Everyone here is very nice. I have always had a good experience here. Employees are nice and helpful. Only draw back is the drive through lane. It is very short.
Most of the time I get good service. There’s one tall lady with a broken tooth and short hair who is very rude and hateful to customers. She’s very loud and has no class whatsoever
Drove 20 min to get a prescription that the the pharmacist said would be ready in 30 min. Get there an say they have to talk to the doctor in morning. Why didnt the pharmacist say that in the first place instead of having to drive there for nothing!
I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I picked up my prescriptions here for almost a year. Customer service is nonexistent. I used GoodRX to pick up my prescriptions for 6 months because I am an independent contractor without insurance. Suddenly one day, they stopped accepting GoodRX. I was willing to pay the difference (even though it was annoying) but they cancelled my prescription because they assumed I couldn’t pay for it. I asked them to fill it again and they said it would be ready in 3 days when the truck came. I went back, they didn’t have it. They told me it would be on the next truck, i went back and they didn’t have it. At that point they said they didn’t even have a refill request. They re-entered it (supposedly) and told me it would be there the next week. This continued on for 5 weeks. That was the nail in the coffin for me after months of dealing with them. They messed up so many prescriptions for me, including ones for mental health which is dangerous. I finally gave up on them and moved to Kroger. Since moving to Kroger, I’ve had zero issues with my prescriptions. Unfortunately, my wife still picks up her prescriptions there. Today she is sick so I went to drop it off for her. I sat in the second line waiting on the tube for 15 minutes. Just to drop off a prescription order, that’s it. All I needed was the tube. The pharmacist ignored me the entire time I sat there and didn’t send the tube for 15 minutes. This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. If you read this, take it as a cautionary tale and just go somewhere else. Even CVS is better.
Absolutely the most ridiculous concept of customer service. oh, you get a monthly prescription for a controlled substance, well that must make you a dirt bag. I cant even begin to count the number of Walgreens pharmacies I have gone through because of the way I am treated for taking a medication that helps me with drug addiction. Its absolutely despicable and if I could afford better insurance that didnt require me to go to your self righteous, judgemental, holier than thou - employee driven pharmacy, I would go somewhere else. When my doctor and my insurance approve a medication to be filled on a certain date - there should not be a pharmacist who is able to refuse to fill it because its his own personal beliefs. Its ridiculous
I spent more time sitting in the drive thru pick up to get an antibiotic than I did at the urgent care receiving care and the prescription to get the antibiotic. Would not recommend
Couldnt find the Vitamin I needed and the Pharmacist told me that it was by prescription only, so I went back to my Doctor and got the needed prescription. The Pharmacist was very helpful.
WORST PHARMACY EXPERIENCE EVER. Everyone back there should be fired. Disgusting.
Fast service in the pharmacy, polite and great service and a very clean store.
They are always “understaffed”. Go somewhere else. Your time is expendable. Be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait.
Great place to shop
The people that work here are just rude especially in the pharmacy department so today will be my last pickup at this pharmacy if I could give a minus zero I would
Always very very helpful. Giving all discounts without even asking. Love the staff!!
Since transferring my prescriptions to this store, the service has been outstanding. The staff is always very professional and kind to me. They were all genuinely concerned about me when I was in the hospital for cancer surgery. I will not go anywhere else
Jenny is the best tech I have seen. This location has THE best staff I have ever worked with and all my prescription since I was a child have gone through Walgreens. Jenny thank you for making it easy on me and my family to get what we need and giving us all the info we could ask for. Keep up the amazing work..... and to her boss she needs a raise!!!
If certain pharmacy items are not available in drive-thru and everyone must use drove-thru, you should probably list that on your sign.. wasted my entire lunch waiting in line for nothing.
Don’t call them expecting to find anything out. You can call and learn the store hours then it goes silent never get anything else.
Dropped off my prescription here to get filled, told me they couldn’t get it filled for a few days which was not okay because for one, I was due already (confirmed and authorized by my doctor) and I was leaving 2 nights later at 3am to go out of town and they still wouldn’t fill it. Also from the get go, the pharmacy tech I dealt with was rolling her eyes and being really rude to the man in front of me inside the store so I already knew she was going to be rude to me. Being in the medical field myself as a nurse, you just shouldn’t communicate in the way she did. Verbally and non verbally. Do not recommend this Walgreens for your pharmacy needs.. the store itself is great and I never have a bad experience there as it’s within a mile from my home and I’m there often. They treated me as if I’m stupid and a criminal and they need a whole new pharmacy staff.
