What more can I say than that they had the resistors I needed and were helpful in locating them for me. Only my first experience, but it was a positive one. Ill be back for my other passive component needs.
I went to buy a label maker with heat shrink They had a sale for $98 that included label and heat shrink tubing. The owner would not honor his sale item, he wanted to charge me $31 for the heat shrink tubing in addition to the sale price of $98 for the label maker. When asked him if he would honor his sale he took the display down ripped it up threw it in the trash and said it is what it is. I asked him if thats how he does business as a hypocrite he said yes. A man was such low integrity will not get my money and I will make sure I tell everybody about my experience.
Staff was helpful and very accommodating to what I was looking for. They didn’t have exactly what I needed but provided options that would work just as well. Kudos to them for the help and service.
Its the new radio shack! Havent seen a place like this in years. Friendly staff and alot of little electronic fix it supplies.
Super helpful in helping find what i needed!
Always receive top notch service here.
Good service decent price for electronic parts
Great, knowledgeable service, and one of the only places for Arduino parts in ABQ. I send students there.
Way overpriced. Close whenever they feel like it. Ill just keep buying from Amazon - maybe put this one out of business.
Great place. Staff is very helpful and friendly (well the guy at least). Always goes above and beyond, even over the phone. Highly recommend!
Had the diodes I needed at a great price. Lady working the counter was friendly and professional. Great place.
Great service fast, knowable, friendly costumer service.
A bit pricey but its one of the only mom and pop games in town. Employees seem nice enough though.
It would be helpful if they were open the advertised hours. I get off at 4:30, raced over and got there at 4:50 and they were already closed. I came back the next day at 8:20 and they were still closed. Sign on door says open 8-5. I dont think so.
So happy we have a local place such as this, the staff are friendly and helpful and they always seem to have exactly what I am looking for and their prices on most items seem to beat Amazons... Buy local and keep small business alive.
Great if you can catch them open. Typically the same business hours as the rest of us (8-5), and prompt - if you manage to show up 1 or 2 minutes after 5 good luck. Not to mention, I just pulled up at 4:30 on Labor day weekend and the decided to close at noon today. Only place in ABQ to find many parts and it would be nice if hours were more convenient.
Donna is so nice and knowledgeable.
Always friendly and helpful with finding solutions to unusual problems or projects.
Had what I needed. Local and convenient.
Friendly and helpful staff and good selection of electronic component, tools, and equipment. The last (or one of the last) brick and mortar electronic component retailers left in Albuquerque.
Guy was very helpful even over the phone and nice enough to recommend some places that might have what I was looking for. I dont come into town much and Im glad its not too far from the freeway. Place wasnt hard to find either. Id definitely call first to be sure they have what Im looking for before coming in. Also very clean and well organized!
Almost every electronic part made available here - AND some oddball connectors and adapters too! All at very reasonable prices. Q!
This is a great local business, one of the only places you can go to find obscure electrical components in town. Need a specific Op Amp? Theyve probably got it. IC sockets? Got it. Hobby electronics projects enclosures? Yup. Fun project kits? Yep. Only open Monday through Friday, but its worth making the time to get down there.
Great selection of electronics parts and tools. I will definitely visit again when I need parts
Electronic parts is the place to go. Very friendly and professional
You can walk in and actually buy parts! Anthony is a great help. Highly recommended for anyone working on a repair, the student with a lab project, or the home hobbyist. Ill be back!
If youre looking for a good substitute for Radio Shack (RS) when it comes to transistors, resistors, boards, etc etc etc this is the place. When I say R.S. it is of the old RS that I am referring to and not the modern one which caused it to go out of busines.I hope you will be able to get an idea of the depth of inventory this store has. I plan to go back and shoot some video so you can get a better idea of what the store caries.
Only been here once but the staff was more than helpful, they had to team up to get my problems solved. But they got me taken care of and fixed all my issues and answered all my questions. Very curious and pleasant folks all the way around and quite the array of electronic parts and pieces. You can spend time just checking stuff out.
