I like milky/creamy Popsicles, so I usually get the green tea or the strawberry gelato with milk chocolate and waffle cone. The waffle cone topping is like crack. Theres also this yogurt Popsicle I tried recently which was pretty good. I dont think it tasted great with the chocolate. They should add fruity pebbles as toppings to go better with the gelato flavors!
Chipotle style ice cream anyone? This place is definitely your one stop dessert bar. You can customize it anyone way you like. Great for hot summer days. The ice cream is delicious, but its quite expensive for an ice cream bar.Hopefully once the hype die down, so will the price and the insane line. Aint no body got time for that.
Delicious and worth the wait. When my non-drinking pals visit, I take them here.As you may know, the packing house has a lot to see and can be overwhelming to new visitors. So when my out-of-town friends visit, I first take them to the Park, then we snack on our cool treats while walking around the other little shops in the packing house.Watch out, the nuts will dribble. My favorite addition to their flavors is black sesame - its very full of that nostalgic sesame flavor from Taiwanese desserts. For my lactose intolerant peeps, there are non dairy options available.
Yummy 😋
Love love love their pistachio ice cream with milk chocolate and nuts
3.5 star!I know this place is overrated and heard plenty of negative stuff regarding pricing and such but I actually really enjoyed my Popsicle.I picked the Milk strawberry mixed with some almond and dipped half into milk chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate and I was happy that each bite was almost with the $5.50 !Overall it may be because of the popsicle i picked ..so choose wisely!
Delicious. Options for everyone (source: my lactose intolerance) and delicious flavors to boot. After eating would fully expect to pay up to 7 or 8 dollars elsewhere for these treats.
Very cute and very good. Theyre decorated so nicely that it almost makes you not want to eat them! But you should because theyre just marvelous. Just take a picture and all your friends will be jealous.Greatest idea ever to turn gelato into a delicious art piece. You really cant go wrong with any of the flavors - they are all made to perfection.
Its such a refreshing experience! It just makes you FEEL good! The strawberry sorbet is a MUST.
Chocolate was the perfect amount of sweetness. My wife enjoyed her chocolate covered strawberry. You can pick dippings and toppings.
Oh goodness, if you like passion fruit. You need to try their passion fruit sorbet bar or you have not lived. I do definitely think theyre pricey and Im not sure Id wait in as long of a line as I did again, but Im glad I know what the hype is about. I was also a fan of the salted caramel Gelato pop. Probably wouldve never stopped in if I hadnt already been at the Packing House but oh boy, Ill probably have cravings for the passion fruit sorbetto pop for years to come.
I liked their popsicle bars. They have a variety of flavors, dips, and toppings. You just have to eat it fast, because it melts quickly and it can get messy. Line wasnt long when I ordered.
Great place at the Anaheim Packing DistrictThe concept is that you make your own custom ice cream bars. Think of it as a chipotle for ice cream bars where you choose what to put on your ice cream bar.Lines do get long here when the place is busy, but its literally at most probably like a 10 minute wait.
The popsicles are definitely tasty and decorated cutely but they are overpriced. It can cost up to $5 for each one. They have a lot of flavors and toppings to choose from.
So much selection to decorate your Gelato with toppings. It was really good and tasted amazing!
If you like jumping on bandwagons and spending your money on overhyped food trends, this is a solid option.might be better off getting a nut covered Haagen daz ice cream bar. the pop wasnt bad, but Im very understimulated for SoCal eats. you think that ull be blown away with all the food choices in the packing district, but then you sadly realize that they are all just hypes. I got the yogurt pop and I was hoping for a tart froyo taste, but it was on the bland side and the bar was icey instead of creamy. the bars are a very petite size, kinda pricey. they hand dip in front of you which is a nice creative touch. I was worried for a sec that it was too late for me to get another topping, but the employee told me it wasnt too late, did a chocolate drizzle and gave me another topping.
My favorite. Taste great! Line moves fast.
Long line but goes by quick and many flavors options. Pricey for an ice cream bar but nice for a first time experience.
Come to Anaheim on vacation, walked from where we were staying to the The Packing House and fell in love with popbar.♥️
Loved it! They have a lot of options, worth the drive.
Popbar is no doubt delicious. They have a variety of flavored popsicles that you can dip and add toppings to. It is over 5 bucks after all the bells and whistles are added. The only draw back is that the line could be anywhere from 1 minute to out the door! Ill try to get another on my next visit to the Packing House, but only if the line is reasonable.3.5 stars
The best! Choose the flavor your popsicle and toppings.
Delicious Sorbet and Gelato Pops. And the packing district location is really nice as well.
