I love their houseplant section! It always has so many options for outrageously good prices. Every plant Ive ever gotten from here is still alive to this day, ranging from 4 years to 2 months old. Ive gotten other items here such as paint and hardware and those are pretty standard. Everyone here is always super friendly and always knows where everything is.
We purchased a complete basement flooring project with The Home Depot in American Fork. The employees who helped us lacked knowledge about simple questions related to our project. When trying to call the store, I would be transferred multiple times and wait on hold for 20-30 minutes. It took two months before they could schedule the project. When the product finally arrived to our home, prior to installation, they had sent the incorrect floorboards. We were able to return the incorrect ones after a big hassle. Then, we found out they had stored the flooring planks outside. Every single one of them was warped beyond use. This delayed our flooring project another two weeks. At first, they tried to blame us for the ruined flooring. They initially wanted us to return the bad flooring and drive to Sandy to pick up the replacement flooring when they are the ones who ruined it in the first place and released it in that condition. They barely gave us any consideration for the inconvenience. While in the process of hiring a painter, we were told they used unpaintable caulk on the floorboards. This matched our experience in two of the rooms we painted ourselves. When we contacted them to fix it, a representative came to our house to inspect the caulk. He tried to claim that it would be impossible for them to have used the wrong caulk. He showed a picture of what they typically use and said he would take photos and get back to us. He never contacted us again. If you are considering a flooring project, please go anywhere but The Home Depot. The entire experience was unprofessional and demeaning. If I could give zero stars, I would.
I very frequently have to wait a minimum of half an hour for help unless it is from the manager. Anyone else seems too busy or too apathetic, as planning their weekend while customers are standing there trying to politely not interrupt. Most of the time their answers are wrong.
Every single price listed in this photo, from the top row, is wrong (didnt church the next row but Im guessing those were wearing as well). I brought this up to an employee and they didnt want to do anything about it. Talked to service, ditto. Everything was 20% to 40% more than what was posted. This is my last trip to Home Depot. Ill stick with Ace Hardware or Lowes from now on. That $5 extra I paid will cost Home Depot a significant amount each year.
Did not have want I wanted. Would not order. Told me to go to another store to see if they had it. I am not going from one to another. Refused to check on it for me. Said they didnt transfer things from one store to another. One employee said they had 3 in stock. Another employee told it was out of stock. I dont think they know what they have!!
I ordered some blinds for 2 windows. Told they would be delivered in about a week. After 10 days I tried to contact the person I ordered them through. Their phone answering system is not a good customer service tool. Could not get through to a live person. It just rang and rang. A couple of days later we were in the store and decided to ask in person. They looked it up and told me it had been delivered 3-4 day ago. No it had not. they looked at the order and it had an address from multiple years ago even though I had given them the current address TWICE! They said they would call back tomorrow to get it resolved. No one called! Tried to contact by phone again. Same results as last time! Had to make another 25 minute trip there to get service. Cancelled the order and asked to speak to the Store Manager. She was busy. Was able to speak to an asst Mgr on the way out of the store. Said they were having trouble with the phones. I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE THEY WILL BE FIXED. THEY DONT SEEM TO CARE !!!
I need a home Depot closer to Saratoga Springs!!! I go here all the time. Great products available. Honestly, its pretty hard to find what Im looking for a lot of the time. But, luckily, the employees are great at helping out and answering a lot of questions about products and projects.

Dont purchase anything online.My delivery date is tomorrow but I havent got a phone call, text, email, nothing today. I called Home Depot 4 times today to just find out their estimate delivery time tomorrow. After my last phone conversation, I just found out if I dont get a phone call by 8pm tonight, I should just assume that they are not delivering tomorrow. At least they should give me a call or text to let me know they are not going to make it. They think people dont have life other than waiting for their delivery. It is super frustrating and very unprofessional. This is not acceptable. I had a couple of deliveries from RC Willy and they were great with giving heads up and coming at the time they promised. Thumb down for Home Depot.
This location seems to acknowledge the London stores non-existent electrical section by putting it front and center and is much more complete but still lacking and understocked. Given the supply issues everyone is facing Ill give a pass for now, I hope it gets better! Super friendly staff, BTW!
Rented a carpet cleaner and the results were massively better than the people that were supposed to clean my house in the first place.

