Today at 5:00pm I had an appointment in that place to look at the options that as a client I am in all my right and when one of the employees arrived I wanted to attend and I asked if he was the one who sent me emails talking about a possible trade of my used car and answered me NO. giving the name ROBERT FERSTL that from the first word I cross with me behaved very rude. she asked me questions if I was married and if I had children and how I kept economically in life, he continued to insist that I buy a car that they had available to whatever I refused because I went to observe prices not to make an immediate purchase. the man began to get ruder and he insisted that if I did not acquire the car in that minute I could never have a car.my answer was no because I did not want to finance with them, I have my own place where I will trust. then I asked for someone else to attend me and the first guy saw me with a scared face as obeying orders from others and after talking to him and my bank representative he offered me to go see the car they kept insisting me on buying and told me to drive it to try when the boy showed me how to move the windows he touched my legs and my thought was maybe it was an accident and then he did it twice more in such a fast way that my reaction was to hit him on the face but i was in shock that I shouted stop touching my legs and the only thing I heard was I am sorry! I never imagined that a night that must have been pleasant for me to go to see a car became a nightmare.by the way the name of this disgusting guy is Carlos Garcia. be very careful any woman who goes alone or one of her daughters. this is very despicable and should not be happening. i wont ever back again to this horrible place.

Took car for oil change/service. Was told that I had a nail in my tire, which they patched, but when re-mounting the tire on the wheel, the machine destroyed the tire. The service rep handled this really well, ordered a replacement tire, and provided a loaner vehicle free of charge. Picked up my car a week later. When it came out, the wheel and tire was covered in some type of grease lubricant. Additionally the center cap (logo) was missing, showing the axel nut. The car also clearly hadnt been washed. I pointed out that the cap was missing, which they found and replaced. I asked that they run the car through the wash, which they did. When I got home, I checked the donut (spare) to make sure it was there, and noticed that the lug nut lock key was missing. Had to return to the dealership to pick it up, as they forgot to replace. I really appreciate them replacing the tire and providing a loaner vehicle, but the lack of attention to detail has me concerned. Hope they remembered to actually change my oil and replace the filter and drain plug... Also, noticed a small dent/dimple on the trunk, likely from when the tech closed it by pushing down on it too hard. I expect better from a dealership service center. Just wish I hadnt prepaid for 3 oil change services...

Chris, Will and Kevin are the real deal. I’m sick and tired of bad dealerships with crooks for salesman and financial teams. These guys in Alameda are the exact opposite. From the second you pull up you feel like they actually want to earn your business. Even the folks that didn’t directly deal with us were amazing with their customer service. I’m a military guy and my wife is a vet. We don’t like to be BS’d with. We never got that vibe. They told us exactly how it is throughout the whole process. They always followed up with us and we’re always asking what we needed. When the 4Runner was on the way here from the factory they gave an ACCURATE timeline and kept checking and following up. When it got here, we were in and out of the dealership in an hour. Outstanding people there and We’ll be sure to keep doing business with them directly.

Recently I visited the Alameda location my parents have purchased 6 new vehicles and have been a loyal customer always recommending this location to family and friends. I knew my next purchase would be there. Right off the bat I explained my situation that I wanted to trade in my car but i first needed to get an appraisal to show my parents and move forward on a purchase.The manager (I assume, because the gentleman that was helping me was so afraid to go ask him a question) came out and told me if I wasn’t the owner of the car (my parents are the owners) why did I need an appraisal and treated me very unprofessional. He said if I couldn’t afford a car payment of x I shouldn’t be there. Mind you no credit score was taken or salary was given, this was based all on his assumptions. So, I wasn’t going to argue with someone on how much I could or couldn’t afford. So, I ignored him and walked out with an awful appraisal. I went somewhere else (without my parents) got a great appraisal.My dad in disbelief from my experience came to Albuquerque (we live about 2:30 hours away from Albuquerque) we went back to Toyota in Alameda. Same experience no body wanted to sell a car we didn’t get any help. We went up to the front to ask for help no one acknowledge us. My dad asked them ...where are your new vehicles, we dont want to see your used. They laughed at my dad and told him “we do, but not for you”. I guess appearance does matter at this location. We finally left and my father was so upset. Don’t come here to purchase a vehicle they don’t care about your business you’re better off going somewhere else.Update: I purchased a 2022 vehicle at the Toyota in Cooper you are better off going there. Great experience!