I love this pharmacy! I have been going there for many years. I have a deep appreciation for the jobs that these pharmacists, and their supporting staff do a 24/7 basis, which is a true blessing to have in our community, because you never know what time of day, or night, it might be when you are visiting, leaving, or needing an Rx filled following a procedure or diagnosis. Thank you all for your incredible service over the years. I have found that when you are kind and patient with the staff and the pharmacists, they are equally kind and patient in return. They care about their patients. They work hard, and they have made an incredible difference in the lives of my family members. They are very intelligent and knowledgeable, and I am happy they are here! It would be awesome if their location had the chance to expand. The pharmacy department especially deserves some expansions and upgrades regarding the building both inside and outside. The population that they serve had grown a lot in the past 10 years, and also, in response to some other peoples posts, I have found over the years that any time you possibly can, try to get a written, paper form, Rx when you leave a doctors office, or facility, that you can hand deliver to the pharmacy of your choice. There seems to be a common problem, no matter what doctor or facility that you go to, with faxing and emailing Rxs from place to place. This, in my experience, is not the fault of the pharmacies, but more of a technical issue. God bless!
The store is fine. The pharmacy took over an hour for a common script including the time I spent in line in the drop off line only to be told I needed to go to the pic up line. What? If folks are standing in line 3 deep in the drop off line, wait on them instead of sending them to another line.
For several years now I have trusted the Alcoa, Hall Road, Walgreens with all of my Rx refills, and fills, for my family. The Pharmacists there have always been very caring, patient, and helpful with me, and have really made me happy with the way they answer my questions. I admire them for their work ethic. I have tried other pharmacies, and other locations, years past, but the service I receive at the Alcoa Walgreens always makes me happiest. Their supporting staff is excellent as well. You are appreciated! God bless you! :)
I get my prescription fill there not to much of a wait
I love this Walgreens. Ive never had a bad experience. I called to get a prescription refilled today, didnt have the number, but was done and off the phone in less than two minutes.
This pharmacy has been completely disrespectful to me and I feel completely degraded and belittled by the way they have responded to me in regards to my prescriptions. I had a very invasive abdominal surgery 5 days ago and I was following the instructions given to my surgeon from the very beginning, and also saw her yesterday for a follow up and was given verbal instructions as to how to take my medication. The fact that it doesn’t match what she wrote is not my fault, and seeing as I am the customer- I should be treated with respect and dignity regardless of what I’ve been prescribed. I get that there is an opiate epidemic- but that gives no right to treat a respectable member of society like garbage when they actually need medication for the remainder of their recovery from surgery. After this I will probably be switching pharmacies. Don’t appreciate being treated like a junkie when I have a justified prescription from INVASIVE SURGERY for which I had to stay in the hospital over 36 hours because of the severity of my pain. I hope you don’t treat every customer like this.
Not even 1 star I went last night for a prescription and the pharmacist told me they would have a new shipment in the morning at 9 so I went at 11 the next day and the lady was typing on the computer next to the window for 10 minutes before even saying a word to me. She then says that I have to go to a different Walgreens because they do not have what I need. I quoted the pharmacist and she said I was wrong and to go to a different Walgreens. Awful customer service a worker at another Walgreens said that they should’ve called to make sure I could get it and not make me waste my gas and I agree. Will not be returning to this one.
Bird feces all over the concrete coming into entrance because of nests in sign above front door. Dont believe I should have to walk though that nastiness.
The slowest clinic on the planet! The nurse practitioner could care less if we were waiting 1.5 hrs or not. We were the only ones in the waiting area! We finally left and went to another walk-in clinic. She apparently doesnt like her job and doesnt want to be there. But my daughter was very sick and she had to pay the price. Ive heard bad things about this location but went anyway. We wont be back! The store manager is ultimately responsible.
Great Walgreens. Ive never had a bad experience here and they have a redbox outside which is nice. They also have a clinic inside.
I have went to this location for years. They offer a good selection of merchandise besides pharmaceuticals. The employees are friendly and theres rarely a line up front. The pharmacy is OK, but is understaffed for the volume of customers.
Long wait at the cosmetic counter, no one came to offer assistance. I went to get help then someone asked for help on the overhead, nope not for me, I was then asked if I needed help, I said yes after her. After her opening sealed perfumes to let customer smell, I told I only needed to know if they or another Walgreens nearby carried what I was looking for. She said shed have to go to photo dept to look it up. About 10 mins later she makes her way back to photo department. She couldnt ring up said customer up there. So shes finally done with that customer and is trying to look up what Im looking for... Another customer walks up behind me..she asks are you picking up pictures? They say yes, she starts helping this other customer! Im not sure where customer service has went anymore, out the door I guess, like my money.
I think that most people only write reviews when something bad happens. I have only ever had two issues with them in all of the many years that I have used them. The overwhelming majority of the time, I have a great experience. I do think that they tend to move a little slower than they could/should, but its not terrible.
Always a long wait time and when prescription is finally ready they magically dont have any record of me or my son having any insurance. I never have this problem at other locations. This is the worst walgreens in our area by far.