In my experience, the employees are not knowledgeable or helpful, and the store seems hard to navigate unless you go frequently. Steve in plumbing is the cutest old man you’ll ever meet, so that alone prevents this Home Depot from being a 1 star. Still, I’d rather go to Lowe’s across the street. Lowe’s has better pricing and employees
The employees here had their ears and eyes on the watch today and even though they were busy, stopped to check in case they could offer a quick answer.The store was stocked and ready for gardening and projects alike so make sure you go with a list.Masks are work by employees who havent been vaccinated, as customers are also asked to do. Its obviously honor system.
So upset! Bought a dryer. They didn’t finish installing it and it has never worked! It’s been over a month since the install. They have sent out their repair guys, then they sent us to Samsung and sent a repair man from there. They told us we needed to have an electrician come. So we did and they said everything electrical wise is fine! So we circled BACK to Home Depot and now we are having a hard time getting another repair person here!!! Our laundry is totally stacked up. With the price we paid for this washer and dryer set, you’d think their would be better customer service!! To this day we STILL don’t have a working dryer! Don’t order from Home Depot unless you wanna waste tons of hours running around in circles trying to get someone to help you with something that should’ve been dealt with a month ago!!!!
Okay, so here is a funny story. My dad and I went here looking to buy a Peace Lily for my bedroom (its known for its air cleaning properties). We went over to the the employee in charge of the house plants section. She was an kind, older lady who was just watering her plants. We told her that we were looking for Peace Lillies. The moment we stopped talking, she dropped the hose she was using and raced over to where the Peace Lillies were. She told us all sorts of cool stuff about them. She was such a great employee. Overall, our experience of buying that plant were great!

I’m a little disappointed by their new return “policy”. I can’t return a tool I was gifted without the receipt or the exact card that paid for it. No in-store credit, no exchange, nothing. Think twice before buying a gift for someone here.
Order pickup experience: more than one star because they have it. Only two stars because it was more hassle than picking it up yourself. There were two reasons for this: the online tool that says which aisle and bin the product is in… is just wrong. Things aren’t where they’re supposed to be. Which caused the Home Depot rep to go searching. Second, when they did find where it was supposed to be, the item itself was mislabeled. So when I came to pickup, I got the wrong item and then it led the team on a 20min journey to find the item which was actually out of stock. With the labeling issues HD seems to have I don’t think you should rely on order pickup.
American Fork has been my new Home Depot. They are nice and knowledgeable at what they do. They will help you or get additional help for you. This is not ordinarily a place like others where you see no staff around for help. If you have an idea of what you want to do, they will have options for you which are great ideas you may never know of. Contractor friends have asked me: ( How did you do that ?) I then say that Home Depot told me but i’m not telling you. They will tell you at American Fork Home Depot !I attached the lighting that people could not figure out how I did it with a two inch hole in the sheetrock and NO Attic.
Store is clean and organized. Staff are helpful. The only negative is it seems like the self check out are always mostly closed.
Went for two items. Waited thirty minutes for someone to make a spare key. Totally understaffed and those who are there are undertrained. After 2 hours trying to locate stuff that should haven taken 15 minutes max, and dealing with a cashier who had no idea how to ring up a sale I was just at the end of coping. Then this young guy named Ammon, a supervisor, who actually knows the store and cares about customers, located what I needed in the back storage area in an obscure place, with quick sleuthing. Dont like the store, but loved the professional demeanor and ability of Ammon to solve my problem and get me what I came for. Hope they make Ammon store manager. I might go back.

Home Depot has too many hands on a plate for special orders and installations. My door was installed in April, wrong color of hinges, installer did a poor job, missing screws and a few other issues. Now we are in July and they still dont have the act together for the actual right hinges. Installer has an attitude and they dont show up at the time he is supposed to come. I call him to see what time he is coming and he says he is not sure and asks me if I have the right hinges. It is a joke. I never write reviews, but this is a warning for other people. Stay away from Home Depot.

Disappointed. Home Depot changed their policy a week ago. I would have been happy with store credit. No receipt but perfectly ok wrong size product that just needs to be exchanged ( they can restock the item as they can prove they sell it)... No longer possible without a receipt or. the card you used. if you had your info stolen and no longer have the card that you used to make the purchase. You get nadda.
I needed a 2X6, roofing materials, nails and screws. I had a store associate show me what I needed and made helpful recommendations. I also saw a bilingual associate kindly help another customer complete a purchase and fill a shopping list in the customers native language.
Great inventory, but awful customer service. Went in at 7am to buy a new trimmer and not a single employee proactively asked if I had questions or offered suggestions. Ended up getting the info I needed online.IFA or ACE are the better options in Northern UT County.
We wanted to buy The 12 ft Skeleton, we were told they would be available 8/30/21. I asked it we could preorder one and I was told “no”. We went in to buy one on Monday and we were then told no Halloween Decorations were on sale yet and could not be accessed but when we asked about the skeleton and when it would be available, we were told they had all been sold that morning. We straight up caught their employee in a lie. How can you sell a Halloween decoration that you just said you aren’t allowed to sell yet? Seems like maybe some shady antics and unethical practices are going on. I’m sure the 12 skeleton is being resold at a major profit by friends or family of the employees. I don’t know if this Home Depot will be getting our business again. I don’t like wild goose chases and being lied to.
Harder to find an available associate than it used to be, but once you do find one they are still the most helpful of any home improvement store out there. I remain firmly in the Home Depot camp!