**BEWARE***If you are taking your vehicle to this maintenance department please check your vehicle to ensure the work that is being promised is actually being completed. I took my car in for a routine oil change/tire rotation. 2K miles after the maintenance appointment I was told that I needed 4 new tires(all wheel drive) because my front two had dangerously low tread and it was a hazard for me to drive. I took my car back to the dealership and was in contact with a Mike(specialist in tires) he then told me that he agreed that the tires were NOT rotated at the previous maintenance appointment but there was nothing that could be done. I then went and asked to speak to a manager when I was then directed to a Kylie Beeson (Customer Retention Manager) she was very nice and offered to give me a $6 discount from what Discount Tires had already quoted me. Unfortunately I will be taking my business to Discount Tire where I can pay SIX dollars extra and be assured I will be treated better…

Buyer BEWARE!I purchased a 2011 Highlander from a used car manager in February of this year. 4 months later when trying to trade the car in, I find out that I should have done my homework. I am nearly $10,000 upside down in the car. This is with me putting $2,000 down with no trade in.Ásked the manager to make it right through a trade in concession and he wont answer the phone or even respond to text messages.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Have purchased 2 cars from this dealership and will NEVER go back.***Update 8-9-21***Thank you Kylie for reaching out. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed during my visit back today, and even though most used cars in this current market have gone up in value in the last 4-6 months my car has either gone down or remained the same (overpriced) and is still upside down by the same amount previously stated. The management team was only willing to try to give a somewhat fair trade in (rolling negative equity) with the purchase of a brand new vehicle. Do your research prior to a purchase... Service department has always been phenomenal to deal with though.

Worst experience in my entire life!!!! I’ve bought several cars in my life but this was so bad. Not only was the manager very rude. But made me feel as if my money wasn’t good enough for his establishment! This was not only terrible he made it seem as I couldn’t get the vehicle that I wanted. We’ll guess what I did! The better part was it was cheaper and the dealer I went to was great and awesome! So I recommend for no ONE to buy a car from here they’re are rude, terrible and very cocky!

I will say Craig and Chris are honest salesmen and they stuck by their word for trade in valve when we had to wait two months for my 4Runner to come in. The buying process with was smooth and easy once it got there since we already had everything done prior. One thing I will say is that their prep team can use some when they are trying to wash the cars getting it ready for their exciting new vehicle. I do recommend LHM American Toyota to others.

I made an appointment online to see the 2021 Highlander . I heard from Tony Brown within 30 minutes of the request, which was awesome. I arrived at Larry H. Miller and was greeted by at least 3 salesman. Tony met me promptly and informed me that all of the Highlanders had been presold but luckily 2 new ones had just arrived. I did have to wait over an hour to test drive the Highlander Hybrid because the service department had to do an inspection on the vehicle before I could test drive it, which was a little annoying but Tony kept checking on the status and Clay also came by periodically to check on us.I finally go to test drive the Highlander Hybrid and it definitely lived up to the hype! Tony was knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I was able to get all the paperwork started so my husband just had to stop by the dealership and sign. Tony then delivered our new car to us that same night! Brandon, the finance guy was also helpful and knowledgeable! I would definitely return to Larry H Miller American Toyota!

Carlos and Matthias were extremely helpful and very informative. This is the first vehicle purchase experience that I have gone through where the salesman didnt treat me like an idiot female that only cared about vanity mirrors and the amount of children I could fit in my car. Carlos made friendly conversation while we waited for the Finance specialist, to complete my paperwork. Brandon is the sweetest Finance guy with very clear explanations and very efficient workflow. They offered me more than blue book for my trade in. Overall epic experience.