Knowledgeable staff, hard-to-find items. I try to shop here before I go online. Anthony is great and goes above and beyond to help. Been shopping here for years.
They have all your electronic connections. Staff is very knowledgeable.
Very helpful even though I didnt buy anything. Clerk looked on web to find possible solution at different store. Good selection of basic electronic parts.
Friendly and helpful! Much easier than a big box store excursion...
Better than Radio Shack! So friendly and no nonsense! Will definitely go back when needed! Thanks guys!
If you like do it yourself electronics this is the place to go in ABQ
Great customer service and very helpful personnel. If you cant find what you need there. theyll be able to direct you to where you can find. it.
Stocked up and had what i needed. (Thermal fuse) Happiness. And saved me $190 vs replacing an entire component on my autos variable speed blower circuit for my heating and ac on my dodge van
Cool place. Sadly the last and only in New Mexico. Good staff.
Great place to buy electronic parts for all your electronic projects.
A women that was helping me get supplies for my science fair project was very rude. I didn’t end up needing them so I took them back. She was very rude and had a big attitude toward customers.
Sadly last electronic store in nmGood service. Nice people. 😀
Lots of stock to choose from and helpful staff
Great store. The staff is very helpful. These guys (and girl) know their stuff. This place is like RadioShack on steroids. If you can think it they can help build it. LEDs, diodes, capacitors, resistors, tools, and much more.
Every cross reference Ive ever gotten from whoevers supplying them has been the wrong part
Always stop here when I need electrical supplies. They dont have everything you need but they will get it for you if you want to. Its one of the few electrical supply stores left so try here first.
Very highly recommended. They have a wide variety of electronics parts here that, these days, people only find online. The price is right, too. Before you look online and pay ten times the price of what you are buying in shipping cost, check here first.
Bankers hours, but its a local place I can buy electronics components, tools, and equipment I need to do repairs, hobbiest, and professional work. And have good heat-shrink tubing. Especially as an automotive technician.
For a resistor or a high quality tool, you will be right at home. Staff is very personable abd helpful.
I was harassed verbally and ushered out the building for questioning a products voltage, when asked to test, Sales Rep. Jim told me that there are NO warranties on the product and that we could not afford to purchase the tools that we wished to test with. I own a business and never have I been stereotyped over how much I can afford. Absolutely the worst customer service I have experience. Will only use Walker Electronics!
Great products Everytime
Has lots of good stuff and things that other stores dont. Nice little hidden gem on Menaul.
This place is really good on the emergent side of getting parts, plus the gent with the glasses is always really helpful...
Awesome small quaint got it get it participants in your projects. Think outside the box getters.
I have been going here for years and have always got the service I needed. The carry a large variety of parts I have needed. Customer service has always been great! I dont ask to borrow their tools, as a tech, tools are my requirement...
Ive visited this shop a few times over the last month to purchase supplies to go with a book called Make: Electronics, by Charles Platt. Electronics Parts Co has all the supplies specified in the book (which is just a starter), and the shop is laid out logically so that its easy to find what youre looking for.Honestly, I cant really imagine anything not being in this store. Sometimes they run out of certain parts, but its no biggie to find them in other places if you know where to look. For a guitar pedal circuit project, I did a price comparison between EPC and a US-based online supplier (in Brooklyn) who specializes in parts bundles for pedals. Electronics Parts Co. was directly comparable, and I think the quality of the parts might be better than what I would have received if Id gone with a kit. I like to see the product up close and check for quality before I buy.On many occasions, the staff has been helpful in finding what I need. I tend to arrive about 15 minutes before closing, and they have been polite about letting me finish my business before they close up. Id recommend giving yourself a good 30 minutes time to figure out where everything is and find what youre looking for if you have more than a dozen items youre looking for. Dont expect the staff to behave like the uniformed, corporate-trained associates youll meet in other places (who often dont really know much apart from how to help you look for stuff). The staff know the products and are very efficient. Theyll also help you with comparisons between other manufacturers part numbers—they sell a ton of NTE components with product numbers that cross over to more well-known numbers from other manufacturers.Im so glad someplace like this exists, so I dont have to order online if I need one thing. With Radio Shack out of business, its obvious how important it is to support your local merchants!
