Ive had multiple repairs and maintenance done here, I can always count on Dan and his team to do a timely and correct job, any time theres anything that needs correction its done quickly without and hassles. Always friendly service and exceptional work, its great to have a family mechanic that my wife and I have used since 2012, its hard to find honest and reliable mechanics but we know we can count on Dan every time, hes straight up with his customers and returns the sense of loyalty.

Called around for several quotes for a transmission repair on my vehicle. When I called Dan, he was very friendly and was able to get my vehicle in quickly for a diagnosis.. Full transmission rebuild and the car runs great again. I appreciated that he was able to get it done in such a short amount of time.

I bought a very old truck with a bad transmission and a friend recommended Dan at Quic Transmissions. After seeing how bad it was he said it needed to be rebuilt. Very bad quality of work, could not reinstall the transmission the same way it came out. The wire harness was not secure and the O2 sensors wires had been crossed causing one needing replacement. I had to figure out where the wire harness went. One pan bolt is stripped and with the price I paid (top dollar) it should have been fixed. Would not recommend to anyone.Price is too high for the quality.For the price I could have bought a new transmission with money left over for installation.I would rather go some place else then to use the woranty.

I took my 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan in for a transmission rebuild in June 2020 and got it back a week or so later. Mr Flores kept me up to date on all the progress of the rebuild. I finally had it registered and insured so I can finally drive around and let me tell ya...... it drives like a Beauty. It feels like a new vehicle even though its well over 20 years old. This shop is friendly and professional and keeps you up to date on the progress of your vehicle. Would I recommend to a friend? You bet!!!

My family and I have been driving from Oklahoma to Oregon and on the way our truck failed I went many places and none of them wanted to help us but Mr. Daniel was the exception and he helped us to compose it and apart from that he provided us with food and an excellent treatment. 10 stars because today he reminded me that there are still good-hearted people like him. I purchased an older suv with some transmission issues. I ended up completely blowing the transmission to where it was undrivable. After speaking with many different shops and getting a range of prices and warrenties, I spoke with the owner Dan. He helped me figure out the best options to go. Dan and his team worked quickly and had me up and running within a week including a complete rebuild and updated parts. Excellent customer service, very helpful and professional, and he helped me with a longer warranty than anyone else offered. My suv is driving and shifting like a newer model, and Dan has been very helpful with all the questions I presented him with. 10/10 would recommend.

Warranty service was excellent. There is a key drop low down on the 2nd bay to the left if you need to leave your vehicle after hours. It is gray like the doors so it can be hard to see at night.

From Dereck,My vans transmission was not up to par and knew that there was something wrong with it. I might have been able to fix it no lift tools and I am wheelchair bound and trying to fix a transmission is not the easiest thing. So, I called several other places and they gave me the quote nightmare even before looking at it. However, Dan explained options and was willing to work with me. I brought it in and in about a week the van was working like it was brand new. I highly recommend Dan and his mechanics for their straightforward and honesty. I especially recommend them if you are wheelchair bound, have a family, and living on a limited income. I will be coming back for any other issues with my van or car.

Great service and great staff. I took my vehicle here when I needed a new clutch on my Mazda CX 5. It was a complicated fix but the staff were great in their estimates and relating what needed to be done. They take their time to figure out what needs to be done. They also complete the work well and at a great price. My car runs like it is a new car. I will take my car to get service here from now on.

Very unprofessional.I paid to much for a poor job they called a complete overhaul of my transmission. I pick up my vehicle and within 1week i had to return it for a problem. They kept my vehicle over 3 weeks and they couldnt fix the issue i had with my transmission. In my opinion i got RIP OFF . I received a warrant, but will never take my vehicle back to those people.ever.. I dont trust the workmanship. I can help but wonder how many others fell as i do.

My entire experience here was wonderful from beginning to end! Dan was very clear with explaining what work would need to be done on my vehicle and quoted the prices very accurately. They even provided a free follow up where they took my car on a test drive to ensure everything was continuing to hold up well after the repairs they did on my transmission.

My transmission is already starting to slip and its been less than the warranty milage mark. He wants me to leave the vehicle overnight but cant promise to put it in the shop and to keep it safe I have alot money invested into my SUV and he cant get it done asap and promise to put it in the garage after business hours.. I am gonna have to find somewhere else that does good work and sticks to the warranty information.

I had a wonderful experience getting my transmission rebuilt by Dan from quictransmissions. Not only was the work done in a timely and efficient manner my vehicle runs great! But he went above and beyond what I would expect from most mechanics in taking time on a Saturday to go and drive out of town to get special parts for my vehicle. In addition, when I required assistance in splitting up my payment between cash and credit card he was extremely helpful. Also his shop offers a easy financing program which is not based on your credit rating but on your income alone, and this allows you to have a 90 days same as cash loan for the repair on your vehicle, this allowed me to get the needed repairs done. Also, Dan always stayed in touch with me about what was going on as far as the repairs went, there was many cases where we were in touch several times a day to make sure that I was in agreement with all the decisions he made on the repairs in my vehicle. Also he has a great warranty program I now have a 4-year warranty and Im driving to California! Thank you so much Dan!