Made an oil change appointment for 7:20am, arrived 10 minutes early. After I finally figured out how this service thing works, with the help of service advisor, Mel. I drive my car in and its taken away to be serviced! I got a text message saying Christian has started my oil change service at 7:42, ok, not bad, Im thinking. I mean, it takes me 20 minutes to complete an oil change at home! I was feeling good about this! After an hour Im wondering whats taking so long? My impatient self was getting cranky. I started writing this review while cranky! Finally, I get a call from Paul, saying my car is done! I walk in and talk to Paul, hes very personable and plain nice! He explained all that was completed on my vehicle, which is above and beyond what I couldve done in a little over an hour not to mention 20 minutes! I have to say, I WAS thinking I wouldnt go back, even though I prepaid for the oil changes! But, I will be back! When I think with my grown up brain, I realize what a great job they have done for me! My childish self-centered, impatient brain, almost made me look like an idiot! Next time, Ill go have breakfast or lunch while my vehicle is serviced, sitting around made it seem a lot longer than it actually was! Thank you Mel, Christian, and Paul! Outstanding job, I really appreciate it! Ill see you again soon!

Took my new Tacoma in for an oil change and I logged the miles in the Toyota app. The mileage recorded was a 300 plus less and I checked the oil and it’s dirty! I put 73 miles on it since the oil change and there’s no way the oil can blacken that quickly! So my guess is they didn’t change the oil filter or oil or both. Last maintenance at 5 k they claimed they rotated my tires which is impossible since I have aftermarket rims with a lock to loosen the lugs on each wheel. Also I found a scratch on my hood that was not there previously. Disappointed to say the least

I was told I needed my drivetrain oil changed. They couldn’t get the bolt off so they cut it off without checking to see if they had one in stock! They tried several and told me they had found one that fit. But the oil leaked out onto my garage floor. Now I am wondering if the threads were damaged getting the bolt out. I’ve always had good service before but this company is not like it used to be.Update: the service mgr and advisor took care of the problem Tuesday and it appears to be fixed.I still don’t care for the impersonal service now. They used to come to you while you wait and explain everything, prioritize what needs attention. Now it seems milking people for $ is most important.

I used the Costco Auto Program to buy a Toyota Highlander and it connected me to LHM American Toyota in Albuquerque and Craig Bull who is their sale representative for Costco Auto Program sales. He did an excellent job. He was personable, knowledgeable, and a good communicator. The process was very smooth, straight forward and open. And, unlike many car dealerships, it came with no surprises.We test drove a lower trim level since it was available and then Craig found in the future production database a car in the color and trim we wanted and seemed to arrange a trade for it so he could get it for us . He showed us the Costco prices and completed a complete detailed cost estimate of the complete purchase price with fees, taxes, any dealer costs etc included. I had been shopping for a car for over a month and declined car offers from at least 3 other dealerships due to very high prices. I found the out the door total Costco Program American Toyota price to be extremely fair and reasonable.We made a small down payment and and waited for the manufacturing and shipping of the vehicle which Craig said to expect in late July. Craig sent occasional emails to include ones notifying us when it had actually been made and when it had been shipped. By 22 July Craig called us and later was demonstrating and explaining the features of our new car to us. We worked with Brandon in finance to complete the paperwork. We had a preapproved Bank of America car loan he was able to process quickly with no issues. He professionally explained some optional packages that were available and what situations they were beneficial in. The American Toyota representatives were professional and straight forward with no surprises to attempt to change the price from the estimate. My wife and drove off in a nice new vehicle pleased as could be with the product, the service, and the absolutely straight forward and open buying and pricing process. If you have had as many unpleasant experiences in car dealerships as I have over the decades, just do yourself a favor and avoid more of them by using the Costco Auto Program to buy a car from Craig Bull at American Toyota.

First day the check engine light came on, took it back and service department fixed it. Next day the front of vehicle and steering wheel wobbled uncontrollable! It was a scary experience! Was told to bring it in, I took it in and then was told that I had to take it to the dealership that sells my type of vehicle. That dealership found that a recall was done incorrectly, parts were put backwards. Next day after the dangerous wobble was fixed check engine came on again. We took it to the dealership we’re we purchased it. They told us we had to take it to another dealership. All these problems within 10 days of buying vehicle. Frustrating and so glad wife did not hurt herself!!