The wait at the pharmacy is borderline unbearable. Their pharmacy is severely understaffed, and they are inconsistent with quoted wait times and their text messaging service to alert you when the prescription is ready.I am currently standing in a line that is 6 people deep, with three behind me as well. and they only have one person working the register and make no effort to call for help with the line of people. After waiting 30 minutes past the quoted time for it to be ready, Im told afyer being paged to pick up that one of my prescriptions couldnt be filled because they dont have enough stock. Ridiculous.
They have misplaced prescriptions more than once. They are rarely friendly and seem to find customer questions beneath them. Not sure why this one is so incredibly bad. I, personally, would rather drive across town than continue to spend my hard earned dollars in their store. Save your patience and your money and choose CVS or Blount Discount. Both are better options!
Unprofessional. They act like theyre doing you a favor by tolerating you. They screw up charges. Apparently cant read a prescription to give the correct amount of supplies. Call and tell you prescription is ready and when you show up the prescription is not ready. All the while displaying an attitude of resentment towards customers. Taking all of our business elsewhere. Finally broke the last straw.
Im going to be switching all of my prescriptions. They have made significant and dangerous errors repeatedly. The only reason I kept going was because of the Walgreens app on my phone, which made refills easier, but even that is not enough to make me keep coming here now.
Ive had almost no positive interactions with any of the pharm techs. Nearly all have been condescending or rude
Try to lie too much. Stuck up ladies. Some are sweet though.
Easy in and out.
Horrible!!! Pharmacy staff are rude and dont listen. I use syringes for my medicine and ran out so I went in to get more and was treated like a drug abuser. I had proof of my prescription and everything was in their system and it still took thirty minutes of arguing before I finally got my syringes. On another occasion I had to have my doctor call them to release my medicine because my scheduled doses didnt match with what the pharmacist believed and I was told I was lying to them. There was no apology for calling me a lier after they got the go ahead from the doctor. Very unfriendly and very unprofessional. I will definitely be giving my business to CVS or the Wal-Mart pharmacy!
The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because of a very nice, helpful gentleman named Greg who tried his best to make the situation right.I called this location and spoke with a pharmacy tech, Shatha (goes by Chanel), and asked if they could refill a non-controllled substance that I had previously called into another store in town yet could not pick it up before they closed. Shatha told me they could not transfer it- she did not ask for my name or information- she just said no. I asked if she was sure because I had done this before, and she said “I don’t know what to tell you. You can pick it up at 9 am at the other store”. If I go 24 hours without this medicine, I become suicidal. I need it.I called another store and guess what? They could fill it for me! So, Shatha was unwilling to help a long-time customer, didn’t want to do her job, has a less than ambition attitude, and quiet frankly could have put me in harms way with her apathetic and lackadaisical work ethic. If you use this store, talk to Greg- he will help you. But Shatha, aka Chanel, will not. Walgreens, you need to screen the folks who work for you a bit better.
My favorite Walgreens. Staff is great and always clean and well stocked.
Let me preface by saying that 75% of the store and staff are lovely. If I didnt need Rx filled, this would be a five star review. BUT: This pharmacy tries my patience.I regularly fill 3 scripts on a monthly basis.I regularly get phone confirmation and app notifications that ALL ORDERED SCRIPTS have been filled, only to arrive at the store for pick up (and if youre picking up anytime from 8am to 9pm, be prepared for a lengthy wait, as the pharmacy is severely understaffed) to find that one or more Rx has indeed NOT been filled, and I am supplied with no other explanation than please contact your prescriber.Upon contacting the prescriber, the pharmacy failed to reach out for necessary information to fill aforementioned Rx. So essentially, I am left to do the staffs job. No other area pharmacy hesitates to contact the prescriber if there is a problem. The pharmacy staff is indifferent at best and discourteous at worst. When there is a problem with getting Rx filled as they are ordered, the staff simply cant be bothered to offer any kind of gracious customer care. Most recently (today) I experienced a phone hold of 22 minutes as the 1 caller ahead of me was addressed (I know there was only one caller ahead of me, as the answering service broadcasts that information... just in case youd like to hang up).It is my opinion that the staff is overworked & understaffed for the volume of customers at this location. Ive worked in retail before, so I do have some empathy. But that is no excuse for doing your job poorly & executing your duties half heartedly. If you want to cut corners, pharmaceuticals may not be the best career path for you.Consequently, I believe this location falls victim to such high turnover with pharmacy employees that the staff is poorly trained & apathetic. To save my sanity & precious time, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.
