When you open the box, the insert says”…..it is probably the most delicious box of chocolates.” This statement is the TRUTH! It is… well was the most delicious chocolate I’ve eaten. EVER. I’ve had chocolates in many different places such as NYC, Poland, France, Germany and Fleurir is an incredible treat.I found this spot by chance as I was in the area for another yummy spot. I’m so glad I stopped in. I live in Chevy Chase and will gladly make the trip again.To the owner, thank you for sharing your gift in the form of making amazing chocolates!

Fleurir has the most delicious chocolate I’ve ever had. Not only is the presentation simple and modern, the product is out of this world and the staff is always so kind.The truffles are my favorite; each flavor is unique and I always come back for more. I’ve gifted the truffles to many friends and family over the years and everyone is equally blown away. My family recently moved away for work and upon a visit home, this was one of my first stops. I have to say if you are having a chocolate craving this is a good place to go. What I liked about Fleurir was the quality of the chocolates. It appears that they create these gems right on site.The truffles come in a variety of flavors. I particularly enjoyed the salted caramel. It was not too sugary and the caramel had the perfect consistency. Another chocolate truffle paired well with the brown butter inside to create a delight ... for immediate consumption of course. I appreciated that they sold each truffle separately.

This shop is a treasure! They make to most amazing chocolates here, and I feel lucky to try them all. Robert is a chocolate genius! It is always a joy to visit the shop, everyone is warm and friendly! They also have filled business gift orders for me, and the experience has always been easy and efficient. First: I circled the area three times like a chocolate vulture but couldnt find it. Robert, kindly put up the sign.Second: I eat a lot of chocolate. A lot. Of all kinds. Although Ive only had the 85% dark chocolate square (1 of 9 I got), I can say that it is smoooooth. It tastes exactly like I hoped it would.Third: The woman working did a great job with the wrapping of the box. I was even able to pick my own color. Nice attention to detail.Finally, please put up the sign. I cant imagine how many people have given up trying to find it and either gone elsewhere or worse - CHOCOLATELESS!Edit- These chocolates are delicious. I came back just to say that. Delicious. I cant stay out of the boxes. Salted caramel always delivers. On a side note, the salted citrus wine bar is AMAZING. The truffle and strawberry wine bar is great too. So is the Lemon Honey square. Usually I never go for these fruity flavor profiles but Im glad I did.

Chocolate is great the process here falls apart. I ordered 2 days prior and still waited for 30 minutes with 5 other people. I know Valentines Day is busy here but really? This is chocolate that is boxed up. Its already bought and paid for. Should just be give them your order number they hand you the bag.

This was my first time here. This bakery reminded me of the bakeries back in Okinawa. The bakery is super clean inside, the staff are very friendly and organized.

First and foremost their chocolates are amazing, the lemon honey truffle was possibly the best chocolate I have ever eaten! I also want to praise them for getting their orders out during the apocalypse. I ordered chocolate for Mothers day and they made if the Friday before, today if you are paying attention to the date of this review. I was happy to give her the gift early to stuff her stress filled face with these awesome chocolates. I will be buying again!

Hands down the best chocolates I’ve ever tasted. And I have sampled chocolates from Europe and Ukraine to the Pacific NW. So fresh and flavorful and no preservatives. Absolutely phenomenal! And the staff are always willing to share a sample, and clearly love what they do. The caramel is divine and I don’t usually like caramel!

As soon as you walk into Fleurir, the gourmet chocolate smell hits you in the face. Its amazing. Their chocloates are all so beautifully decorated and the staff was super nice. Will definitely go back!

Seattle, LA, Durango, Santa Fe - I love trying local chocolates whenever I travel but nothing comes close to Fleurir! Incredibly fresh and beautifully created chocolates make the perfect gift or the perfect treat for yourself. The staff is incredibly friendly and is always sampling something tasty. My favorite is Spumoni, but my family prefers the Caramels and has made consuming a 50 piece box during Christmas a new family tradition!

Fleurir chocolates are thoughtfully sourced, beautiful, made with care and have delicious flavor combinations. My husband and I order a variety of treats for our families, colleagues and customers every holiday, and they are always a hit. We also offered custom two piece boxes as favors at our wedding many years ago, and our guests STILL ask about them. We love supporting this family-run business...they truly know their chocolate!

I LOVE Fleurir. I used to go to Leonidas in G-town until they closed. Now I go to Fleurir. They make the best chocolate in town and its made fresh on premises. When I saw other chocolatiers were rated higher, I had to write a review because the others arent better, period. Off to Fleurir tomorrow to by Valentines chocolates for my wife and daughter. GO! You get what you pay for, and what you get at Fleurir is virtuosic!

The best chocolates I have ever tasted. Freshness (chocolates made there). Simply handmade beauties that you may want to just stare at them for a while before eating them... You can see the factory at work ( is a completely open view layout). Cleanliness is perceived from the moment you enter, and tasting were available; which will make it very difficult to walk out empty handed... Quality plus!

I m sure the chocolates would have been great...BUT!!! the shipping was handled VERY poorly and a much awaited birthday gift didnt arrive on time!! BIG disappointment and poor handling.. Wont risk it again for gift giving!

Caramel and 85% chocolate truffles oh my oh my oh my. Insanely amazing and indulgent chocolate. Loved the Ganache in the 85% dark and the caramel one was so delicious.Amazingly sweet staff and great quality chocolate.Love the growth of Artisan chocolatiers in the area.Truffles are $2.25 a piece

Divine unique chocolates!

I wish I had found their place sooner and would go out of my way to go back. Their staff is phenomenal and offers tons of samples and will talk to you about the chocolates (if youre into this) to help you make the right choice in what you buy- but Im guessing you couldnt go wrong blindly walking in and pointing. All of the chocolates are pretty to look at and the assortment of flavors I tried were delicious. One in particular stood out- the dulce de leche. Usually Im not even a fan of dulce de leche, but these are to die for- probably my favorite truffle Ive had in the D.C. Area. And beyond that particular truffle, this is definitely in the top 2 of my favorite chocolatiers in the D.C./nova area.