They contracted the job out to some inexperienced laborers who admitted that they never installed windows before. Our siding was beaten up in the end. One of the windows has light peeling through the frame... We need to call someone out to reinstall it. Dont use them for home window installation!

The guy with the man bun who helped us with getting locks all keyed the same was awesome, very helpfull and chill. The two kids at the lumber entrance lacked any bit of knowledge of product availability or location. The boy who cuts lumber seemed as though he really did not want to be there and had zero sense of humor for simple jokes, other customers cued in but he seemed to get very irritated. The girl at the lumber check out with purple hair doesnt understand the cost for cutting lumber, or at least that one or two cuts are free but any more than that are $.50 each- she wanted to charge $1 for one cut. The woman in the electrical isle seemed irritated we were looking for an extension cord as she was restocking shelves, and the hardware Isle was not very well stocked.So far two good employees, man bun and norse tattoo, but everyone else made me miss the Ft. Union and 2100s 300w stores.
Home Depot is our go to for home projects. The last three visits Ive made have been hybrid visits that included a curbside pickup and additional in-store shopping. Ive been really impressed with the curbside service, although their curbside pickup notification technology through their app doesnt seem to work for me. A browser works just fine though. The checkout process has improved this past year with so many self-checkout stations now available.

Employees were eager to help and when we turned down assistance they hurried to the next customer. It was almost like the employees were in a friendly competition with each other to see who could help the most people. Haha loved it!

Picked up a load of sheetrock for my daughter. 3 young men loaded it into my 7 foot bed truck. They Didnt make any suggestions on securing it. I should have known better. A few blocks away I slowly left a stop sign and load also slipped out on to the street. It would have been nice if they had suggested I come in and buy tie downs or even offered me some of their twine to secure the load. I should known better. But since they do this ever day I would think would av know better.

We have done the pickup from the locker. It was so easy. Just scanned the email QR Code and open the locker. Super easy.They have a good selection on paint but I needed a Poly Acrylic clear stain. I went to the paint section and asked if this would work on the breakfast nook we built. They actually referred me to Lowe’s because they had a better product. I was impressed because they didn’t care about selling me something. They wanted me to have the best product.I will always start my home improvement projects here!
Couldnt get the curbside pickup to work through the confirmation email or the text. Had to go inside, but we did get our stuff and it was faster than shopping in store.
I have a compromised immune system so before my trip to Home Depot I utilized their website to make a shopping list. It was really great that it tells you exactly where each item is located in your selected store. Unfortunately, I left my phone at home so I had to ask an employee where everything was.I needed 5 things so I spoke with 5 employees and only one of them actually knew what I was talking about. They each had to pull out their phones and look it up on the website. If only one of them needed to I would just chalk it up to them having a bad day or maybe being a new employee but one out of five really speaks loudly to a lack of training. At the Lehi, Utah store, management really needs to work better on getting their employees familiar with the layout of the store.I was also having to drive one of their electric carts and my items didnt all fit in the basket and not one employee offered to help me as I fumbled bumping into things trying to hold on to items. It would have been nice if someone had noticed and offered to take the items to the front of the store and hold them for me as I finished shopping.
I have been sitting here for over an hour trying to do an exchange. I went to rest to make sure it was no problem before I unloaded 200 pieces they said unload no problem. Now no one knows why it wont work they just sitting on the phone on hold. This is under professional. Lehi Home Depot

Im in the phase of my life where I walk around Home Depot alone for a while just to look at tools and stuff to pass the time. Not a complaint at all, its just a great place to walk around!
The key to working at home Depot particularly the loading area is to actively try to take the most difficult path of resistance when loading any product. Nor actually counting the amount of any product that you are loading on to a truck. All jokes aside they are really trying hard but they could use some help counting past 20 😂

Finding something at your neighborhood home Depot is quite the challenge. Now go to a different home Depot where the floor plan is entirely different. Ugh. If I didnt love the smell of cedar if give it a 1 Star. Difficult to find product and difficult to find help.

By far the worst customer service ever..we were planning to purchase layered shades after they finished the measurements but the lady would not honor the discount price because of their delays (not to mention the exact sale was going on from the following day). In contrast, Lowes honored the discount even after the sale ended because we placed an order for measurements.We had to go to Home Depot 4 times to get this far and it was an absolute waste of time.
Bob was a fantastic help in the kitchen consultation service. He was so patient with us changing our minds on what we wanted, and we took longer than planned, making him stay 30-60 minutes over his shift. He was an excellent person to work with!