A friend of mine took his vehicle over their to this shop Because everybody was saying it was a good place it take your vehicle But I found out it wasnt a good place to take your vehicle So be careful if you take your vehicle to these people They seem like nice people when you meet him but when theyre done would give vehicle they dont care anymore long as they got paid Anything do something wrong to it the except for you to pay for it So people out there be very very careful when you take your vehicle to this place And they do not offer to fix it they say they do but del make you pay for the charges when they have to redo it When its their fault I dont think you deserve 5 stars anymore I think I deserve one star

I’ve been using Dan’s Quic Transmission for better than 20 years and have never been disappointed. I am an amateur car collector/restorer, and Dan is my go-to mechanic for transmission and drive train work. I tried to count the transmissions he has done for me and lost count at 10. Every one of those is still on the road. He has done everything from a ’67 Firebird through a ’95 Mercedes to a ’05 Jeep for me. Everything from minor transmission service to full re-builds and a differential or two. I have always found Dan’s prices to be highly competitive, his service reliable, and his work top notch. I have sent several friends and co-workers his way over the years and not one has ever had anything but good things to say on the back side. If someone else has had issues with Dan, in my experience, they need to look to their own house.

I swear, I will ALWAYS go to Quic Transmissions. Ever since back in about 2012 I had a lemon car, that I took to shop after shop after shop, those shops would take forever, charge like crazy, and it was never actually fixed. When I took it to Quic, they called within 2 hours, had it fixed within a day or two, and it was FIXED. Ive been loyal ever since, with that Eclipse lemon, my poor Sebring, my hubbys Yaris, and initial repairs for our Saturn, concluding with some finishing touch repairs for our Saturn this week to move on to its new home! I have literally NEVER had an issue with their work, or their customer service (and Im really picky on that one). The ONE time there was something after a repair I wasnt sure of (I think a smell) they said to come back and gave me not even a hint of hassel about it! (and the smell wasnt even an actual issue in the end)Tried and true, theyve made a family of customers for life!

Very disappointed in their service. It took them a week to complete what was quoted at 3 days. I never received any updates unless I called to get them. After the work was completed there was still a small leak. I brought it back and was told nothing was wrong and that the fluid was residual. However when I looked at it myself later I found that there was a bolt in the transmission housing that was loose and was never tightened when the job was finished. I expect a lot more after spending nearly $1,000.

Unable to answer most questions. Give them a call, and if you have the slightest clue about your vehicle you will be shocked that they are in business. Additionally, they require social security number, mothers maiden name and the birth certificate for your first born to even give their WAG of a quote.

BEWARE!! I was just robbed by this place! quoted me 10 hrs of labor then ended up charging me for 18hrs!!! 2hrs for looking up parts... 2 hrs for washing and disassembling... and extra $4/hr just because I provided my own parts =( Owner Daniel Flores is a dishonest businessman! BEWARE!!!!

Mr.Flores was very knowledgable and was very honest on what needed to be done to my vehicle. Price was right and was worth the work, going to be going back when I need more work!!

I had all lines, radiators, cooler replaced. Pleased with quality of work and price- Dan treated me especially well and understood what it was like to have trouble on the road. .

UPDATE: Very bad job on transmission and that is Dans responsibility, not mine in any way, as much as he tries to make that case. Very dangerous trip from Abq to Ca. Dan refuses to honor the warranty and Atra is not requiring him to do so. I would never recommend the Atra Warranty to anyone-- its been totally useless and worthless. I lost $1900. (initial post under Glen Strong needs to be deleted or edited- dont remember the password so havent been able to do it)Response to Owner: It was very clear based on reputable Atra mechanic that you should have told me that the van needed a radiator BEFORE rebuilding transmission, as any and all parts that would potentially affect the transmission should have been rigorously checked out (there was a problem as you know from the very beginning when I picked up van, verified by Brake Masters mechanic- wasnt going into 2nd gear easily- since it improved you didnt want to follow up. In retrospect, I think you should have done some testing regarding the problem ie hydraulic test). Also, I didnt appreciate that you lied and said I didnt come in at 15 day point when I did, all to avoid honoring the warranty. As other mechanics have said, they would have done everything and anything to make good on the work done; you are not a reliable technician. (I had to sell van to pay back bank loan. I still owe 1200. You should offer to pay balance of loan- I would be satisfied with that)

Had 2 tries to repair my transmission. Screwed it up both times.... arrogant egotist, with a superiority complex. Never go to this scam shop.

It took a lot longer than expected (a week) because the shop was so busy but I wasnt in much of a hurry. If you have time, these guys work miracles.

I wish I had read lucas.montoyas review before going here. I initially went to replace a transmission which was a lot cheaper than Rich Ford, though I had to return because they didnt quite finish the job - which they quickly fixed. Based on that, I started going there for all my auto repairs. First off, the owner Dan was rude to my wife on multiple occasions - he has a problem with women apparently. When wed drop off the car, it seemed to go into a black hole. His estimates were never right and he never called. I had to call him always. We sometimes had to come back because they didnt finish the job completely. He always seemed to be not all there - well, once I read what lucas wrote, it all made perfect sense to me (bad mood in the morning but suddenly very happy in the afternoons).

The staff here really was awesome they got my car in and told me everything that was wrong and how much it would cost and broke everything down for me . Highly recommend this shop to anyone.
