Just got 3 phone batteries replaced. They were great

Called them about repairing a cell phone. Just talking to them, they have no clue what they are doing.

Says theyre open per the store hours on the door and online.... but apparently theyre closed on sundays

If i could i wouldnt give any Stars, we took my sisters phone to replace her screen protector at this place strictly skinz + repairz, located at the cottonwood mall, she had a screen protector on her phone that she purchased since 10/2017, today is 8/11/2018 a girl with red hair and glasses and guy with long hair got the phone and initially stated it would be done in 5 minutes, (mind you to change a screen protector) the phone was in perfect condition, then as we were waiting they stated it would be done in 30 minutes because they were doing other stuff, we waited at the food court a little over 30 minutes, went back for her phone and they asked us to wait 10 more minutes, we decided to walk around and go back, at that point they had the phone over 1 hour and finally gave it back, when they handed us the phone it was cracked and chipped, and they tried to hide it, and first lied by stating he remembered it being cracked when we brought it to them a few weeks ago! We were never there a few weeks ago, so thats the first lie, they have ABSOLUTELY NO customer service, and are young and didnt seem to know how to handle when we confronted them about it and said we had to email their boss about it, they handed us a card and stated they couldnt release their bosses name per policy, i asked them to see the policy and they stated that per policy they didnt need to show me the policy and didnt want to show us the cameras that they supposedly said can see everything, i went to the website on their card and shows a place in San diego and here in New Mexico i called Californianas location and they stated that they do not have any other franchises and no other owners nor co owners out here, so something is shady about this place and they dont want to pay for damages nor release any names then tried to call Mall security on me to Try and kick me out, i explained everything to mall security and they completely understood and were upset themselves, they were able to get the Owner or Managers name that they stated is Steven, but we will probably make a police report about it and go from there, we got no where with this place and their false names and shadiness going on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND if something goes wrong you will get nowhere.

No one else could fix it

For $42.07 the replacement of the camera glass on my note 8 could have been extremely better. First the tech could have put some new adhesive on the glass so the lens did not fall out later when I left Albuquerque. Second the tech hazed up the back camera and now the quality of my pictures are hazy. The camera was working properly before I took it in to just have the back camera glass replaced but the tech reply that there was a scratch on the lens of the camera. I wish I would have shown the tech the picture quality before the replaced of the back camera lens. Poor work and repair for a back camera that can be bought online for $10 with adhesive. Now I have to find a new camera lens replacement. $42.07 was not worth the extra damage to the camera and shoddy replacement of a failed back camera glass

Summary: excellent service, customer service was 10/10I thought I had damaged my phone by getting it wet. It was just a drop in the charging port so it wouldnt charge. I have an old charger, its kind of iffy but usually if I hold it a certain way itll work. Well my phone wouldnt charge at all and it was near dead. I was prepared to pay big money to fix it. The guy behind the counter, I didnt catch his name but he had long black hair in a ponytail, was super friendly. He was upfront and talked me through the process first and suggested we try charging it on his charger first and I left my phone there to charge for a few minutes. It charged just fine. I wouldve paid to have the charging port without a thought, he really didnt have to do that. Plus, I asked if I could get the stupid little flap over the charge port fixed so itll be water resistant again. He didnt have the part, BUT he took down my name and number and said hed look and see if the other stores around the store had one and if they could transfer it otherwise hed order it. Its a tiny sale. $15. And I wont be charged for shipping if it has to be ordered. He even recommended a new charging cable that literally charged my phone in less than a half an hour. Dude was awesome.

Employees do not show up on time, customer service is unsatisfactory. I guess people dont want to work.

Bricked my iPhone 6 Plus after a simple repaired cracked screen. I remembered it worked perfectly fine while I messed around with the phone making sure the screen worked but the moment I left the mall it stopped working completely. I took it back to the booth and he said there was nothing he could do but put the old screen back on. I found a specialist here in town and he said the connections had been scratched or damaged beyond repair. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Anthony was so friendly and quick! My screen looks amazing and looks like I have a brand new phone. I definitely would recommend bringing your device to Strictly Repairz and Skinz at the Cottonwood Mall to get your cracked screen replaced.

They did an amazing job on my iPad and it was much more affordable than any other place I received a quote from.

I came in yesterday to get my iPad repaired when I went the young man that was there did not want to help at all. I asked him if I could get it fixed and he said they didn’t have the screen. So I asked can they order it and he just looked at me. He never looked at the iPad to see the kind I had he just stood by the computer like I was bothering him when I was asking him to help

Do not recommend. Adam their tech replaced my wife and I’s Apple watches 3 times and still never got it right but made excuses why it does not work. It is because their material is low quality and it is a hit or miss when their employees place the protector Skinz on Mobile devices. The owner Steven will not refund any money to customers due to poor service or lack of skills from this employees that install the protectors. He never responds to customers emails and does not allow his employees to provide refunds even though he has a written policy on the counter. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone and if anything, I have told numerous people not to go there.

As a company that tints windows day in and day out, We here at New Mexico Tint damage our phones quite frequently. However anytime we call Steve or his staff. They always seem to have every screen or a brand-new cover to protect a new phone that we may get all we have to say is keep up the good work . I went to the Rio Rancho store for a internal cell phone battery replacement. The customer service was amazing. I use my phone for work as well as personal, so I needed it back asap. Damin was willing to return to the store after hours to give me my repaired phone. I didnt make him do that as I felt that was rude to him, but I appreciated his genuine concern for his customer. They now have a lifetime customer, and tons of referrals from me. Thank you!

