Ordered a door through them. First the door took way longer than it should have. They failed to get the door order correctly. Even after the door was fixed they charged us more than the agreed price. I highly recommend not doing business here unless you want to struggle.
Be very careful when buying from them or working for them. I have worked on several projects with these people and not only did not pay me what I was supposed to make on the projects I did the lack of fine details on the making and ordering of their products was less than stellar.I did three projects and each one was a nightmare due to the lack of attention by Shannon White and her inability to focus and actually get the dimensions right on the doors and windows ordered. We had to cut the doors and jambs down to get them to fit in the framed rough openings in the field on two jobs. The doors were too large and the jambs were almost a half inch to large on a retro fit job. I was never compensated and the customer was really upset with the end result with the door lock hitting the Tastracal and it could not be used. They wanted us to distress the wood and cut into it do the door would lock instead of doing the right thing and remaking the door.On a large window order on an existing home 5 of the 19 windows were the wrong size and ordered wrong by Shannon and it took two months to fill the order. Just terrible customer service. A breakfast nook window took three times for Santa Fe Door to get right Needless to say the customer was absolutely livid over the experience. The custom door we had installed took 12 weeks to install because Shannon would never answer the customers calls or emails so they could give her a deposit. Then she blamed the customer for the delay. Absolutely horrible customer service.Another job for a local hotel door remodel Santa Fe Door tried to reinvent the wheel and made the doors larger than than what were taken out, change the hinges to larger hinges which then required us to mortice out the jambs out at the hinges which in turn made a mess out of the 100 year old wood. I had to take and sand down the doors so they would also fit in the jambs and repaint. What a mess. Again the lack of paying attention to the fine details was key which they did not.So please be careful if you are going to use them for a project.Everything I have written here is true and everything can be verified by the customers. As a reply to Mr. Whites review I was NOT paid as agreed and as a contractor I spent several hours working on the measurements for the door and window jobs and even brought down the blueprints to the office from Santa Fe and spent over an hour going over EVERY detail on the window sizes which she still failed to get correct. Then laying blame on the contractor. I have been in the construction business for 30+ years and know exactly what I am talking about. Its nice to see Santa Fe Door adding a couple of 5 star reviews to help their rating.Give me a holler and I will provide 3 contacts of actual customers that will confirm my review.
Yesterday my brother Stephen Sargent and I Went in to Santa fe doors. An Albuquerque owned business. We were intruded to Shannon. She was so kind to walk use thru here door manufacturing facility. Where we saw her team assembling custom doors. They were all so unique. My brother and I are factory certified installers for Andersen Windows and Doors. We work primarily on luxury homes. We met Shannon thru Heritage an Andersen owned company. We just started doing door repair and installation work for Shannon. We Are excited to work together. Shannon also has a company that make a water based stain that is going to change the stain industry. So amazing! Fully biodegradable!
Fantastic doors weather there personally for your home or business theyre high-quality and the prices cant be beat
Their doors are beautiful, and they can do so much custom doors and entry systems.besides its really neat in a world of corporate business, they are a family business and give you that home vibe.
As an owner, I feel I need to respond to Mr. Priebes review. #1. The window job was not done by Santa Fe Door but a sister company. The measurements were done by Mr. Priebe and the other installer. Shannon relied on their expertise to do the correct measuring and she did not verify the measurements. This was a retro fit project which always presents unknown issues once the installation occurs. The customer paid the installation direct to Mr. Priebe and the other installer. Additionally, the customer is happy with the products and the customer service received by Shannon. #2. The hotel project was also a retro fit project. While I am not clear on what happened with the lock on the stile, I know that everything has now been corrected by Santa Fe Door and not Mr. Priebe. Additionally, he was paid for his work upon presentation of his invoices or based on his quotes.
Premium quality and service.