This Walgreens cannot possibly screw up more than they already have. They seem to be incapable of calculating how much to dispense by using basic math. They cannot understand 10mL of insulin=1,000 units of insulin. They either short me or way over supply, which of course the insurance company rejects, of a literal life-saving medication. How hard is basic multiplication? They are rude, they screw up billing insurance, and they take forEVER to fill prescriptions, even ones submitted previous days. There has not been one single month in four months that they have not somehow screwed up at least one of my prescriptions. Ive had it. I am held hostage by this horrible company and my horrible insurance because I *cannot* go to any other pharmacy other than Walgreens! My only hope is that there will be some other Walgreens location that doesnt repeatedly try to KILL me and my unborn child!
Most staff, including the pharmacist, are rude and treat people like theyre stupid and like criminals. They have no idea how to apply insurance benefits and I must explain to them EVERY month how to use my primary and secondary insurance. Its unfortunate that they think everyone is out to get their medications early and now make you wait until you are completely out of medication before filing it. I mean whats 1 day earlier?!?
I was very disappointed with how my daughters visit went. I told them she had a chronic cough (lasting over 2 weeks..no luck with OTC meds) that shes had in the past and has always needed stronger medicine for. The LPN tells me that, if it were her, she wouldnt give her antibiotics. She rambled off these ingredients without giving me advice on what that meant. I had to google it to find out it was Mucinex. Needless to say, its been an additional 2 weeks and my daughters cough hasnt improved. I feel the LPN was focused more on her personal opinion as opposed to her professional one. If I tell you weve tried OTC medicine, that it doesnt work, and that shes had this before, the LPN would have been more aggressive. I dont recommend this clinic.
It was awful. The ladie taking the passport pictures was very rude. She accused my friend of taking the pictures for ilegal purposes and refused to take it until he would tell him his porpuse. Then she asked another of my friends to ensure that he wasnt lying
The Walgreens Pharmacy Pharmacists are Phenomenal - My Experience - The pharmacists here have given advice to myself, my daughter, and my husband over the years, and today specifically, that has been integral in the treatment and in the health of our bodies. They are incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, patient, and polite. For example, today my daughter was vomiting from taking an antibiotic called Augmentin. I was told by a Nurse Practitioner that my daughter should take Augmentin, and that it was the same as Amoxicillin. However, that was WRONG. I did not understand why my daughter was experiencing painful vomiting when taking the Augmentin, but had never had problems in the past with plain Amoxicillin. After doing some research, I called the Pharmacist on staff today. He explained that Amoxicillin was in her record, and has always worked excellent in the past for her. However, Augmentin is NOT the same as Amoxicillin: it is something different called Amoxicillin Clavulanate. The Clavulanate component is making her have terrible abdominal pains and violent vomiting. He (the pharmacist) added Augmentin to her antibiotic allergy list in her record there. And he informed me that plain Amoxicillin is very suitable to treating a sinus infection, which is what she has (severe persistent sinus infection which was not responding to over the counter and natural remedies). Today she has an appointment to get her antibiotic changed to plain Amoxicillin, and my husband and I now know that while Augmentin causes her a problem due to the Clavulanate component, that the Amoxicillin works absolutely beautifully, and without any negative side effects. Thank you for your excellence and dedication to your patients. You are appreciated!
This place is unbelievably ignorant to time.. the automated system called to tell me I needed to update my insurance information.. I called the number they requested I call.. I spent 28 mins on hold waiting for them to answer.. I drove to the location and they answered before they waited on me.. they gave me.. prescription not ready give us 20 mins.. so I waited 30 mins. Returned to the counter and was given the generic prescription is not ready, give us 20 mins. This particular Walgreens should have a change in staff or doors closed.. I will have any refills transferred to Sams club or Walmart..
Pharmacy is kinda slow. I am usually met with a friendly staff and get what I need, but it takes a while.
It is the clean store
I will never be back after Brandon in pharmacy acted unprofessional and was cussing while on the floor, I’d fire him and hire somebody worth a damn
Made an appointment for the clinic online. According to their system, I arrived 3 minutes late and was then told I would have to wait 3.5 hours until the next appointment even though there was no one in the waiting area. Ended up going to Parkmed down the road and was seen in less than 15 minutes. It was also less money.
There slow as snails always swamped so they make a lot of bo boses ..no delivery
Quick service at 0300.
The sales are always marked wrong and wont ring up at the register. I will be using CVS from now on. Very unprofessional staff.
Went to fill rx and was told 20 minutes, an hour later was told they didnt have it after driving back to pick it up. Didnt bother to call and tell me. Had to have it for the following morning due to tests to be done and had to drive to another location 15 minutes away to get it filled. Terrible customer service!
Great service 💜💙
The only Walgreens around that got their self together.
People are great.
Great pharmacy stafg
My favorite East Tennessee Walgreens store.
Some of the staff at this Walgreens is very unprofessional and apathetic. CVS is legit.
Customer service? The management team here has no clue what that is.
Love the store
The worst service EVER!!!!!!They all need to be fired and Replaced!!!!!! thay are slow and dont CARE!!!!!!!
Poor customer service