Steer clear: this place is super low quality and not customer service oriented, a deeply frustrating combo.I brought my minorly-cracked iPhone 7+ screen in for repair while in NM last weekend. It wasnt damaged badly, but it bothered me and I wanted to address it right away. I called around and CPR had a good time estimate (30min) and decent price (approx $109 ).They appear to hire largely teenagers, and when I came to pick my phone up the kid behind the counter was confused. He called around to the other locations within the mall and said it was now at their other kiosk, about 60 feet away. He suggested I go get it so I could pay for it, which I did. The young vet at the other kiosk was a bit confused by this, and hesitant to give it to me with no ID or proof of payment (to his credit), but when I relayed the message that this was simply my directive from the other location and I didnt know how they normally do things, he gave it to me. I walked it back to the other location and paid for it.The repair initially seemed fine, but when I got it home I realized the screen was more raised than the previous version. No longer seamless I could feel a hard edge. Oh well. It was not perfect but at least better than a crack. Then I got a call, and couldnt hear the person. Turns out the ear speaker no longer worked.I drove it back to the mall, and after another 40 minutes the same technician told me he had apparently broken the speaker cord during repair but couldnt get the new part for three days. I was leaving in two, so I told him that wouldnt work. That seemed to surprise him. He made another call and figured out he could pick one up on the way to work the next day. He told me to come back after 1pm.I did, the following day, and after another 40 min or so he fixed it. When I then asked for some sort of refund he was baffled. I fixed it under warranty. Yeah, I responded, but youre also the one who broke it...and Ive wasted extra time and effort on 2 days of my 3 day trip. He told me to take it up with the GM, Stephen Sanchez.Since the repair Ive had the numbers on my touchscreen get pressed with my face every time Ive made a call, making loud beeps during phone calls, something that never happened with the previous glass--and today when I sat down the screen cracked, again. It was simply in my pocket. I did not drop it. Clearly this glass was not the same quality as the factory version. Now Im back to square one, down $100+, with wasted vacation hours behind me and no refund of any sort to speak of.Ive since called a handful of times and am still unable to reach the manager.If youre feeling adventurous with your most prized possession then take a gamble, maybe theyll fix yours on the first or second try. Hopefully with better quality glass. Good luck!

Sky high for a basic screen repair, charges 125% of actual retail price of device, I would rather buy a new one at 75% of quoted replacement price.. Very Greedy.

This is such a shady business would not recommend it the owner never gets back with customers and all purchases are non refundable. Ive been waiting over 1 yr for them to order my phone case for a phone I dont own any more because it broke without a case.

Worst experience ever. Customer service is non-existent, every employee has to contact manager for any information to any question and the manager is never on site.I submitted my phone for a simple screen replacement. 2 months later I still do not have my phone back and may never will. I cannot get a straight answer from anyone and to top it off I have to contact them everyday for an update, nobody contacts me with an update of where my phone is.

If this is the same company Phantom Skinz which also has a location in Coronado mall, then I have to say this without a doubt is the worst service I have ever received. Very unprofessional and would not reimburse us for faulty repair. All the owner tried to do was sell another person walking by on his franchise while we were trying to get a refund.

Company sucks. Manager not on site. Only way to get a response from manager is through email. Took my phone on April 6th was told 5 days its April 17th phone still not ready. Way over priced

I called around and checked prices and I have to admit I was a little skeptical after I read a few of the reviews, but like my mom always said You cant believe everything on the internet. Anyway Im glad I did because I saved money. I brought the phone in (no appointment necessary) and I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, and when I got back it actually was. Mind blown! lol.My whole ordeal from top to bottom was pretty exceptional. There was a good friendly vibe, I like the fact my repair came with a warranty and they have multiple locations that honor the warranty.I recommend them to anyone that needs their stuff fixed..

I purchased a skin protector and followed all directions in allowing proper installment to take place. About a week later the edges started to come up and blister. I went back to strictly skinz and paid another $5 to have a different technician install the skin protector thinking the first technician didnt install it correctly. Two weeks passed and this protector is even worse the the first one. I went back to strictly skinz and inquired about just getting my money back. They advised me no refunds, but they would install another skin on my phone for $5. I told the technician that it wouldnt be worth it because they sell a defective product and its a waste of time and money to continue giving them. I contacted the owner by email because he couldnt be reached by phone....figures and he advised me no refunds. I highly dont recommend taking your phone to strictly skinz especially if you have an edge phone. Try Ghost Armor.

Dont ever go to this repair shop its been 6 months paid for my tablet in full in February the 109.58 tablet aint fixed yet and they just tell me they cant give me my money back without manager approval but seems like they can never reach him anyways if I get my money back or hopefully my tablet fixed definitely not going back here if there was 0 starts Id put it

Worst place I could ever recommend anyone looking to fix their phone. Have a iPhone 6s or 6s plus you need fixing? ha dont worry these guys would be glad to fix it with some cheap knock off brand restricting your screen from its original features ( i.e force touch wont work). Also recommend staying by the place and watching them while they fix it, who knows they might just break something that wasnt broke before so they can get more money from ya. Take my advice dont fix your phone anywhere else but apple. Of course, until apple rejects your phone for whatever reason. Chances are youll get a brand new LCD and Glass, plus its oem, for about 132-150 range through apple. As soon as these guys here open your phone the warranty is voided and apple will not fix it. These guys seem to leave that part out, so once you break it again your stuck. Need a good place to go if your already stuck in that position? UbreakIFix! literally 5 minutes away for about the same price, and their products are apple OEM Certifed! trust me on this the 5 minute drive is worth it!

Well. I screwed up my screen pretty bad so I brought it to these guys. It took 25 minutes and it was done. The only problem is that with my iPhone 6s, the home button pops up a little bit more than before and now when I just touch it, it turns on. This isnt too big of an issue but yeah, so far so good.