Everyone (appeared) to be too busy to even acknowledge my presence. It was very poor customer service. 7/6/21My partner and I came in early in the morning on 7/6/21 to get the best deal for a Tacoma that he previously saw on 7/5/21 with sales person Emanuel. Unfortunately it was Emanuel’s day off, so we got greeted by an older white male man(never introduced himself by his name) who was kind enough to get us started. My boyfriend has no credit due to his situation and when we mentioned that we wanted to put a co signer(me) sales man said that we couldn’t and handed our keys and was ready to send us off. Sales man clearly didn’t take his time to ask, he quickly judged thinking that i couldn’t co sign. Fast forward, we stayed and were getting down to a fair price and had almost everything ready to finalize except for one paper work that we didn’t have in hand. We got told that they would go down to $520 but they needed the last paper work. We wanted $500 but sales man said that they couldn’t. At this point sales man was already frustrated with us, we could tell by his body language. We decided to leave and get the paper we needed. We arrived back with the paper they needed and we still mentioned to lower it to $500 but we understood that if it wasn’t possible, we were going to be fine with $520. Well, we came back and the sales man got the copy of the paper work that they needed and came back with a rude attitude and told us that they did a “mistake” on the numbers and that the payments would be $568 instead of $520. How in the world do you make a mistake?? Why would you change it?? What happened?? They clearly confirmed us with $520 and all they needed was that last paper work. The sales man let us go like our business didn’t matter.Will take our business somewhere else.Also, sales manager Hiram Herrera came to talk to us and told us they wanted a down payment and we said no down payment and he laughed and said “don’t you guys have any jewelry or something to give up”. Disgusting comment coming from a sales manager. Not professional at all.

I purchased a brand new Prius several months ago (an experience that was awful in its own right thanks to an incompetent sales guy) and still have not received my license and registration. Turns out they needed more proof of residency, which they should have gotten from us during signing, but they just left that bit out and refuse to take responsibility for this error on their part. The most frustrating part is that the title person (Natalie?) is apparently never in the office, never answers the phone, and never returns calls after you leave a message trying to rectify the situation. I have had to make two trips back to the dealership to get extra temporary tags and am hoping that they will have gotten their act together with the registration paperwork some time in the next month but honestly am not going to hold my breath.I am continually stunned at how little anyone cares about customer service at this Toyota dealership. I definitely recommend going to the one on Copper, I regret buying from these guys.

Pay attention to the used vehicles. I bought a car from this dealer that was previously owned by enterprise. My fault, I hadnt eaten for a few hours so I rushed through the paperwork and they went through the car fax so fast I couldnt keep up. Just pay more attention to detail than I did.

I was very disappointed with this location. I thought it would be a good location as a friend of mine had purchased a vehicle at this location. He got a good deal for a Rav4.Now my experience is far from ideal. I got a extremely pushy younger sales person, I believe his name was similar to Octavio.I was very price sensitive and was the main factor when I went to purchase the vehicle. The person refused to answer my questions at times, and seem confused why I would want to ask about vehicle prices. I felt overwhelmed and thought it would be best to return with my friend. I told the sales person this. I regret giving him any contact information. I kept getting hounded by calls from him. I told him not to call me. He the proceeded to call me again and started the conversation with I know you told me not to call you. I tried to make a complain to a manager, but it seems like it fell on death ears, as the manager made it seem like the sales rep was correct and I was wrong. That is his job. I told him that I would not be back.

Sales person was great. Attentive and efficient. Got a better finance rate than the bank offered and everything was explained thoroughly. Staff was not pushy. Was able to drive away in a new car with the exact features I wanted and for what I was expecting to pay. I felt the facility was safe.

I always have enjoyed the cleanliness and amenities of the waiting area, although, due to circumstances beyond their control (Covid 19) no drinks or treats were available! Was looking to use the Costco car buying service for the first time. The day before I told the person over the phone that I only wanted a test drive. Day off I show up and mention again that I only wanted a test drive, and again during. Total of 3 times. Its suppose to be a no hassle experience but at the end of the day Im being sold a vehicle. Again i told them I only wanted a test drive and to see where the final numbers would be. So much for the no hassle part. Its 2 stars because the place looks nice.