The customer service is poor. I had to find my own research. So if this is the case, why not just use Amazon?
A place to actually get real components, and its so close to home! Way better than Radio Shack ever was, and good prices!
A little more pricey than online, but a good shop with a great selection. Great for both the hobbyist and the professional!
Only place in town to find electronics supplies. They got some cool stuff. Staff is friendly.
Great to get electronic parts in the Albqurque area.
Decent inventory and not crowded at all. I was in & out in 5 mins.
I have always been treated great. They always bend over backwards to help me get what I need.
These guys didnt want my American money based on my age or clothes or whatever....., I went to Radio Shack and got what I wantedPeace
Makers UNITED!What many people dont understand is the miracle that happens each time they press open an app on their phone. Behind that button push is a world of makers... network teams... software teams... hardware teams... creating things that never existed before! Home automation... the relays and switches and servos....So where do the makers get made? At place like this... the Electronic Parts store. So grab your Raspberry Pi or Beagle Board and head on over... Today I spend roughly $150 dollars and here was my impression.Pros :The guy helping me wasnt a dumb ass. He wasnt a Geek Squad member that thought transformers were robots in disguise. He knew the police were not going to write a ticket for breaking Ohms law... Fellow nerds... he was a nerd.Good quality stuff. Dont get me wrong I have bought my share of mail order junk trying to push out a proto type but it is nice that I can find the good stuff when I need it...Cool kits for beginners! Dont go to Tindie and think everyone there started DIY. Most of us started with small pre-fab kits to learn how to solder... then took those same kits and started messing with them...Solid selection of enclosures. I admit it.... I am a mess. My project are usually a tangle of bread boards and jumpers. I seem to always have a hard time finding a good container to fit it all in to make it look good...Finally good soldering supplies...Cons :Ok... so they didnt stock the wildly specific and wildly rare cable I wanted for my project. (If they had I bet it would have been covered in dust).... However.... they did sell the parts I needed to build one!On a final note... for those wanting to feed their inner nerd.... come with an extra 20-50 bucks. I am almost sure you will find at least one impulse buy... I did and have a new table vice to hold my projects steady when I I am slinging lead
Good selection of electronics parts. Sales staff was very helpful answering questions.
Friendly staff & they usually always have what I need & if not theyll get it in for you!
They have everything you need, and are very organized. High quality stuff
Good selection and prices. Anthony and Donna are awesome
RadioShack screwed us so we need to take care of EP.
Staff is helpful and friendly well stocked store
With RadioShack out of business this is the best place to buy electronic parts
If I need parts for electronics, this is the place to go. Ive been shopping gear for 30 plus years. I cant recommend these guys highly enough.
I have rated this place already. Google is redundant.
Good inventory, friendly knowledgeable staff. I will be back.
This is my go-to place for components and tools needed for electronic repairs.
Lots of electronic parts nice helpful staff
Super good customer service very happy
Super handy for little diy electronics stuff that you dont want to wait for shipping on. Surprisingly big selection for such a small place.
Gr8 all day
The got the stuff
Electronic parts isnt as friendly and helpful as they were years ago. However, they still carry a number of components that you cant find elsewhere (or are tough to find at least).
I wish i could give this business less than one star. The staff is extremely rude. No help was offered to me nor were any of my questions answered. I would suggest using Walker for any of your electronic parts needs.
Very helpful and willing to help.
Horrible service the lady was very rude and offered no help whatsoever I wish I could give it less than one star
Great selection and availability, great service
Great staff, good inventory.
Great service!
VERY helpful people
Good service.
Very helpful, good
Closed at 1 in the afternoon

Fast service
Horrible service.