Home Depot is great. They often have the tools/supplies in stock, and the staff are helpful for the most part. It’s roulette time if you need someone to use a forklift or machine to cut something for you. It may take no time at all or an hour. Just depends on if the person you talk to is trained on it.
Today was the worst day to go to The Home Depot because of the crowd, but it was actually very easy to find what I needed and use the self checkout. Im also very happy with the selection of trees, shrubs, and mulch. I went to another sure first and they were much more expensive for the same items. Im glad I left!

The people who work there are almost always friendly and helpful. When they are busy its hard finding some one thats available so I try to go during the week and avoid Saturdays.

Associates are relatively knowledgeable and quite helpful. I appreciate that after registering my dd-214 online, I’m able to use self checkout and receive a 10% veteran discount every time. Lowes also gives a veterans discount but you can’t use self checkout if you want to receive it.

This review is for the door and window department. We had a large indoor door project that we used this store for. The store employees were not at all helpful. The individual who ran the department was extremely difficult to get ahold of, and when we were able to get ahold of her, she was extremely short and would not provide us with any information. When we ordered back in November, there was no expectation given to us that the manufacturing and shipping was delayed. All paperwork stated that the process would take 28 days or less, and when we brought that up to the store employee, she became extremely condescending toward us about how we should have known about the delays. There were never any attempts made to try and make us happy as customers, or even apologies about the delays or lack of any adequate explanation of what we should expect. I will never use this store again for big projects like this, and will dissuade all I know in the same direction. I was not happy with the experience. The only reason I am giving them two stars, is because the installer was extremely prompt and helpful. I’m sure he makes great money being a contractor with Home Depot, but I feel bad he has to work with this store.

Tonight at this Home Depot, the girl at the paint counter was incredibly rude. She yelled at one couple 3 times and they werent even able to get help from her. I reported this to management and it was handled immediately and professionally. The gentleman at the paint counter here has some of the best customer service Ive seen.
I have had four very poor experiences here recently with the customer service.1) I came for a pick up order. I order a workbench. I came to pick up the order and the check in went smoothly. When it came time to get the workbench in the car, they said theyd get someone to help load the workbench into my car. It was slightly larger and heavier than I could manage to get in my car by myself so I really needed help to load. I literally sat for20 minutes just waiting for them to track down some to help me load the workbench. When I asked one of the workers that walked by if he could help he responded that his arm hurt and he couldnt and kept walking. It just seems outrageous to have to wait 20 minutes to perform a task that literally would have taken 30 seconds. I was frustrated, but thought it was just a gimmick night for their customer service. The product has been great, and the original check in was good, but the follow up service was very much lacking.2) I came to rent a rotary tiller. I came into the rental area, and no one was there. There was loud sound dinging that I had walked into the rental area so I was assuming someone would be with me shortly. Turned out I waiting for like 10 minutes without anyone coming to help me. I rang the bell a couple more times. I ended up having to go to normal part of the store to ask someone for help. And they were confused why no one was there, so they called over and told me I could head back and someone should be there to help me. I went back... no one showed up for 5 minutes. Until finally some teenage kid finally comes out of the back office where it appears he had been the whole time just chilling back there. Very frustrating how unresponsive they were. He helped me get my rotary tiller rented, but left it to me to load it in the car. Kind of reinforces the negative experience I had previously.3) My wife came to the return the rototiller because she was out running some other errands. She came to home depot unaware of where to return the tiller. The rotary tiller was a littler heavy for her, so it was a bit of a struggling getting it out of the car and loaded. She parked near the front and there were two employees walking by.. and she asked for some help with of where to go and some help getting the rotary tiller out of the car into the store. The employee responded with a sarcastic, I dont know, maybe return it inside... Then walked off. With my wife unaware of where to go she struggled through unloading the rotary tiller, and aimlessly struggled through the store looking for where to return the tool. she unfortunately went through the wrong door and had to walk quite a bit hauling the heavy rotary tiller to the rental area. When she gets her the older gentlemen working there asks why she didnt come through the small door right there. My wife responded that she had asked for help, but one of the workers blew her off. To put the cherry on top of this miserable customer service experience, when my wife came in to the store the same employee walked by again noticed her struggling moving the rotary tiller and still didnt help.
Employees were very knowledgeable and willing to help me find everything I needed for my remodel!

Covid somehow killed this Home Depot. Sell your HD stock as fast as you can if you own any. Just not the same. No help and no one seems to care anymore. I’ve spent over $20K there in the past and use their card. Ordered a washer/dryer over 3 months ago. Still not delivered.
Home Depot has been my favorite store for years.They prove time and time again that they will go above and beyond for their customers to make sure they are taken care of and I will forever use Home Depot! I have never had the chance to interact with Pam the store manager but luckily I guess I never have had a bad or even average experience there. Always the best customer service. The only issue I have ever had is with whoever they use for shipping sucks terribly for their furniture. I appreciate always being taken great care of here!