Highly disappointed. Unsatisfactory visit. After my oil change new oil was not put back into my car. I almost left the lot before realizing my car had no oil. I do not know how long my car was run without oil. Such a mistake can cause significant damage to a vehicle. I immediately took my car back to Toyota. They put oil back in my car. I was given a business card to call if there are future issues. I can only assume my car is okay. They offered to run a test on my car on a future date. The issue was addressed and I can assume they did what they could. But my car should not have left the shop without oil. I expect more of Toyota. I only went in for an oil change and I still ended up having to pay more for work they suggested needed to be done. A business card and encouraging words were not compensation enough for the stress, time lost and hazard to my car.

I purchased my SUV here and the Costco representative was obnoxious, not customer-centric at all. I returned to service my car months later and they’re not efficient at all. My husband just took his Lexus here and they kept his tire lock, didn’t clean his car, etc. I recommend going to other Toyota dealerships in town, don’t waste your time and $$$ here.

Go to this dealer if you want somebody to lie to you. The sales guy sat across the desk from me and repeatedly lied about and distorted the interest rate for the vehicle I wanted to buy. He refused to let me take with me the paper on which he had drawn up some figures. I am pretty sure he committed fraud and did not want any evidence of it.

With the shortage in cars available there wasnt a whole lot of cars to chose from. Octavio did accommodate my needs with a used vehicle they had just taken in on trade. Great and timely service! Chris Torres and Gino L were extremely helpful and understanding of my 4-Runner issue. They followed up and kept me in the loop with the mobile app. Service prices and parts are high and getting really expensive but believe this is standard for the auto service game. The quoted cost replacing my door lock motor was like costs in days past when an actual car motor had to be moved to replace a part. When buying my next vehicle I will definitely keep this in mind.

Made an appointment a week in advance for an oil change, I arrived 30 minutes early, three hours later my Service Advisor approaches me and says my vehicle needs all the fluids changed and valves cleaned. He says my power steering fluid is black, my brake fluid is bad, transmission fluid needs replaced, etc, etc, etc...upwards of $900 (oh and I had previously purchased an oil change package for $150 that included three oil changes, free tire rotation and 70 point inspection). Then he tried to charge me $90 for the oil change. I had to make him look me up to show him I had already paid.I got home and decided to check the power steering fluid myself...crystal clear, NOT black. I took a look at the brake fluid, crystal clear but about 1/8 low (why didnt they top it off???). I noticed they DID NOT rotate my tires even though I requested they do so.I dont understand why Toyota went to the Service Advisor model. I have had nothing but headaches from these people and they are dishonest individuals.Needless to say, I LOVE my Toyota, but I will never purchase another one (this is my 6th one, I WAS a loyal owner) and I will never return to a Toyota dealer for ANYTHING. If I get a recall Ill go to someone reputable instead of these clowns. This was the last straw.Indignant to say the least.

Scheduled to have a service done, and we decided to look around/inquire about a new vehicle.Joe K in the service department was absolutely fantastic. Something broke during the service, and he called us to explain what happened and the cost to repair. He was patient and kind— that goes a very long way.Ethan F was the gentleman helping us look at the incoming inventory and was great. He was the ONLY employee to approach us while we were looking around at the cars on the lot.The unfortunate part was that the man who came over to talk pricing, trade in, etc. He didn’t introduce himself to us, and while we are a very young couple, we felt that he was purely trying to swindle us. We don’t not plan to return to purchase any vehicle here in the future based on how we felt treated during our visit. I have been buying cars from this dealership for almost 20 years. I dont know what has happened to the service department. The last 4 visits for regular service has been terrible. There was better more organized service with the old facility. With a scheduled appointment you will wait 3 hours for an oil change. This will be my last visit to this location. Staff roaming around, eating and generally Bs-ing! As a long time Toyota owner, I am not impressed or satisfied.

David was great. He helped me and kept me informed throughout the process. He did a great job 5 starts for David. However, I was told it would take 45-50 mins for the service to be complete but it took 2 hrs. Also I requested a car wash and the car wash was done very poorly. You could see spots and dirt outside of the car. They never even cleaned the inside.

