I took my Ford Mustang here to get tuned and dynoed and Lawrence and his employees did an awesome job!!! Hes the only one in town who was willing to tune my car since it was a carburetor. I have taken my car to Roc La Lu for a few years now. Everything from regular maintenance to a new intake manifold. Super honest guys that do great work arent trying to suck every penny out of you.Friends and family have also had service there and love it.Wont take my care anywhere else.

Lawrence and his team are awesome! They got the work done when they said they would, very reasonably priced and my vehicle was repaired right the first time unlike other shops Ive been to. Highly recommended for any type of automotive repairs.

My husband, his aunt, and I have all used Lawrence and we love him! He is honest, friendly, and doesnt go for low quality work (unless you specifically ask him to use cheap parts). I have a nice little car from 1996, and every time I have taken it into him he always goes the extra mile to check everything out on the vehicle that I may have overlooked that may be safety concerns or otherwise. Financially he is reasonable as well, doesnt over charge or take advantage of anyone!

I ran over a tire on the highway and it damaged several parts under the car. The owner at Roc La Lu helped me understand what parts were important to replace verses what was cosmetic. It saved me hundreds of dollars in needless repairs compared to an estimate from a different body shop. I wanted some honest guidance and found it at Roc.

Great experience i have ever had. Every time i need a repair the owner and employees take great care of me. The work gets done right the first time and in a timely manner. I suggest this shop to everyone. They even do payment plans.

I moved back to NM less than a year ago and shortly after my move needed a repair for my BMW. As a female, I look for honesty, trustworthiness and reliability all which are hard to find in the auto repair industry. This place has it all including great personalities and reasonable pricing. I have not had any issues with my car since its repair and I now take my car here for all its maintenance needs. Roc La Lu will continue to be my go to auto repair place for all my vehicle needs.

Great place to take your car if it needs any repair work done! I am a female, so it makes me hesitant taking my vehicle to a new place since you always hear horror stories of how females are ripped off by auto repair shops. However, after asking a friend for a referral, she recommended Lawrence at Roc La Lu Auto Repair Shop at 315 San Pedro. I also called other repair shops for estimates on brake pads and rotors, the work I needed done, and Roc La Lu was the lowest price I could find. I am visiting back in Albuquerque now for a few days, and I really wish that I would have known of this place while I lived here. However, I live in Arizona, so if I need any repair work done and can drive my vehicle here, I will bring it to Roc La Lu. Highly recommend it!

I have taken my car to dealerships and highly recommended auto shops here. Roc la lu is the experience every woman hopes for. They are honest and give the information and price of repairs. They have years of experience and I always say they could quite possibly fix anything:) they are awesome.

So, Ive been taking my 2002 Jeep Liberty, which I bought used and had for 5 years, to Lawrence, and he takes very good care of my vehicles. They are very forthcoming, trustworthy, and have honest prices. I even have his person cell, given age of my truck and the emergency calls Ive had to give to him. Ive had my water pump, alternator, battery, back window, entire radiator system, head lights cleaned, thermostat fixed. In March of 2017, that straw that broke the camels back was when my transmission went out WHILE I was driving. I had it towed to his place, he gave me a quote for the fix and labor - far too much for a 15 year old vehicle and I wasnt looking into pouring too much money into it - so I went and got a new car and gave him the Jeep so that he could do what he wanted with it. Im not from ABQ, but hes the first mechanic Ive trusted with the welfare and health of my vehicle. Roc La Lu is fantastic.

Do NOT give these people business!Every single experience Ive had with them has been absolutely awful. My car has had an overheat problem ever since I bought it 8 months ago. When I first brought it here, they suggested having the radiator and thermostat replaced, so they did. Didnt fix the problem. I brought it in a second time. They drove it around all day, using it run errands, and they couldnt find the problem so they called me and told me nothing is wrong with it, even though I told them it definitely overheats. Why else would I be bringing it to them?!?! Then this last time, I noticed on the phone they kept pushing for replacing parts that I already recently had replaced. Then, the worst thing, when I picked it up to take it to another shop, THEY LEFT THE RADIATOR CAP OFF. Coolant was boiling off of it and spilling everywhere! These are terrible and inconsiderate people. You dont want to deal with them, trust me.

Roc La Lou are freaking awesome! So had my car taken there from a mechanic whom works at the Chevy dealership who does work on the side. Gave us a price and we have done it. But did not know Roc La Lou until having to go through the trouble, everything happens for a reason. But Ive found the best shop Ive ever been to. These guys are very professional and got the job done for me. They have gotten a screw that has been drilled so tight into my engine block which broke from being screwed in too tight from trying to get the thermostat housing on. Their prices are unbeatable, they get the job done, they dont give you the run around, test driven the car before we have taken it in poccesion incase something else couldve been wrong. Thank you guys so much! If it wasnt for these two gentlemen at the shop my engine couldve been blown. Due to my thermostat housing being glued on instead of using the gaskets. Now they are my go to shop whenever I need something done, right and at the best price!

These guys did a Brembo Brake conversion on my Dodge Magnum - it hasnt ever stopped this well! From basic service and sensor evaluations to suspension work these guys can do it all and fast! Definitely my go to shop in Albuquerque!

Best shop in town!!!! I needed work done on my Toyota MR.2. They told me it would take a day, and they gave me a very reasonable estimate. They had it ready within a few hours, and it cost less then the original estimate! These guys rock!!!

Well Roc La LU would like to apologize to a very sensitive Nick Wiecek, we would prefer a face to face or phone communication rather then getting bashed on line for no reason, Just would like to clarify a few issues on our end to defend ourselves and reputation. First you brought your vehicle 8 months prior when you bought it for a radiator and thermostat due to overheating, it took you 8 months to bring it back? Yeah that makes sense. What took you so long to do so? By the way you bought the car like that and its roc la lu fault. If it didnt fix the problem 8 months ago IM sure you wouldve bashed us then, not now. Then you bring it in the second time 8 months later wanting a head gasket kit of your own installed, not one time did you bring up the fact of your vehicle still overheating from 8 months ago. As far as running errands in your vehicle, its called test driving, since your vehicle did not overheat, and passed all the block test diagnostic we were being considerate of your wallet and not taking the 650 dollars from you for no reason. But were terrible and inconsiderate people? I take pride in my shop and try our best to make people happy, and for you to say we are terrible and inconsiderate people thats just wrong. Wish you wouldve acted like this in person when you picked up your vehicle so we couldve resolved it in person. But youre an internet bully.
