Really cool shop that does great quality work! Thieves attempted to steel the cats from my car but must have gotten scared off since they didnt end up taking them. I called Peles and they told me to come through same day, welded everything up, and had my car back on the road quick. Will be back for any exhaust work in the future.

I arrived at Peles and they were very welcoming. They were able to put a cage around my catalytic converter right then! Beautiful work kind people and I sure feel a lot safer that someone will not take my catalytic converter again!

Pele really hooked up my 1969 Buick GS! I talked to a few shops and looked at a lot reviews and I ended up here. Needed to replace 15 year old flowmasters and tailpipes and they did a fantastic job! My car has a lowered suspension setup that makes the exhaust hard to do, but these guys took care of me! Very happy with the job, and the price was fair. I cannot recommend this place enough. These people are friendly and competent, an excellent combo... Thank you Pele! BTW, body shop next door has hella cool people too.

I had my catalytic converter stolen Im January and went to Peles to have it and my two missing O2 sensors replaced, as well as a cage put in. This was not a cheap fix and cost me $ 2700. Well my check engine light came on last month (9 months after the repair) and when I took it to the shop they told me that the O2 sensor that was replaced in January by Peles is what is causing the problem. When I called Pele to see if there is any warranty on the O2 sensor the lady told me there was nothing they could do for me and they did not offer any warranty on the O2 sensors. I would not do business with them nor recommend them to anyone. They are very nice while taking your money but when there is a problem you will be nicely told to go pound sand.

I dont do reviews often but this shop is worthy of a 100% A+ recommendation. Peles Muffler Works shop is hands down, a high-quality business. I needed a catalytic converter cover/shield installed on my Honda Element asap and called around frantically. Admittedly I passed up Peles because I didnt see a website, but another business recommended Peles and Im so glad they did. Super friendly and professional, great price and did it while I waited. They even took me under the car to show the quality work. Absolutely fantastic and honest business, cant recommend highly enough!

Friendly staff in a laid-back garage next to a much larger collision repair company. Located right off I-80.I needed a cover to protect my catalytic converter from getting stolen on my Prius. It was done very quick and cheaper than other quotes.

These guys helped me out of a Jam and went the extra mile. My daughters Cat was attempted stolen and the exhaust system was cut up in pieces. They stayed open late to do the repair. Were friendly and charged a reasonable price for their work.

I cannot thank the crew enough. Last week I got into my truck to go to work and noticed my truck sounded very odd. Looked underneath and seen a lot of damage to the exhaust pipes and muffler. I called Peles Muffler Works later that afternoon and they seen me as early as the next morning. Even made time for me on a Saturday. The work was done professionally and quickly. Brought my cracked motorcycle muffler in to see if marcus could weld it shut. Not only could he get it done, he could get it done right there on the spot and free of charge! I wanted to pay him something or buy him and his guys lunch, he simply insisted if I have a car with a muffler problem, I would know who to take it to. You got your self a deal sir! I had a wonderful experience here -- they replaced the catalytic converter on my Prius for $400 less than any other shop I could find, and they included the protective plate. Best car repair experience I have ever had. My engine/exhaust sounded funny and I guessed it was a leaking exhaust. Smog test was coming up and I needed to fix it. Took it to a few shops, some wanted to keep it for a day, and one shop wanted $90 just to look at it. Another shop after listening to the engine thought it was the engine block wanted to bring down the engine!I took it to Peles Muffler Works, and was lucky enough to arrive when they were taking another car down. One of the employees, after listening to the engine, knew what it was. He put the car on the lift, and there was a big hole in the exhaust. After showing me the leak he gave me a quote to fix it on the spot. He was done in a few minutes. I was more than happy to tip him, as he saved me time and money.Thank you!

Had an aftermarket cat-back exhaust installed a little over a year ago. It took 45 minutes and for a great price. No problems since, and the owner is a good guy; friendly and personable. Highly recommended for quick, cheap, and quality exhaust installs.

Very good experience with my finicky Mitsubishi turbo. Result is awesome - my car idles and runs properly now, air/fuel issues are gone plus very nice quiet tone. Its a good idea is to take advice from the guy there :)

There have been a rash of stolen cat coverters from Priuses in the Bay area, including my neighborhood. We own 3 Priuses. Called Berkeley/Albany Toyota to see where I should go to protect our cars from the thefts. Were referred to this business. They were awesome! Fabulous service, innovative solution. I brought in a Nameless axleback exhaust for my 18 Subaru Impreza Sport. I dont have the space to get under my car so I called around looking for someone to install. Knowing its a 20 minute job, I was quoted upwards of $200 at some other places which I knew was a complete rip-off. I walked out of Muffler Works in 30 minutes and spent $40. Absolutely will be coming back. Top notch service and as a female car enthusiast, appreciate not getting taken advantage of.