I went in on Sunday looking to purchase a 2020 Rav 4 Hybrid. Miguel Solis helped me through the process and was amazing! He was knowladgeable, patient, and genuainly friendly. He made sure all of my questions were answered and informed me of other things I didnt think to ask. He helped me through every step of the way. Hiram, the sales manager, made sure my trade-in got top dollar, I got the best deal for the new vehicle and that the numbers were right for the sale. Worst dealership ever! I bought a brand new car from Larry h Miller in 2017. Shortly after buying the car the driver window came off track in the door and scratched the pain on the door as well as the appliqué black out tape. The belt molding and run Chanel were broken as well. I called Toyota because the car was still under warranty that I paid extra for. They said they would get it all taken care of but failed to do so. So I was forced to fix it myself. Then as time went on the paint on my car started to get tiny cracks in the on every panel. I called Toyota and tried to get it taken care of but they said there was nothing they could do because the warranty doesn’t cover the paint. So know I’m stuck with a car with cracking paint and it’s only a 2017. I will never buy a car from Larry h Miller ever again or recommend them for anything.

Minimal hassle, the vehicle we wanted had to be ordered which was ok because we werent in a hurry. We were told we would be receiving the vehicle within six to eight weeks, unfortunately delivery was delayed by an additional thirty days, but once the vehicle arrived the final transaction was short, simple and stress free. Worst buying experience ever. They will try to lie and add more months on to your loan with out your approval. Adding Xtra packages to make the. Money even if you decline beware of the shady sales managers. The sales manager was trying to add In Xtra packages I told him I didnt want. My loan was supposed to be for 464 for 75 months he was trying to add a package that would make it the same payment for 84 months and trying to rush me into signing so I wouldnt notice. It worked and I signed but then noticed that same day something was wrong so I went in and went over the papers with a blonde sale manager and. Told her I did not want to do the loan if it was 84 months at the 464. She took the unnecessary package off for me and got it back to 75 months. O was happy and gave the down payment at that time. Next day they say I have to.go in to sign an additional document which seemed s little off. I asked what I was signing and she stated Privacy statements. It was just on th little digital signing pad.i should have asked for it in written form so I could read. Now 2 weeks later after getting g back from a work trip I get my paperwork in the mail and it is showing 84 months again not the 75 I agreed to or that I willingly signed for . This seems very wrong g and unprofessional is there any way to get this fixed?

I inquired online about a specific vehicle ( I knew what I wanted). The person that called me told me he could get what I wanted, and I set up an appointment with him for that weekend. When I arrived at the dealership, the person I was scheduled with wasnt available and pawned me off on some other, not-so knowledgeable salesman. Both he and one of the managers told me that the car I wanted, didnt exist and tried really hard to sell me something that I didnt want, that was on their lot. I ended up looking at Toyota of Santa Fe and they had 4 of the cars that didnt exist. Dont waste your time here!

I arrived at 7:10 for my 7:20 appointment for an oil& filter change. At 9:10 my truck was parked at the garage entry for me to exit the premises after the necessary paperwork was presented. I actually counted 12 service reps at 12 computer stations, and only three were involved with customers. At 9:35 I finally contacted a service rep to see why no one had called me to a desk to do final paperwork. It was only then that I was able to finalize things and get my truck keys to leave. I realize it is a very busy place, but I do not think its good customer service for an oil change to have to take 2 hours and 30 minutes! Usually I have been out of there after no more than a little over an hour.