Popbar is located in the new up-and-coming Packing District marketplace and is available on the second floor. Youll probably see a long line since it seems to be one of more popular places in the locale and with good reason. There are soft popsicles with quite a lot of different flavors. I got green tea - my friend got strawberry. From there, you can mix them with different items like nuts and choose a variety of drizzles. Price-wise, youre looking at about $4 + another $1 for the toppings. Its a bit pricey; the line takes about 30-40 minutes depending on the night you go and the item isnt exactly huge. However, the taste is great and the experience is pretty unique.
A bit pricey for ice cream buts its good.
Very good quality gelato with a great selection of poppings. Great quick dessert.
Really people...I thought we were in line for a Taeyang concert. So many people in line, mostly girls of course. I even wore my I Taeyang t-shirt. Ive been wanting to see him perform live.Hes probably going to take off his shirt. His abs are so freakin ripped. Sigh...Ill never be like that, but a boy can dream. Thats why I wait in a half an hour line to get myself fat from some popsicles.
Line is usually out the door. But the popcicles are pretty tasty.
The watermelon popsicle dipped in white chocolate is delicious! must try!
This is modern ice cream at its best.
So fun, very good food court!
The green tea wasnt so bad. The pop bars are pretty pricey. I think this place is overly hyped. Id probably wont be back.
Very unique style of icecream serving. They have a nice setup. You can call it the chipotle of icecream. Icecream sticks with flavours of vanilla, hazelnut etc with option of variety of chocolate dippings with toppings of dry nuts like pistachio, almonds etc. Tastes good but pretty long queues during weekends.
Location: 2nd floor inside Anaheim Packing District.Popbar is relatively new so expect a long 30-45 minutes wait before you can get a chance to customize your own ice cream bar.We shared a hazelnut bar dipped in dark chocolate and then sprinkled with chopped almonds. Its Popbars version of a Ferrero Rocher and yes, it tasted just like it!For $5 a pop, its a tad pricey. Im not sure if its worth the money and time.It is worth trying if the line isnt long.
Came here on Tuesday night for dinner and when my friend mentioned that the line for Popbar was short, I figured why not?20 minutes later, I got to the front of the line and was a tad overwhelmed. I was torn between hazelnut and dulce de leche and the woman behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. She told me the hazelnut ferrero rocher is one of the popular flavors which made my choice a lot easier. Done.At the toppings counter, the woman assembled it pretty quickly and voila! The actual bar was good. Was it amazing, mind-blowing or worth standing in any kind of line for? Nah. It did taste like a less sweet ferrero though, so the flavor is definitely aptly named. Good but not amazing. I wish it was smaller, and for $5, Id rather get Coolhaus instead.Definitely worth trying once! But for the price and the line, Ill save my sweet tooth for somewhere else.
So I came here with my favorite abg litoazngrl on a weekend during the day, Waited like 30 minutes. Longest line at the Anaheim Packing District.Icecream bar places popping up all over the placeBeing the sly cat, I asked the cute floor worker what should I get (how else do you get her number?) She recommended me something that was customized and would taste like a Girl Scout Cookie Samosa. I told her go for it!Prices are like 4-4.50 per bar then .50 cents for coating, and .50 for toppings. The abg got pistachio bar drizzle in chocolate and some kind of nuts. Her bar was very creamy. My Bar was pretty much a coconut bar, covered in chocolate, some nuts, covered again in chocolate, more nuts, and drizzled with some more sauce. It really did taste like a Girl Scout Cookie. My Coconut Geleto wasn’t as creamy as mi amigaComparing this to Garden Grove Frozen Bar, the bars here are much more creamierEnd Result2 delicious coated bars 11 dollars. A little pricy for ice cream but not too bad and its a nice treat, I would choose this over Joes Italian Ice and probably over pop bar.
Ive been here a few times and the pops were pretty good. Im not so hot on the price so hopefully that can change in the future. The greatest discovery I came across is probably the secret menu, so if youre not sure on topping, the secret menu is definitely a sure hit. Hopefully theres more added later because I suck at discovering new flavors. I once got mango and chocolate dip and it didnt taste so good but thats my own fault for being so uncreative. Im also a bad cook so if youre like me, go with the secret menu. Maybe you creatives out there can add to this menu.1. Green Tea Kit Kat- Green tea gelato- White chocolate drizzle or half dip- Milk chocolate dip- Waffle cone topping2. Ferrero Rocher- Haznel Nut Gelato- Milk chocolate- Waffle cone topping- Almond topping3. Samoa Cookie- Coconut Gelato- Milk Chocolate dip- Caramel corn- Coconut shavings- Waffle cone topping4. I love pop bar a bit more expensive then Id like but a great treat.
A little pricey but tasty. Watch out for a long line.
Awesome popsicles place!
Very happy, really enjoyed