I highly recommend customers steer clear of the Toyota Care Packages and have your finance person print out all your paperwork instead of giving you a USB drive. I’ve learned a very expensive lesson as I bought a $19K car with $8K added in all of these add-ones totally unnecessary (service contract $3K, Tire & Wheel $600, Keys $200, Drive & Purch $220, Maintenance $440, Paintless/Dentless repair $610, Appearance (non-refundable) $1250, Vehicle Theft $200 (non-refundable)). I didn’t have the paperwork given to me and I was signing an electronic signature bar so the additional $8K wasn’t transparent at all. All I was told was “It’s Toyotathon and you’re getting a great deal.” Eight months later, I had to get a bigger vehicle and had to open the USB drive to find the number to call to cancel my options. Of the 8 months and 7K miles driven, all the options costed me $8K and they are giving $4K back. I’ve lost over $4K because I was stupid. I was dooped by not printing out the paperwork to see through the “good deal” that was not at all a good deal for me but great commission for sales & finance. The Camry is an excellent car but I would steer clear of any of the add-ones, no matter how nice the finance person is. Toyota’s are made to last and I’ve only had 1 oil change that cost me $4K - I guess it’s how you look at it. Our finance person was Jessica Baca and our sales person was Matthias Cordova. I will never, never, never buy a car from Larry H Miller again. The asked the finance person I spoke to, “how do you sleep at night knowing you added 40% of the cost of the car to my loan in options?”… response was “The best I can do is help you fill out the cancellation form.” Sad day.

Wasn’t too impressed… I got a Toyota Prius… used btw…. Signed all my documents and paid my down payment… was given the vehicle “as is”…. When they gave me they keys I asked if the vehicle was cleaned or if I’m getting my first oil change free… which to me has ALWAYS been a common courtesy… I was told by my salesman “wow you’re really pushing it aren’t you.” SUPER INAPPROPRIATE…. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere… also there is a crack on my front windshield. As the saying goes buyer beware.

Really impressed with the technology they have regarding service. You can approve or deny additional work that the technicians might find on the car while you’re sitting at home, all right from your smart phone or computer. It had the price for the parts and the labor plus photos of what the tech found which made it really easy to make a sound decision with no pressure from someone over the phone demanding an answer. Talked with the wife, approved some things, turned down other services and our pickup time was barely affected by the extra work. All in all, a great experience.

Updated May 24, 2021: This time I was able to schedule my appointment online. Easy drop off, easy pickup. Good communication about my service. Much better than last visit.Good service. I had tried to make an appointment over the phone a couple of weeks ago, and for some reason, they never set me up with an appointment. This time, I requested the appointment online. That worked out much better. I had to select an available appointment, which was not on my preferred date, but it did result in me having an actual appointment time.When I drove up to the service area, the door automatically opened. There were few cars in the area at the time, and I was immediately approached by a service person. He took my information, and within a matter of minutes I was on my way. I went to lunch and ran some errands. While I was out, I received a text asking for me to review some additional items that they recommended that I have fixed. The link in the text took me to their service recommendations page. It had pictures of each item, what the problem was, and the cost to fix it. Took me about 2 minutes to review and approve. I subsequently received a voice call to tell me that the car would be ready at 4:30 PM. I arrived at the dealership at that time. The service specialist took care of me in about 3 minutes. I paid my bill, and departed. It all went pretty much like clockwork. Took a little less than 3 hours. If I had not had issues with my first attempt to get a service appointment, I would have given 5 stars.

BEWARE! If you are taking your vehicle to this maintenance department . Took my new truck in for its first oil change .oil was never changed neither was filter . When I got home i let the truck set for couple of hours then checked the engine oil level and drain plug The drain plug did not have a single scratch on it wich means it was never removed and the Oil level was to high . Witch means they just added oil but did not drained any of it .

Having to sit there for 3.5 hours for an oil change and to check on some odd things. With no one telling us any updates is unacceptable. We were told that it had been done for a while. We had told them we would wait inside. This is NOT okay. They had both of our phone numbers. They only called once apparently and left a message which my wifes phone was dying. Anyone would call both phone numbers or at least check to ask who we were and what were waiting on which they did not bother to do.

Horrible experience. Took time off for recall and oil change. The parts werent available and the oil change took 5 hours. They didnt even refill the wiper fluids. Makes one wonder if the oil was changed at all. Had we known the prepaid services were going to be this bad, we might not have paid for them. Need to find another Toyota dealership for service.

I was there for 5K maintenance (however, my vehicle has been 1 and half year old) and I told them to change the cabin air filter, because of the odor from the air conditioning. When the services were done, I was charged for the cabin air filter. When I was driving back home, I still smelt the odor. Then I checked the cabin air filter, so surprisingly, the old cabin air filter was still there, nothing got changed. Thats an obvious warning sign. So I checked the engine air filter too, since according to Toyotas maintenance schedule, the engine air filter should be inpected and changed as necessary every 5K. No surprise this time, the original engine air filter was there too, even though its already dirty. So they just charged me and redeemed the service fees to Toyota and simply done NOTHING?! And if you want to rely on them to professionally maintain your vehicle, you can forget about it. NO honest business at all. This is my first Toyota. This dealership made me so disappointed.

5+ STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I needed to have the oil changed on my 4Runner and before I scheduled the appointment, I was warned about the monger than usual wait times. I ended up spending about 6 hours there but it was fine since I was working from the dealership. Mel Ramos is an EXCELLENT service member. He gave me a discount and ended up apologizing multiple times for the long wait. The dealership was so busy and full of customers and Mel was putting out fires left and right. The overall experience for purchasing a vehicle from Larry H. Miller was uneven and not very satisfying. Initially the sale person was friendly and attentive. However, four weeks later when we picked up the vehicle we felt rushed reviewing all the features of the vehicle as well as disrepected when asked to review the VIN since it did not match the original invoice. We were told it was no big deal, but after talking with the Finance person ( RaShad Ruff), he said that he had never seen that before. The only bright interaction was with RaShad Ruff. He was friendly, respectful and informative. Would I buy another vehicle from Larry H. Miller American Toyota Albuquerque???? Probably not.

I went in to get an oil change. I was told that the timing cover seal was leaking and would need repairs. There were also some flushes that were needed. I was told this on Friday. I was told the repairs would be done by Saturday. The cost of the approved repairs was $3,100. I was told that at 1pm on Saturday that the repairs are complete, then at 2pm, I was told that there are some alarms going on, which need to be addressed. Apparently the radiator seems to have been affected/damaged during the repairs and that was replaced free of charge. I finally picked up the car at 5pm. Then I drove it home, parked it, restarted it at 6pm and it showed the “check engine” light. So, I parked it back. I was told to bring it back on Monday. I got a call on Wednesday that the timing was adjusted again and now the starter died. And the mechanic called to inform me that even though it was in Toyota care while it died, the customer representative told me it was expensive and they want me to pay for it.I asked her to have the Toyota manager call me and if the damage is caused by Toyota, then they need to fix the damage before returning the car to me.My issue has not been resolved yet.

Most of the service is great. However, last time I got my car back after oil change with all tires at 26psi and tire pressure light on. That should have been at 32-35 which make me think no one even checked the pressure.Edit: received call and was told that procedures will be revised. Tires were due for replacement but they didn’t have the brand we wanted. We agreed that rotation is not necessary at this time. I believe that is the reason why tire pressure check was skipped.

When we went to the dealership to purchase a vehicle everything was perfect everyone was super nice very attentive to us. Now that I had to go back for service/maintenance it was not a pleasant visit. I asked the valet guy if I would be able to get a car (rental) due to me having 3 kids with me I would rather leave. He offered a lift, I explained to him we live far (Belen) he proceed to ask another employee and unfortunately they didn’t have rentals, he said he would let my service advisor know if I would be able to get a lift. I asked him to please have him come talk to me inside so that I could figure out what to do once I have an answer. He never came we waited for 3 hrs. I finally got a text saying your car is ready for pick up, I assumed my vehicle would be brought to the side of the building like all the other ones. No one called my name, nothing. I waited another 15 minutes I finally asked one of the agents that was free what I should do, he did referred me back to the garage where my service advisors desk was, so here I go with 3 kids across the garage to talk to him, he saw me walk up to him as I called his name to make sure that was him, he ignored me didn’t even say “I’ll be with you in just a minute” nothing! Looked away and got on the phone. The agent that was sitting on the desk in front of his saw me and saw his unprofessional behavior towards a client and proceed to greet me. She was super nice she apologized for that little scene and started helping me get my vehicle. I explained to her I had no idea what I had to do since it was my first time getting service there so she explained how everything works. I am happy that at least she was able to provide a good ending experience to our visit that day, you can tell she felt terrible for her coworker unprofessional behavior towards a customer. J. S definitely needs some more people skills and customer service training.
